Recent fence work has affected GZ. The cache is gone. I won't be replacing it.
Had to make a trip to the airport today so decided to do a few caches on the way home. My usual way through Sunbury was held up by a traffic accident so i looped around via m80, found a new lot of caches to tackle and away i go. I must admit that i felt more like i was practicing proctology than dentistry but i couldnt feel my way to this one.
Good little find on new years night 3 in a row good first time with the boys heading home now this is alot of fun
Thanks Benjamin Screamer,
It's my mums birthday, so I wanted to show them what the deal was with the very addictive hobby. After solving a puzzle elsewhere but failing to find the cache, this was a great one to show the finding aspect of things. as a result, I believe we have a new convert to this magical world. Thank you

Melbourne Cup Monday the unofficial Public Holiday!!! We decided last week to go for a drive to visit Regional Vic, we headed up towards the airport and headed north winding our way to Romsey for Lunch, across and over Mount Macedon before venturing south and finishing up near Calder Park, We ended up with 30 finds, one DNF, and lots of laughs. Thanks for all the cache owners for placing their caches.
Campbell was out pretty quickly to make the find, putting it back took a bit longer when he got worried after he was told someone was watching him (sheep in the nearby paddock)!!

Visited Melton Botanic Gardens with the puppies and thought seeing I was driving the BIG car, would find this cache being on a dirt road. Never been down this road so it was nice to see the landscape from a different perspective!
Thanks for the find! Still a great location and container was still in good condition.
The grass is so long here along the corner post. Need to invest in some gloves and a pokey stick if im going to go for this.
It seems COVID safe enough to enable the cache. Be careful. I don't want to disable this one again.
This cache has been temporarily disabled to reduce the chances of spreading the COVID-19 virus. It will be back in business when health authorities say it is safe to go bush walking etc. Stay safe. Wash your hands. Maintain social distancing.
Found at 9:16 am.
Today Fleabag- wanted to find his 6,000th cache with me before he headed off on a work trip so a lofty goal of 74 caches was needed but we got there even though 3 caches into the day the low pressure tyre warning flashed up on the dashboard and we had a slow leaking flat tyre. We mucked around for way too long trying to work out how to change it. It was on the drivers side too ... the wheel that wasn't pulling off onto the side of the road all the time?? I haven't had a flat tyre for probably 20+ years and RACV changed that last one. So for the rest of the day the paranoia of having another flat was hanging over my head and occasionally with the non alloy spare wheel the tyre pressure sensor failure message starting coming up on the dashboard instead. We made it though without another flat on a LOT of gravel roads that Fleabag- managed to keep finding.
The first cache with our new non alloy wheel on but we made the find quite quickly here.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Started the day needing 74 more for my 6000. And my awesome geobuddy was the person I wanted to share this with. The cache is not that important, it's the adventure. So off we went heading north with a mission. And probably lots of maccas.
Found the cache quickly but the joke was lost on me...
Thanks to Benjamin Screamer for the placement and fun.

This geocache is currently disabled because I support the government's non-essential activities restrictions that have been introduced because of the COVID-19 virus crisis. I encourage you all to suspend your geocaching activities ASAP. We must all work together to stop the virus spreading. The cache will be enabled in the future.
Out for the day on a cache hunt with goingplaces2. We found a total of 42 for the day and had a lot of fun. This was one of the ones we found and signed. TFTC.
We set out this morning for a caching run with ilook4geo and tried to cover a variety of cache types, various sizes and caches of particular interest.
Liked the joke here but hope it never happens to me. Thanks go to Benjamin Screamer for the cache placement here.

Out on a caching adventure in Sunbury with Kristysadventures. That’s a mighty big cavity! TFTC
Told my wife the joke, went to get the cache
Easy find, a true drive by as I didn't even turn the engine off, plus the dirt road was in good condition.

Thank you for this nice easy find to end my day.. found just as the sunset is starting so had a beautiful view to.
A nice quick find here. I had just finished the TSS series and was making my way to the next "zone" and found this while passing. TFTC
The end of the month was almost upon us and I hadn't quite reached 100 caches. I'd originally planned to leave two particular series' along with the original TSS and a smattering of others for 50 in a day but the desire to reach 100 for the month took precedence.
I didn't manage the 50 yesterday so I was back again today to get the numbers up. The caches were of high quality, there were few muggles about and the worst that could be said was that the weather was a little too warm for my linking. Almost all the caches were found in good condition barring Wet your Whistle and it's neighbours to either side. The logs really need replacing as they are more than a little damp. I'm sorry that I didn't have replacements to hand.

After dropping my Wife and Daughter of at Tullamarine Airport I took the slow way back to Portland caching.
No trip to the dentist is a laughing matter!
Thanks

Found while heading down to Melbourne for the weekend.
Well a trip that would normally take a little over 2.5 hours to do, today took a happy (and a little bit zig zaggy) 8.5 hours.
And a few more than 55 stops to grab the caches on my hit list. All ranging from micros up to larges.
With the day being a scorcher out on the game board ment that water was needed all the while. And plenty of sunscreen.
Thankfully with all the bark, logs, bushes and false tops moved to access caches no snakes were out, me thinks it was too hot for them today too.
All caches found were in good order, unless stated above.

What did the judge say to the dentist?

Do you swear to pull the tooth, the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth?

It's Boxing Day and we'd rather be out caching than battling the hoards at the shops. We've made the trip to Melton for the return of the 'Intervening Days' event. I think I attended 3 or 4 of these events in the past and there have been plenty of new caches recently published to make it a nice day out. We should have found this cache at 2:30... get it? Thanks for the cache Benjamin Screamer.

Another quick stop'n'log on the outskirts of Melton. We smiled twice: At your joke and now at the hint. This host looks a lot more sturdy from afar than it really is.
Hi there Benjamin Screamer.
We had some appointments in Melton today, and when they were finished we spent some time caching around the area, using a "next closest" methodology before heading off to Bacchus Marsh to catch up with family.
All up we found 10 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** A gold coin.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

On my way home from working out here in the west today and not sure how I will cope with the hour plus drive across town. Maybe if I break the drive up with a cache or two
Quick find on the way to some sort of main road, hot an dusty this afternoon.

The cache (with a different container and a new log book etc) is back in the exact place that it was originally. I don't know why, but it seems to me that it's harder to find now! The clue still works.
We had no trouble finding the capped post or the cavity where the cache was hiding. We're not sure what the dentist's response to this cache would have been. Ours certainly was yuck!.
It would appear that the rock has been dropped on the container lid smashing it. As the container is in a deep cavity that fills with water the cache contents are now wet and mouldy. The plastic bag holding the log book was open and the log book was a pulpy mess.
We replaced the container with a 200ml sistema and a log book in a zip lock bag.
Thanks for the cache Benjamin Screamer. We love the story behind this cache.

Cache was rather full of water, but the log was safe. Emptied it out and found the cache. Hint is rather explicit, so use as a last resort...mind you, I needed the hint!

A mate of mine needed some tech support, so I drove out this way to give his computer a stern talking to. Once that was sorted, and we'd had a nice cuppa and a couple of bikkies, it was time to play.
While knocking off the remaining sayings from my map, the request that I play taxi driver for the elder child tonight came through. So, what circuitous route can I take to Scienceworks?
Well, any time another Joke comes up on the map, it's worth a drive for the chuckles. Literally. Thanks, Benjamin Screamer.

TFTC. Another themed cache. A quick drive by on the way home after spending the night with family in Hillside. Glad my cavities are not that big.
It sure was a giant cavity but the bonus was that it could hide a geocache of this size.

This is one of the finds we made, while making our way around our Melton centred "Pocket Query". The caches placed by this CO ticked all the "Trad" boxes for us: Intriguing cache notes, such as this among a variety of cleverly camouflaged and clearly labelled containers.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Needed a few caches to round out the months' finds, so I headed out along the Melton Highway.
A nice cool day for a few caches, although the road was busier than I thought it would be.
Very applicable hide for the joke. (and a cute clue)
Thanks, Robmc.
