No point logging a needs maintenance, the CO has been inactive since 2016.

25-May-18
No luck for me either. Council has laid new mulch so it's either buried or gone.

29-Apr-18
DNF (maybe)? Turned up zip loc bag with faded/rain damaged papers within. Is this the cache? Unsure. Brownies, if you read this, my 1, 4, and 7 year old kids enjoyed the hunt and we found a birds nest while scanning the canopy Smile

26-Apr-18
Think it might need to be checked

15-Apr-18
Needs to be checked, can't find it. Not much coverage left for a big container

08-Apr-18

Stopped off in Templeton after staying a night at the motor home park down the road. Time for a coffee and some caches we thought! Lovely peaceful spot here this morning so spotted the cache, quite exposed so have left it covered up a little bit more. Thanks Brownies!

28-Nov-17
This is a lovely park for children to play in, another one not visited before. Not sure what we'd find - looked like a recent garden tidy up around the flax but we didn't find a cache nor the logbook previous cachers mentioned they'd found. Maybe we were looking in all the wrong places.Sad

26-Nov-17
TFTC again like others found log and bag out in open

23-Nov-17
Like others could only find the bag. It seems as if the owner is no longer in the game, so not quite sure whether there will be any maintenance

19-Nov-17
Quick find on the ground. No container. Just in plastic bag. Desparetly need attention

25-Oct-17
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

Headed down for th elong weekend with harisree on a mission to find some old caches and have a bit of a roadtrip. This was the first find after finally getting our rental car moving (picked it up with a stuffed battery and then had to wait hours for the AA to replace it - thanks Jucy). Got here and found remains of the cache - the log book in a bag, but no container. Put it back in the nearest tree, but CO needs to check. TFTC

25 June 2017 17:40. I was a Snowy Owl Brownie Leader a looooooooooooong time ago when Brownies wore brown uniforms and started a meeting by dancing around a toadstool with a wise old owl sitting on top of it. We didnt do anything like geocaching - if we did secret messages it was with semphore flags! Today I was dancing around looking for a cache. All the trees here had been trimmed recently and I was afraid your cache had gone. I looked a bit more and found a cleverly concealed cache still snuggly hidden. TFTC TBrownies

Today Injeanious and I started early and left home at 7am aiming to complete our biggest geocaching day ever. We started in Templeton before heading to Thompson Track and Rangiora. Altogether we found 126 caches in 14 hours. We had maybe 3 DNFs all day so felt very successful, although very tired.
Thanks to all the cache owners for helping us with our great day!
Sorry for the cut and paste logs but there were too many caches to log individually.

18-Feb-17
JD and I were out on a mission to have our biggest caching day so far and we accomplished it by finding 126 caches in a day! We signed the log as Jeje. We grabbed this one on our way out of town. We ran across the park and soon found the cache after we figured out where to look. The neighbours dog had just started to bark at us, so our timing was pretty good. Tftc.

A fairly quick find and I added a few small plastic toys to the cache. I will confess that I was also playing Pokemon on my walk around Templeton.

29-Jan-17
I was out smurfing with purdiepurdie yesterday - decided I should return to the scene of the crime to pick up some which she had already collected.
Got to the end of today's plan - and there's always "just one more" - which was this cache.
Thanks very much, TBrownies, for placing and maintaining this cache - from a former Knox, Dunedin, Brownie & Guide.

Whenever we are in Christchurch, or passing through, we stop off at the Cookie Time factory to buy bags of broken cookies. After visiting the factory we decided to look for nearby caches and this was one of the closest. It didn't take too long to spot the container after checking a few possible hiding locations. We have found quite a few of these containers and it was good to see the selection of swaps inside. Thanks for the cache TBrownies.

#13133. Our first TB (Templeton Brownies) find of the evening, and my favourite hide of the four (nice placement and covering, and good coords). Thanks for the series (giving this one a Favourite Point on behalf of the series).

07-Oct-16
StreetWalker and I set off after dinner to find some caches in Templeton. We had cached out this area a few months back, but there were now 4 new TBrownies' caches to find.
This was the first stop, and all was quiet on this chilly Friday evening. It didn't take long for StreetWalker to find the cache, nicely nestled in this secluded wee corner of the park. Well done, Templeton Brownies. TFTC.

28-Sep-16
Hi templeton brownies thankyou for a great hide. We have enjoyed finding the caches you have hidden.

20-Sep-16
Hi Templeton Brownies., thank you placing this cache. I think this was a tricky hide. I am glad you didn't hide it in the flax bushes. I hate flax bush hides. Off now to find some more of your caches. Signed BaldEd

17-Sep-16
TFTC. Plan to go and look for a few newish Brownie caches. Nice wander in the park to GZ.
Thanks to the Templeton Brownies for placing this cache for others to enjoy.

Daughter twisted my arm, and I decided to ditch work for the day and go caching with her instead! Unfortunately I could not disappear for the whole day, as there was a night class to be taught, but we had an amazing day and found heaps of caches before I had to head back. I climbed under so many hedges that even halfway through class, I was removing vegetation from myself. Still better than when I brought a spider into the yoga room and cause a small upheaval... One of the funniest experiences of the day? When I managed to climb out of the hedge well before the muggle walked past, but I was sitting there on the ground by the path, with an open semi-ripe plastic tomato, pretending like it was just another day Big Grin Thank you to all the CO's for the placements!!

Planned to go out with mum for a whole bunch of caching for the day - try clear out a bit of the south side of town to help with the kind of sky high goal of getting my caches within 80km of home down to within 1 pocket query - required about 231 more finds as of this morning, but looks like the final find count for today was 53!! And that was over the course of about 7 hours. So made a bit of a dent in that number!! Good to clear the map and some more of the solved & unfound puzzles out!

After clearing almost all of old Tai Tap Rd out, mum & I had some solved and unfound caches on the list between us that were semi nearby, so we decided to make a dent in them, finding other caches in the area while we were at it - but letting the solved & unfound dictate our route!!

These 4 new caches were so close together, and sounded like a good thing to do after finding a puzzle in Templeton! All were pretty quickly and easily spotted - thanks heaps! Smile

Consec caching day # 1408

TFTC!! Smile

11-Sep-16
Took a bit of looking. We really pleased that the cache was not in the flax!!

A lovely day for a drive into the countryside and for lunch and a cache or 15. A nice birthday present for me!!!

Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

06-Sep-16
What a lovely park and an excellent hide. I put some swaps in and took one of yours. TFTC Cool

06-Sep-16
It was very dark in there and quite spooky, so it was quite hard to see. We looked and looked and there it was slightly disguised. Thank you for a fun cache. What a big park.

06-Sep-16
Monday Mad Mission was postponed by a day as I had non caching duties to perform last night. So it was a Tuesday Terrestrial Tirade with TG. We headed out in this blustery evening with stars blazing and by the time we headed home some 4.5 hours later and some 180km+ later it was overcast, smokey and drizzly. Ah Spring, I think tomorrow they are forecasting snow! Good times were had and mental faculties were stimulated and rejuvenated. Plus a fair few caches under my belt as TG had found the bulk of tonight's finds.
In the area, quick walk and find.

Thanks for the cache TBrownies.

**FTF**
If I'd spotted these earlier I would have detoured on the way in to work...as it was; morning tea adventure was good enough. Lovely sunny morning. After being a suspicious dude and DNFing the cache at Royden Drive I popped around here. Nice big reserve! My delay at Royden gave the young mum with pushchair that I had said Hi to at Trip Trap a chance to walk her way around to this reserve....oh dear....ah oh - I think I got the 'weirdo' tag?! LOL....ooooh well. She parked up on a seat halfway along in the sun to do motherly things and I snuck in the end and sat in the shade....and ducked in for a quick find and sign. Nice one! Thanks for the wee series. Most fun.

02-Sep-16
The young Brownies must be having fun setting up these caches. We managed to find this one out of the 3 listed this morning. Thanks Brownies you are keeping a couple of oldies on their toes. TFTC
