I'd just ignore it but for the sake of animal welfare, the previous comments that the log is mush, and the inactive CO, I think this should just go.
Didn't bother looking too hard (This is my second attempt). The poor dog was going to injure itself throwing itself against the fence. I'm logging this in the car across the road and it's still going nuts.
With so many places it could be and no hint it's going to be unfair on the dog to keep looking.
I won't be back.

I am from Nelson and I was visiting my brother who lives nearby and today I just needed one geocache to keep my streak going. I thought I would come and look for this cache. My phone was being a bit tricky and it was not wanting to settle down so it was sending me all around the place. I had a look around the stump, and along the fence but I could not find it easily. I went back to the car and read through some of the old logs, and I found one that indicated where I needed to search. So I went back and searched properly and then I found it really quickly. I was pleased to have found your cache, thank you for placing this one for us to find.
No chance signing the logbook and no spare paper with us. The dog was barking mad - this cache should be archived or moved just for animal welfare. Thanks God it was a quick find, but it was not good to have the dog jumping against the fence all the time.
No luck for me today. Very exposed GZ (even with permission stealth would be required due neighbours). Many similar things it could be behind/under. Dog barking, car washing muggle down the road watching, and wife waiting in the car. Unfortunately I could sense my search becoming a little frantic and I didn't want to trash the garden (as often happens with this type of hide) so I beat a hasty retreat with nothing but itchy arms to show for it.
Crikey this was difficult, and we nearly didn't stop as the neighbours were hopping in and out of their Caravan...But persistence paid off after spending awhile walking back and fourth as we were by now determind to find it.. We now think that they didn't notice us....Nice to have it off our list.TFTH
Didn't have the best of looks - there were muggles just over the fence and I didn't want them to hear my awkward rustling.
JD and I were out on a mission to have our biggest caching day so far and we accomplished it by finding 126 caches in a day! We signed the log as Jeje. It took a wee search to find this one. Luckily it was really early on a Saturday morning so there were no neighbours (or dogs) around. Tftc.
Today Injeanious and I started early and left home at 7am aiming to complete our biggest geocaching day ever. We started in Templeton before heading to Thompson Track and Rangiora. Altogether we found 126 caches in 14 hours. We had maybe 3 DNFs all day so felt very successful, although very tired.
Thanks to all the cache owners for helping us with our great day!
Sorry for the cut and paste logs but there were too many caches to log individually.
We signed our logs as JeJe to save time and space.

Dog drew attention to us retreated to the car and read logs and re read the description.... nope not for me today.... thats for the challenge Templeton Brownies
Between the barking dog and the neighbours opposite the GZ being out in the garden I didn't attempt this one.
Persistence paid off! I was reluctant to even attempt it given the history, I arrived before 7am and I still felt exposed - despite there being no one around... but after reading back through the logs I picked up on a few things and managed to stumble upon the cache. Picked up a very appropriately named trackable!
Feedback: Try avoid indiscriminate areas of grass, and don't underestimate the power of a good hint . TFTC (3334)

In Christchurch on a work visit. I had a bit of spare time to myself today so headed off to find some caches.
Many thanks to the Brownies for setting up these caches - although I did have mixed results in my searches. I couldn't find this one. Unfortunately the noisy dog was quite off putting.

TFTC awesome job, last time my daughter couldnt find this. Got to meet the dog when replacing. Placed TB
Was a but nervous here having read the logs, but widened the search and it was ok. Grass = prickly!
7480. A nice easy cache in a pleasant area. We were out for a Labour Day holiday drive in the Rolleston/Templeton area. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
No dogs around this morning so we had a quiet and quick find. Thank you Brownies. TFTC
not such a great one..
very open hide and the dog is barking all the time.
but still a cache is a cache

This was a quick find for us today, although the hiding location is very exposed. We have a container just like this at home that we will turn in to a cache when we find the right place to hide it. Thanks again TBrownies for hiding all these caches in the area for us to find.
#13136. Our first search was unsuccessful. GZ was exposed, and yappy dogs were just over the fence. We carried on to the Trip Trap cache, and after finding that I had the bright idea of phoning a friend. Luckily the friend I phoned remembered where he found the cache (in the tussocky grass at the base of the fence). We returned for another look. The dogs were still yappy, but we just had to go for it and I was pleased to quickly find the cache.
StreetWalker and I set off after dinner to find some caches in Templeton. We had cached out this area a few months back, but there were now 4 new TBrownies' caches to find.
We had looked for this cache earlier, but had been driven away by the incessant barking of the resident dog and the exposed nature of GZ. After a PAF to confirm the cache's location, we returned after finding Trip Trap and StreetWalker made a quick find (I like to keep away from grasses at this time of year, so was happy not to search).
Not one of the better ones today, sorry to say, TBrownies. With co-ords being so well out, and the location being so exposed, a hint is definitely needed. TFTC.

Out and about with Monson.clan. This was our 4th find of the morning- took a few minutes to zero in on it. Great work people- thanks for your effort
Thanks for the Hide, nice we spot, found with Warfi on a trip to templeton. Great work, keep hiding them and we will keep coming.
Hi Templeton Brownies., thank you placing this cache. I got a bit of a fright when the dog next door came over and barked at me through the fence. I wasn't sure whether I should search for the cache or not. So I went and sat on the nearby tree stump seat until the dog stopped barking. Then, while it was quite, I went and retrieved the cache and then sat back on the stump seat to sign the log. Signed BaldEd
TFTC. Plan to go and look for a few newish Brownie caches.
I felt pretty explosed at GZ, however coords were accurate. Just needed to walk the line and use my eyes.
Thanks to the Templeton Brownies for placing this cache for others to enjoy.

Daughter twisted my arm, and I decided to ditch work for the day and go caching with her instead! Unfortunately I could not disappear for the whole day, as there was a night class to be taught, but we had an amazing day and found heaps of caches before I had to head back. I climbed under so many hedges that even halfway through class, I was removing vegetation from myself. Still better than when I brought a spider into the yoga room and cause a small upheaval... One of the funniest experiences of the day? When I managed to climb out of the hedge well before the muggle walked past, but I was sitting there on the ground by the path, with an open semi-ripe plastic tomato, pretending like it was just another day Thank you to all the CO's for the placements!!

Planned to go out with mum for a whole bunch of caching for the day - try clear out a bit of the south side of town to help with the kind of sky high goal of getting my caches within 80km of home down to within 1 pocket query - required about 231 more finds as of this morning, but looks like the final find count for today was 53!! And that was over the course of about 7 hours. So made a bit of a dent in that number!! Good to clear the map and some more of the solved & unfound puzzles out!
After clearing almost all of old Tai Tap Rd out, mum & I had some solved and unfound caches on the list between us that were semi nearby, so we decided to make a dent in them, finding other caches in the area while we were at it - but letting the solved & unfound dictate our route!!
These 4 new caches were so close together, and sounded like a good thing to do after finding a puzzle in Templeton! All were pretty quickly and easily spotted - thanks heaps!

A very easy find although well hidden. The BIG problem is the very protective dog in the adjoining property. I had a few swaps to exchange but the dog put all that away. The owners might be aware but the neighbourhood might not be so knowing, the dog barks long and loud! I was so glad to get away from there! Is it at all possible to replace this? TFTC though
Monday evening was busy so TheWanglers and I headed out for some Tuesday night caching fun.
After a thoroughly fun night zooming around the backblocks picking up all the Glossary of Geocaching puzzles for TW we headed home via the main road.....and stopped past this one for another look. Nighttime giving a bit more cover from prying eyes (although you can look even more dodgier if spotted!)....surprisingly quick to hand. I'm pretty sure I checked there last time?!...ah well, nice to sign it off this time. Thanks for the wee series in the area. Cheers.

Monday Mad Mission was postponed by a day as I had non caching duties to perform last night. So it was a Tuesday Terrestrial Tirade with TG. We headed out in this blustery evening with stars blazing and by the time we headed home some 4.5 hours later and some 180km+ later it was overcast, smokey and drizzly. Ah Spring, I think tomorrow they are forecasting snow! Good times were had and mental faculties were stimulated and rejuvenated. Plus a fair few caches under my belt as TG had found the bulk of tonight's finds.
Better at 11.20pm, not too many onlookers and dog is sleeping.
Thanks for the cache TBrownies.

Awesome find but tricky to find found the cache after a hunt around . great hide well done
Even knowing permission was gained felt exposed and a bit of a suspicious dude poking around here. Had a wee peek behind stump and a couple random spots alongthe fence/ grasses (careful not to thrash them)...didnt turn up the cache. Moved on before i aroused too much worry.
Like Team Gaters we were rather reluctant to venture any closer. May try again some other time. A good series keep up the good work.
