On our way home now after an afternoon caching to find some of the 12 Days of Caching series and picking up one or two more caches along the way.
Managed to find a small area to sign my name in the already full log sheet. Methinks this one might get archived before too long unless the COs show some interest in it. Nice area though,TFTC.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

After staying at Bunjil Lookout last night n spending along day, with sharkiefan, in the bush around Steiglitz hunting down Cludo and Star Wars themed caches, the odd other in the area and a quick flying run into Geelong for a Virtual and attending the Geelong Annual Christmas Dinner at Lara.
It was time for me to head home.
The drive did take a little longer than it should have as, my parents, Tyred n Cranky have told me about this little group of caches here, and it was a 20odd k detour from thr direct route home.
Being dark and going on a back track made for a great little solo adventure and well worth the detour.
An interesting way to end out a great n memorable day.

Out and about with Bogonghazy and geodog Tess for a days caching around the Bannockburn and Inverleigh area.
Searched for a while and after reading the logs, as others have said, it is about 10m out in the opposite direction. Thanks for the cache

Only little water was flowing in the creek, but the wind was blowing into the face. This is a lovely area that we would like to come back to with time on our hands, nice weather and a picnic somewhere along this route. Thanks for luring us here!
Out caching trying to find a few more to get to 100z found after a quick search. Tftc
We're out hunting for the last hidden creature. This quite dirt road looks like a good place to search! Thanks

After spending the Long Weekend down in Anglesea/Torquay area to take Geodog Penny back to the beach, finish off the G2Anglesea trail and grab a few others along the way, we are heading for home.
We left early so that we could grab the nine caches around this circuit. This was the ninth and final one on the list and again like most of the others around this trail was quick find. Log signed, and on our way home we went. Penny liked this trail as she had lots of running around at each cache find as the road/track wasn't busy. Now we have one tired dog who will sleep most of the way home - only two and half hours to go.

I went one way, found nothing and Square_Pegs ventured the other way and found something! Yep, its the cache. Thanks Lacinta, Rebel Llama and Poppet_93.
This is a nice winding little road, and after arriving at GZ, we discovered we needed to expand our search area to find the hide. There was a rooster that could be heard nearby somewhere as we signed the log, no need for an alarm clock here.
Thanks to Lacinta for placing this cache.

Like previous loggers we found the cache on the opposite side of the road to where our GPS was telling us GZ was. It did not take us long to find the well hidden cache in a great little spot where cachers may expect to find it - we could hear the chooks nearby enjoying the day too!

Today I headed out on another road trip, this time a bit of a loop around through Geelong and Inverleigh and then up to Ballarat for the Giff Event.
My main targets on this run were Letterbox Hybrid and Large caches.
Even though this one wasn't a target as I was passing by I decided to stop for a look a short time later I was signing the log.

A friendly spot to place a nano. Sometimes it can be ages in places like this. The chooks nearby offered some encouragement as we signed the log. TFTC
Out and about on a chilly afternoon finding some local caches. I though it was about time to collect some of the caches along the loop. Quick find. TFTC.
Our last day in the area before we head back to Tassie. Heading to Meredith to drop off the muggle mum/mum-in-law at a meeting place where my sisters will then return her to her home in Maryborough. This one caused us some problems as we were looking on the wrong side of the road. After reading some logs we realised the coords were out and once we ignored the GPS we found the cache.

The first of 2 Bannockburn 'loops'. Each cache was found pretty quickly, there were no other cars on the road today. Co-ords seem to be off, the geo trail is on the other side of the road. I had to look through the past logs to work out where I had to look. Happy Easter to all! Thanks to all of the cache owners for making this cool trail.

Found today at 1200 on our way to Lal Lal to find a few caches up there. Took longer than it should as the GPS had a 9 metres west of the cache, found the micro on the obvious spot.
I know you replaced it but I had no joy here today. I checked both sides and walked up and down. Better luck next time.
Thanks for the hunt Lacinta

I had a big fat DNF on this one. There seemed to be one obvious place but no matter how many times I checked it I could not find it. I checked a number of other spots too, to no avail.
The water had been flowing recently but the crossing was essentially dry today so no problems negotiating this one. Cache where expected THANKS Lacinta
It was a nice day to be out scouting around the countryside, my favourite type of geocaching.
Nice easy one with not a soul in sight.

Holiday time usually means, friends, food and fun! Today we headed north west from Geelong, where we found a smorgasboard of cleverly designed, well constructed and maintained caches. Thank you to all the CO's for satisfying our addiction today!
Considering the hot and windy weather today we were very happy not to be pedalling! There was definitely no water flowing.
Satellites today had our GZ 9 metres north of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to Lacinta for placing caches on the loop.

Found by Mary & David at 1410. No water flowing today, but lovely gum trees to enjoy. Quite amazed to see how dry the grass has become already. A quick find. Our thanks to Lacinta.
We enjoyed a family Birthday get together in Teesdale today and what better way to finish off the day than to claim a few smilies around the area. Not sure about water flowing but there certainly wwas plenty of long grass swaying in the wind
Thanks Lacinta for the placement.

We are doing this loop in the car as our cycling legs are retired.... Geohubby... Had this in hand by the time I got out of the car....
And on the Seventh day of my geocaching holiday I reached 7000 finds! I thought today would have ben a bit more relaxing, but since I had ran out of power trail caches (only 14 of them today) I had to travel around a fair bit. Inverleigh, Teesdale, Bannockburn, Lake Conneware and the last bit of the G2Q trail to find the last 62 caches.
And the big buld up to my milestone find was a let down as I found out from a recent log that the cache was missing! So I had to make another descision on what cache it would be.
In the end I had time on my bike and lots of airconditioned car driving to make the trip easier.
Thanks for all the caches!

I arrived home from work tonight and was greeted with with a kiss from Sims_family mum and a decision to make. Have dinner then go for a cache because we needed on for the day to fill a space on our calendar. Go out together and then have dinner or she gets dinner organized while I get the cache for the day. I opted for go together we were also accompanied by miss 10 and miss 6.
So a quick dash out here it was and when we arrived at GZ miss 10 and Sims_family mum were out of the car and had the cache even before I had my GPS set up for the cache. It was Miss10's keen eyes even in fading light that spotted it so quickly.
Thank you Lacinta for the cache and series which is keeping us going on filling days on our calendar. The unfortunate thing is we are starting to run out of caches in the loop. Oh well we will just have to go a little further when that happens

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area with mcsee&petal today. We were quite impressed on the way here to see a chook farm with actual free range chooks, out in the open air. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
In the district to pick up a few local caches and managed a quick easy find here. We were in 4WD's so the road was no problem to us.
Thanks Lacinta for this placement.
Out this way today to do the loop but by 4x4 instead because mainly the wind and all the recent rain.
I needed to find a cache today to complete my second round of the 366 day challenge, not there yet but getting close.
Started at the Ballarat Line cache and worked my way in a circle finding all caches in the series with no DNF's.
Puddles Rd is a great name for that back Rd as it sure has plenty of puddles today and some are very deep but the Pajero (White Beast) had no problems.
This guy was quickly located and signed.
Thanks lacinta for placing this cache.

Not too much water flowing today but there definitely has been very recently. Thanks for the hide, great series.
Here we are on another Sunday afternoon caching trip. Having spotted these hides on the map, we decided to head out this way. This was a nice quite area, just the way I like it. We hadn't travelled this particular area before, so that was a bonus. The recent rain made a mess of the tracks, but the Navara had a ball in the mud. Thanks for placing this cache. TFTC Lacinta
A meeting in Geelong today had me make the trek down the long (rather crappy) road from Ballarat. A little spare time on my hands so I had to grab a quick cache or two! Another quick find - some lovely properties around here. Many thanks
Phone GPS had me on the wrong side of the road, the geomonkey had this one in the bag though, didn't even use the map, just her experiences in the past! And she came up with the goods! TFTC
Suscoe decided to enjoy The Loop today, however we decided against the two wheeled approach and let the 4 wheels do the travelling.
Haven't travelled these roads and lanes before and so we enjoyed the cruise through the countryside.
Great to see everything looking green and gold with the canola crops flowering so beautifully.
Hope the harvest goes well for the locals!!
Thanks to Lacinta for this hide.
While signing this one the sounds of 774 came across the paddocks from a local working on the other side of the creek.
Must have the volume up full bore we reckoned!!!!
