Quick find while minion 2yrs had a ride on the train (old tractor), we had to carry him back to the car crying for more "drive train".
A place we usually just drive through today we decided to look around town a bit. TFTC
Lots of activity going on today in this great little country town. Started looking for the cache, can't believe we some how missed it at first, we were looking in harder spots. TFTC
Nice description and interesting about rusty trees. Wow. Signed the log as EV. Thanks
Nice early chilly. Can't believe I missed this on the first sweep. Finally found, now to get the log out with frozen fingers, all good, log signed on our way to Newcastle.
After travelling from Newcastle to do the Burning Mountain walk, I thought I would drive a little further to grab some caches. Quick find. Visited a TB. TFTC
(A trip from Sydney to Manilla and return for the funeral of my brother-in-law. An impressive turn-out with 80+ Rural Fire Service officers and some SES and police forming an honour guard. No excessive shows of grief just good stories and 'taking the mickey' out of the deceased as he would have liked.
The 20 finds and 3 DNFs on this day are dedicated to him and his contributions to family and community. Vale Merv.) Preceding the finds was a good night at a Singleton hotel watching the cockroaches smash the toads 28-4 in SofO I.
The signal said go to the field gun but the description indicated the other object. Placed my hand on it in first pass around 7am.

Mr Beetle found this one very quickly but didn't let me know so I was still searching for quite a while before I saw the stupid grin on his face!!!
Needed to go to the van and get the tweezers to get the log sheet out though, all Mr Beetle's normal methods didn't work with this one.
Thanks, a hide type we've found many times before but still a good one.

6507 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1100. This did take a while to find as there are 2 sides to this feature, and you guessed it baby searched the wrong side first. Once corrected it was in hand very quickly. SL Tnx Pest Watch
Not our day today. Like 'em when I find 'em on these but hate 'em when I don't. Even got down and dirty but no luck.
Heading to Toowoomba for Christmas and took a break here in this nice shady spot on a hot day. Needed eyebrow tweezers to extract the log. TFTC
Tried the usual spots, but I guess the camo was just too good!. Thanks for the driving break though

After spending several months house sitting around the Central Coast, Sydney and Bateman's Bay it is time to head back to Queensland.
A bit of searching before feeling this cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Seeing two DNFs we were apprehensive. However , found quickly with clues given. Did not sign log as we needed retrieval tool (tweezers) TFTC
DNF. Had our second search but still coming up empty handed. Hope it's still here. Will keep checking.
TFTC and for the reminder to stay vigilant for seeds and dust on the Motorhome as we travel this country. We are coed at the caravan park so we were not about to do a 3k return walk without reward. We checked and checked. After a while we sat and contemplated. Then Hans walked up to the item and had his hand on it in no time. Sure we checked but never mind SL and returned to it resting place.
A great idea to get an environmental issue out through a cache but a bit disappointing to not find it.....so we're back!
Arriving at the park and, ye gods!! markets! Well that just upped the D rating but we weren't coming this far to be put off by muggles.....besides a FTF was at stake! Our GPS took us to one of three things and there wasn't a spot there we hadn't searched numerous times yesterday. Today we went to the next nearest place.....and this one had even more hides but within the first minute we had the cache. {FTF} and a sigh of relief at 9.46am. [^]
Now it seemed a pity to waste another opportunity so we didn't.....back to those marvellous scones and cream nearby we went......purely celebratory of course! TFTC Pest Watch.

Unfortunately no find for us. A pity we didn't get back for another look, think we might have had more luck in another search. Thanks anyway Pest Watch.
