What a nice park! I've lived just over the other side of stock road for 4 years and didnt even know it existed. Found the cache and took the penguin tb that is trying to get to Antarctica. Not sure how its going to manage that but we will see what happens. TFTC.
Heading down to freo today so called in to find this cache and clean up this part of the geomap. Beautiful park and bushland without the need to bush bash. Wonderful. Dropped off TB .

Amazing find, thank you so much for the hunt. Quite difficult to find but in the end a good little scavenger hunt.
Found it! First cache for us 6. Great hide for first timers great to be back in Samson park after living here many years ago. Thanks for the hide. Left note didn't take or leave anything. Re hide Nicly.
Wow, Van Diemen, what a cache. This one must be quite new. We wish we had a few trinkets to leave as this one certainly deserved it. Thanks for bringing us to this special area.
Quick find today as I was passing through the area. Nobody in the bushland today so that was good. Thanks for the cache.
My first cache for the year, beautiful patch of native bush, wandering about i read about the frequent fires lit by unscrupulous people which has put a huge tole on the regeneration of it.
Thanks for hiding Van Diemen
Took:nothing
Left: TB elk from flekkefjord (funny little character)

I had to run some errands in the area and had time to call in and grab this one. My grandmother used to live around here about 60 or 70 years ago when the area was known as Melville Camp. It was a lovely day to make a quick grab Grabbed the TB

Found Native Bushland in Sir Frederick Samson Park. Cache is solid enough to hold TBs. TN left Globetrotter - svenson26 TB SL TFTH Van_Diemen.
We enjoyed our leisurely stroll through this fantastic parkland to GZ.
Loved the container so we added our 2bob's worth. Thanks Van Diemen for a nice clean cache.

Fanastic bush hideaway with plentiful trails. There is an active beehive above the cache, but is not fiesty. Spoke to a bee keeper who was moving a swarm to a new home & he suggested they are only likely to be aggressive if disturbed.
May be best to stay away if you have bee allergies though.

Checked on the cache.
In good order.
Removed some rubbish, put some good stuff in.
People had warned of a bee's nest, saw it for the first time.
Very close to the cache, bee careful.
Bees most active in hot sun, best to visit in late afternoon or evening.
It will keep muggles away ha.
Might have to suspend this cache if anyone gets stung, take care.

Great find. Not to difficult for my 4yo daughter. Great day to be outside. Beware, at least the bees are not nasty.
Enticed geobuddy Mark to come out caching today, this time heading northwards instead of our usual south via a certain cheese factory (Harvey - you just can't beat their OMG). Can't have everything I guess. Another great little piece of bushland hidden in suburbia. Thanks for bringing us here Van Diemen
It was a great find.
Very good case not flooded
Good stuff left in container
Nice warm day.

Headed out with the hubby to grab a few caches this morning. After a short walk we soon found the big tree. We were glad of a quick find as the tree has a couple of bee hives in it and they were buzzing everywhere TFTC Van Diemen
A nice and easy find to start off this lovely day! Out with a group of three and it was awesome fun finding the cache! We were scared about the bees, but they didn't seem to care much. We traded some goodies and replaced the cache as found. T4TC & T4TH Van_Diemen!!!!
Wow! I raced here from Wanneroo after work on the train to find a FTF log so that would make me STF!!
I placed some treasures,
(A Corona bottle cap, A smilie badge and a large bottle opener to compliment the Guinness tag that was sitting in the cache).
I also recovered Buzz and Woody TB (1MZN2K), they are in safe hands for now and will help the little fellas out on thier journey, I hope to drop them in my 420th cache along with Yoshi, Luigi and Mario.
