A good amount of searching and we found it ..! Cool swaps - check the bottom containment, it has two lids ..
i can understand placing caches in this rotten stuff so muggles won't get them, but its horrible for us good people too, tftc
The hole was hard to miss! Thanks for the quick find on our way to Beachlands today .

Find number 7844. Up to attend the mega so grabbing a few caches before. Initially went to the wrong place before trusting the GPS and then soon had the log signed. Thank you for the placement.
Went to help KR but the cache was pretty obvious today, compared to 3 years earlier. My fave bus shelter memory is waiting for the high school bus in a UK winter. It was so late one day because of the snow. Over breakfast Helen Shapiro had been singing 'Today has been cancelled' so I thought stuff that and went home for the day. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. I really must have been blind last time here as this was verry straight forward!
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we did a little cruising around to the East and south of Auckland..
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Another pleasant find as I followed Mr P on his biking adventure. TO honest I would rather cache than face those demon drivers on these roads on a bike. T4tc
There was SOOOOO much rubbish dumped behind the shelter I was concerned but luckily it's placed away a bit. Typical there was a linesman fiddling with a lecky box just up the way but he cared not one jot what I was doing. All good and replaced as was.
My original aims for today were quite lofty, and not really achievable but one can dream eh? I planned to get the last missing aspect of the Virtually anywhere in Auckland at Waitawa Regional Park, go up to the top of the Clevedon walkway to the lookout to complete the Adv Lab there, do the Duder Regional Park walkways and get 'all' (lol) of the Maraetai caches. Well that was a mission too far and I willingly dialled back the targets as the day progressed. As it was I managed over 20 caches and had a great day so that was awesome. Thanks to all COs for their caches.

Someone didn't do up the lid properly and ants had made their home in this cache.. funnily enough I took it back to my vehicle to mark it off and place a tradable inside and got covered in ant eggs.. lol.
Cleaned cache of ants.

I put a new log into this one - as it was missing
Taking the Scenic Route back, all hides were nice straight forward finds.

Another nice day of cashing for the Hidden creatures challenge. I really like this scenic route series, the caches are creative, there was put much effort in their camouflage and they can be found easily, which is just nice. . I enjoyed it very much. Nice idea to hide the log, nice sized cache. I was looking at the wrong place first until I understood the hint. TFTC
Hidden creatures challenge... ACCEPTED. Found together with Greenkiwikids and Pyphant. TFTC
Have diven past this location many times this past year, and today having some spare time between appointments and needing a few cache finds to unlock some souviners, decidd to stop and take a look for this one.... given the time of day the traffic was at a low flow rate so managed to park beside GZ.
The cache is all good.

We understood from the hint where this one would be... Thanks.

On an early morning caching mission, 2 of the clan hatched a plan to make an early morning trip north and to find enough caches to qualify for the Planetary Pursuit. Careful planning was made and we had a very enjoyable hunting out the caches. Thanks also go out to all the cache owners who have placed and maintained the caches.
An afternoon of driving and geocaching. Quick find. picking up a few points for galactic souvenirs.
Doubled back from Brookby with data coordinates. Godfreyh found sign and hole, and cache. Impressed with sign, as it is work related, just hope I don't have to use this hole in the near future!!!!. Quickly signed log, adn moved on southwards, as I show Godreyh the back road between Howick and Papakura, TFTC
Did some drive-by caching this afternoon together with Doandhopers.
Quick Easy Find.
logs mostly signed as D+H & GH.
Thanks for setting the series for us.

Decided to get out and grab some drive by caches as it was such miserable weather but we wanted to go out somewhere.
Parked close by and found the item in the hint. Also found the BIG hope, some prickly bush and the cache!
Thanks for the cache.

Doing a quick maintenance run of some of this series today. Cache a little damp, so I dried it out and added a fresh log. Happy caching!
Out and about for a spot of cache detection today. The wet weather has stayed away so far. Found a spot to park just up the road and made the short walk back to GZ. Watch out for the hole is right! Can you say "it's a trap"... anyway, no issue making the find here nor signing the log. Cheers for the cache placement!
Such a busy day yesterday so today is the day that I need to get out and make some finds or my buddies on my friend league will make me walk the plank . . . . . so I got into my seaworthy vehicle and made my way to the hidey place . . . . . . . pulled into the port of call and soon made the find . . . . . . . . . . had to navigate the water in the container . . . . . left a new dry log sheet and let the old one there . . . . . signed, rehid and then boarded my vessel to move on to another port for another find . . . . . .
My phone had me looking in the wrong spot initially but then I took another look and it suggested I had not been paying attention so walked a bit further on and found the tell-tale hiding location. Quick find after that. Interesting cache container, good way to do the log and swag. Picked up the travel bug that we found in the cache, that was a nice surprise. All good here, thanks for the cache.
A nice quick park and grab on our way to Clevdedon Scenic Reserve. Dropped off TB
Merlot58, Aiden29 and ourselves headed out to the east again today to go and find some rural caches and catch up with Pazzabella and Geocchi to capture some caches in a Clevedon Reserve. A quick park and grab as we drove past.
A cache for a dot day. Would love to say it was a quick find but we needed to ring the CO for assistance. Pleased to find it in the end with darthcacher1 and purply.
out and about New Zealand with Red Roaming, unfortunately we don't have too many days left now. We are visiting friends in Howick and today we have decided to go to Clevedon and caching on the way. Logs signed DD & RR or with our full caching names
apologies for the lateness in my logging.
another one found with no problems. I am enjoying this little series of drive bys

Travelling around the world with Dartmoor Deliverer celebrating her taking early retirement!
NB Dont forget our Devon UK Mega 2017 GC6JZNY this August in the beautiful East Devon area of our county. UK Megas are over one week full of events and geocaching - a wonderful way to enjoy our county!

I parked up right outside the bus stop, it was pouring with rain so after getting out of the car rather quickly I took shelter in the bus stop and started my search, then not finding anything, I looked in the other one... still not finding the cache I wondered to myself... what's going on here? So just as a last minute resort, I decided to read the description didn't I! Well, would you look at that! The cache wasn't here at all.... derrrhhh. So then I went up the hill a bit and found the cache, the hint made sense then hah hah hah!
Parked in front of the bus stop and walked back to GZ. Cache quickly located and another TB picked up. TFTC!
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
This was one of eleven I needed for today.
In: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

Why two shelters? Lots of travellers?
Took one TB and left another.

With a few hours to spare today before I had to head for the airport and home, I decided to head for this part of the countryside and find a few caches. After a walk around the Clevedon Scenic Reserve, I headed back on the road for a Scenic drive. Kind of started this series in the middle, headed to the beginning and then back to the end. Coordinates good so a quick find here. TFTC, Biggles.
Thanks again NewlynFam....
Nice and easy with the hint !
Have never seen a bus stop quite like it !

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Short term goal: reach milestone 6000th find... It' all about the numbers, baby!
We haven't cached in South Auckland for a while, and the hide numbers have built up dramatically... Just when you think you've got the geomap looking tidy-ish, there is a mass explosion of caches. This Scenic Route series is one of those that caught our attention...
This one required some thought... It wasn't placed where or how we expected. We searched one object before closing in... TFTC.

3.55pm -Today was a numbers day for us with hopefully most of them being drive by caches.
I worked out a route plan, met the Squirrel at Te Poi and made South Auckland our target.
Many interesting array of finds and tasks to collect caches with the odd one not a drive by. SLTFTC

Another year and the first trip for the team out and about while none of us had to work the following day. So todays little jaunt was to be up and arounf the Clevedon Maretai areas to see what we could get before sleep took hold of us. On this adventure in attenence were HKCB, iammrwalker and RWIMF. Departing Hamilton at 7pm after doing the pickups it was with high spirits and high expectations for another good caching year with plenty of miles to be covered before returning home tomorrow morning.
We hoped to get about 50 for the evening and my final taly was 57 finds along with 2 DNF's, not bad for a bunch of beginners.
What a great start, soon started to get into the swing of things and before long we were coolkng with gas.
THanks to all the cache owners whom placed the caches for us to find this evening. Am sure that we will be back again soon to continue our travels

I received a phone call about 2pm asking what I was doing in the evening. I said nothing, so the boys said "come caching!" So we did, leving Hamilton at 7pm to spend the evening picking up caches. This was my No53 of the evening. All logs signed RICH.
My hand now really hurts from the prickles from looking in the wrong place. Especially when the right place is now so obvious.
I like your container.

It's been a while since we have done a night mission, so with a few ideas thrown about we settled on heading to the Beachlands/Maraetai area for a bit of a clean out and to locate the two night caches in the area. The team consisted of RWIMF, iammrwalker, Cats&Dragons and myself (HKCB), which meant we signed the logs as RICH an accornym of our caching names.
Leavng home about 7pm we cached through the night, with the goal to reach my 7000th find, unfortunately the late night counting wasn't accurate enough which meant I was 1 short of that goal, but still 67 finds for the night wasn't a bad effort. We all had a great night, and found a handful of really good geocaches as well. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.

Found ... after a busy day at work, I knocked off mid afternoon & decided to take the scenic route home ... decided it would be rude not to pick up a few more of the 'Scenic Route' caches on the way ... traffic was very quiet, so nabbing the cache was both quick & easy ... the cache was easily found, the log completed & replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,472 for us.
