Archiving to free up the space- it has gone missing a couple of times now, so perhaps not the best spot.
Relatively quiet being midweek, so feel I got a good search in, but no cache found.
Found cache a while ago but hadn't a chance to log. Was lower than I was first looking but found it quick enough to not get seen. Tftc
Need a cache for my dot day, and left it to the last minute....well.....almost the last minute...11:12pm! Was able to get it quickly at that time of night, but there we still cars coming by every minute. The cache was lying there, I don't think the mag works now?
The GPS seemed to be a little off today so let geo-senses guide the way. After checking where I thought it should be I looked down and found it on the ground. The magnet on this one is missing so not where it should be. Left it tucked a little further behind. TFTC.
Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun
Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Picking up a few drive-bys after a big day out with TF. Nice quick find here. TFTC
Such a longgggggggggggggg day when you just want to find one cache for the souvenir and then after work pick up the little one and then Girl Guides from 6.30 to 8.30 . . . . . . .tick tock, tick tock, . . . . . off to find a cache . . . . . pulled up at GZ and the Chorus man is here (groan) . . . . . . so we drove up the road to see if we could get the next one and the neighbours were putting their trash out and lurking around having a smoke (GROAN!!!) back to The Corner Dairy . . . . . and the Chorus man was just packing up (WHOOP WHOOP) I raced across the road and made a quick find, hid behind and signed the log and raced back to the car and off home. TFTC
I like the artwork that often decorates these power boxes. Having a very long day caching today, will have 40 caches today - that's the plan, then 300 caches at the end of this month, see how I go.
Found on a damp day of doing some drive bys. There was a tool roll beside GZ but no one working on it. TFTC
Dragging What_Fibble around to some caches for his Duke of Edinburgh skill this afternoon. Loved the art work here. Quick find by Panda0505 before the rest of us had a chance. TFTC
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Out with LhutiNe to pick the required number up.
Cheers for the cache.

It was nearly dark and we just got home from an afterschool shopping expedition in the pouring rain when we realized it was a dot day - oh dear time to head out again. Thankfully the rain was the lightest it has been all evening so purply and Mrs HeMaLuDy got in the car and headed to a nearby cache we had been hoping to leave until later in the year. We were very pleased to make a quick find here and to head home to dry out.
Fun series of caches and I enjoyed the drive along finding some more of them.
Hot and thirsty work, stopped at the dairy for a nice cold drink.

No where near as accurate, but hints got me there.
Result in easy find.
Thanks for the cache

With a few hours to spare today before I had to head for the airport and home, I decided to head for this part of the countryside and find a few caches. After a walk around the Clevedon Scenic Reserve, I headed back on the road for a Scenic drive. Kind of started this series in the middle, headed to the beginning and then back to the end. I really enjoyed the variety of caches and hides in this series. Parked where I could, a little way off and wandered up to GZ. A quick look around and the cache was found. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice quick find, spent more time looking at all of the animals! Three left to do of the trail. TFTC.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Short term goal: reach milestone 6000th find... It' all about the numbers, baby!
We haven't cached in South Auckland for a while, and the hide numbers have built up dramatically... Just when you think you've got the geomap looking tidy-ish, there is a mass explosion of caches. This Scenic Route series is one of those that caught our attention...
The 17th edition of this series set the scene for us. So as we rounded the corner, we thought we knew where this was going to be... TFTC.

12.40pm -Today was a numbers day for us with hopefully most of them being drive by caches.
I worked out a route plan, met the Squirrel at Te Poi and made South Auckland our target.
Many interesting array of finds and tasks to collect caches with the odd one not a drive by. SLTFTC

Good to be back in my old hood as i grew up not that far from here. A nice quick find here in the most obvious location, TFTC!
Out caching in the area with Supernanny. What an amazing litle dairy, love it. Also loved gz. Nice cache to finush the day with.
Last one in area before heading back to Auckland !
Very quick park and grab here today ! Unusually shaped little dairy !
Thanks NewlynFam

Thought we would head out this way and grab a few caches for the day, tackling mostly GROTTY and these Scenic Route finds, but whatever else popped up along the way. Parked up at the dairy and made the quick stroll to the cache. Thanks for the hide.
Out and about today picking up more of the 'Scenic Route' series as part of my current geolicence This was a very quick spot once at GZ. Mr 4 liked the artwork on the surroundings TFTC!
After having a quick look for this cache when it was first published, and feeling ever self conscious hanging around after dark, I came back with Em Cee Kiwi walking the dear Geohounds. We soon had this spotted in the day light, but were unable to reach it due to high traffic volumes on the road . After persuading some junior geocachers to come with us (one was playing pokemon go while the other retrieved the cache), phew, cache was signed and returned. I made this a lot harder than it needed to be, but got there in the end. Tftc
Crusing5 & I found this last night while walking the geohounds but were unable to retrieve it due to muggles. Came back with the reinforcements of master 8 who did the retrieving and master 11 who provided the distraction of playing pokemon go. A great team effort. Signed log as c5mcksm733&l29508 to save space.
Our eighth find of the day as we neared the end of this Scenic Trail from Howick to Papakura.
We had purchased a drink to cover up our presence at the dairy beside the last cache so couldn't use that ploy again therefore just pretended to be going for a walk. After waiting for a man walking his dog to go past we quickly grabbed, signed and returned the cache without arousing any suspicion.
We triumphantly headed off to the final one in the series. TFTC.

There was a disabled car getting a jump from another right in front of the dairy, so I was happy that the cache was far enough away that I could find the cache unobserved. TFTC.
EIR-0T had just gone off to bed, Mrs stik-a-crane had was shopping and I had just started junior cachers dinner when the notification came out for this one.... when I saw how close it was to home I was beside myself with every cell phone sound causing a little skip of the heart as I was unable to hunt for this one..... Then another publication ...and even closer to home than this one...what to do... a quick call into Mrs stik-a-crane to find out how long she was going to be out resulted in knowing I had another 45min wait.....
I counted down the minutes and quickly unloaded the car of shopping when it arrived home and promptly advised Mrs stik-a-crane another FTF was up just around the corner, I'll see you shortly...
Arriving at GZ I knew exactly where this might be, and sure enough there it was...but was I first.... YEESSS.
