Found at 13:56A quick walk up this seldom used trail and I soon had the cache spotted. Thanks AngeliqueAnja for the cache
Thankyou for this creative little cache, driven past 100s of times and never knew it existed! Thankyou for taking us out of our way!
TFTC! 28 July 2024 6:09:12PM 8277 thanks to AngeliqueAnja for the cache! Once I found the right level, a quick find.
Heading across town to mind a cat over Easter... and took some time out along the way to chase out some caches in the less familiar (caching) territory of Monash LGA... all for a rather big challenge that I am working on. I finished my afternoon's hunt with three caches spread along Ferntree Gully Road... starting off with this one. After looking down from above I took on board the suggested parking location and found my way to the cache. To answer the question in the Description, the space is a drainage easement... Thanks **Team ZACAATT** for this cache.
Found it, very quick find but it was a little dark (night run) but not tricky to spot, not sure what this little path could be but a little creepy TFTC
I was worried as the last log was many months ago but we found it after 5mins of searching. TFTC
A bit of a weird detour and a little sketchy-looking, but a unique and challenging find nonetheless. TFTC!
Geokids and I didn’t see this one on the map and have been in the area for 18 months.
Trying to stop by a cache on way home from work each day. This was bit of detour but worth it. Great cache quite unique. Once I worked out how to get to it without a flying leap from above a quick find. TFTC
Looked in all the nooks and crannies but had a preconceived idea of what I was looking for, how wrong can I be.
Thanjs for this cache

This earns a fav point from us!! We searched in all the nooks and crannies and thought there was nowhere else for a cache to hide.. Super clever, first time we've seen a cache hidden in this manner. We loved it!!
Had to squeeze in a quick find inbetween classes to keep the streak going so I drove over to this cache.
I really like this one! Caches with the size marked as other are always interesting, and I particularly like the spot chosen for it, clearly some drains run underneath here.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

A full weekend of junior indoor hockey tournament brought us into the area. Needing a find for today, my daughter and I set off to find a cache. This came up as the nearest unfound and proved a little tricky to work out where to park the car to access the area. Once we found the right access point, we made a short walk along the unusual parcel of land here. Perhaps its an old disused water channel?
My daughter made light work of finding the cache.
Thank you for the cache here Team ZACAATT

A detour on my way to a Ben Harper concert on a sunny afternoon - I’m afraid I can’t explain what on earth this narrow segment of land is for! tftc
This is a strange space, I like this hide it conjures up a post apocalyptic hiding spot TFTC
Sunny Sunday the Second Stroll
Have to learn to comprehend what I read better. but I dont think that will happen at my age LOL.
Nice hide, not what I initially searched for.
Thanks Team ZACAATT

A nice easy find today .. the cache is safe and sound and the log dry .. thanks for placing the cache
I have driven past this several times but finally had the time to sneak in and sign the log from this little nook. TFTC
What a tricky cache! Definitely not minty fresh but minty thin.

Out and about with PrezDough today grabbing some caches in an area we haven’t been to before.
The cache wasn’t too hard to find and I wasn’t sure what I was chasing here. The dog in a neighbour’s house didn’t like us walking past.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.
TFTC.

Out and about with Echidna44, I was baffled by this cache. Up top or down below, that is the question. I used the hint and eventually came up with the goods. Simple but effective, I was glad that Echidna44 had already found this one and was able to give a bit of guidance, otherwise it would have taken much longer to find this chap.
Approached this one from the main road and realised pretty quickly that I needed to take a different route to GZ. Once at GZ, the cache was a pretty quick find. The outer container might need a little love though. Otherwise the log is still intact. TFTC!
Very interesting spot and had to take the stroller off road! I'm wondering if maybe a long time ago this was a lane used to deliver goods to the properties? TFTC!
Wasn't easy getting the pram to gz, but got there in the end and spotted the cache fairly quickly. TFTC
I have been trying to catch up on my logs during the current Covid lockdown so this log is a tiny bit late. I was passing by this cache after visiting a friend who lives nearby so I dropped by for a look. I parked in a nearby street but not knowing the area I walked up to Ferntree Gully Rd and started to look there even though my GPSr was reading that I was 10 m from GZ. I suddenly realised that not only was I in the wrong place but I was on the wrong level. When I was finally on the right level I found the cache after a brief search and signed the log at 5:45 pm. TNLN.
Thanks Team ZACAATT for the well-hidden cache that was not a minty tin. The lane to nowhere probably went somewhere many years ago before Ferntree Gully Rd was a multi-lane road.

Today we needed a cache to fill the only day on the caching calendar in the first six months without a cache. The weather was not good, raining pretty much all day, so we waited hoping it would improve as the day went on. We finally headed out late afternoon, and after parking the geomobile we took the short walk to GZ, although after all the rain it was a little wet under foot especially where the grass was a little longer. Just as Mrs Pooky spotted the hide the heavens opened again and the rain was getting heavier and heavier, so after a quick sign of the log book we high tailed it back to the car. Just glad they were not working on the new fence adjacent to GZ otherwise finding and signing the log may have been a whole lot more difficult. TFTC and bringing us to this spot, maybe an easement????
A half hour delay in the start of today's proceedings down the road gave me that little chunk of time I needed for a look for this one. Once I'd found my way to GZ at this somewhat curious location, I soon had the stash in hand at 09:55 (after a quick squiz at the hint that is ).
Hmmm, does anyone know a good fencing contactor?
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Team ZACAATT.

Today we found Not Minty Fresh 2: What For? on our travels. We have looked for this one before and found it today in one of the places we definitely checked very thoroughly last time. The GZ neighbor’s fence wasn’t practically on the ground last time... we kept waiting for someone’s face to appear at the window.
Thanks AngeliqueAnja for being part of our geocaching fun.

This one took me a while, but persistence paid off, a nice find on my walk home. TFTC!
Visiting the Monash Recycle Centre to rid the house of all the Christmas packing and boxes and noticed this cache nearby. 31st December so might as pick one up for the final of 2020. Took a little while of poking and prodding and lifting stones etc but it turned up finally. TFTC Team ZACAATT.
What a random strip of greenery and then rubbish at the end.
I’m glad the cache was found fairly quickly as I didn’t like poking around the broken glass.. although the wind has changed direction and I can hear beautiful Christmas carols being sung.. o come all ye faithful..
Thanks for putting out different types of caches and pointing out odd spots.

We made a bit of a mess of this one. Firstly we approached from the wrong altitude. Then after sneaking our way to the target we realised that we forgot to bring a pen. Finally on our third approach everything worked out correctly.
I don't think we've seen a container exactly like this before.
Thanks Team ZACAATT for giving us something to do.
Chiefton!!!

Odd little strip and quite disgusting with all the rubbish and what looks like the remains of a dead rat. Didn't spend much time looking here since it's so dirty.
Just on my way back from my brothers house and decided to finally check this one out as l have driven past here many times but never ducked in and checked it out. So l did today! Very wet under foot on the way in and the sun was setting fast so l was glad to make a quick stealthy find with this one. A very random spot indeed, thanks Team ZACAATT for the hide.
Find 1/3 just before dusk this afternoon, out riding with my geoson. We really enjoyed this trio of caches from Team ZACAATT, it was nice to see some unconventional containers.
What an odd little strip where this one was located, the road to nowhere! Definitely one of the thinnest hides I've seen. The fence nearby is about to fall, it was hanging at about 30 degrees from the ground. TNLNSL, TFTC.

Just managed to sign the log and get back to car before the rain started again.

Found this one with a buddy of mine after a short hike and a short search. The hint was very useful. TFYC
3 am but so what, only a little touch of geo madness! 5 hours to Melbs to see dear mum at Monash Emergency and now CT time for a snooze but then I checked the map! Perfect one to get at night...maybe. Definitely one to observe the “P” sign for best accessNo dogs a blessing and no muggles. Quick find using hint. TFTC
I couldn't pass up a dinner invite from Maestro2802 after two gruelling days landscaping my back yard. Little did he know dinner came with conditions - a quick find for my 3-2-1 challenge before we tuck in to his fabulous hat-worthy feast. So off we trotted. I found the cache location a little odd and for that I thoroughly enjoyed the find. TFTC ZACAATT
Made the fatal error of approaching GZ from Fern Tree Gully Road. Nothing for it but to scale down the wall for quick but not inconspicuous find. Having left the bike up on the footpath, it was even harder to climb back up the wall but a bit of dogged determination and a handy fence made it possible. T4TC!!!
On a drizzly morning bike ride I came across this space.
As I had to widen my caches from home to complete my calendar grid.
In the Dreamtime this was a small path going down to the creek. After settlement a track appeared to Ferntree Gully. Then a more substantial horse and cart path turning to a more established road leading out to the country Waverley area (bush).
Bitumen arrived. Monash Uni so Ferntree gully Road had to be expanded and reinforced leaving this blind ending green cache grotto. ! TFT team ZACAATT!

Clever hide and interesting area. Was nice and quite when we looked for the cache. Tftc
Firstly I was at the wrong spot but then clearly thought that I have to be somewhere where the CO would walk his dog . Thanks. Cool Cache
Today I went out to collect some of the 35 caches required to place the jewels in the vault for Mystery at the Museum.
I parked in the right place and entered the path. Quite a lot of rubbish here.
A bit of searching finally paid off, and I was signing the log. Thanks Team ZACAATT

This is an odd spot! I found a 'sign' about a walking loop, but this is hardly a loop.
Thanks for the opportunity to get a footprint in the current challenge.

Finally had a chance to get out last night and find some caches - it felt great to be back out after a few cache-less weeks. It was cold but it was dry and not windy - great caching conditions!
This was really fun (in a creepy way) venturing up this weird little gap in the middle of the night. Such a strange area! Only a few spots it could be and I located the not-mint-tin quite quickly. Thanks for the adventure!

On my way to the puzzle day and stopped to check this one out. Hmmm been here before and should have known I needed to use the back entrance. Interesting finding these back entrances. Nice easy find to the non minty . This could be a clean up a Australia project. Thanks for the cache AngeliqueAnja
Well, as the description says, it’s not the usual minty tin. This is a bit different to most I’ve found.
A short stroll up the green line soon had me at GZ. Now to search.
In some respects the location reminded me of one of my caches.
Thanks Team ZACAATT for the hunt and chase. The cache is in good order. SL TNLN.
The easement to me looks like it’s a storm water main pipe.

It was a long walk after lunch in the sun but I finally arrived the spot and found the cache. Very strange path but I guess it has something to do with the hole and the grid at the beginning. TftC
I always feel dodgy walking into areas such as this why would there be any need. So at least it is now being put to good use with a cache

Woot.
Found with +Wife, MuggleMatePam and the Geomutts.
A quick stop on our way to the event in the Latrobe Valley.
Not exactly a firsttofind but certainly the first one to discover the new container and log.
Added bonus of 327 {Unloved} days. [^]
What a quirky little area this is.
Pam took a minute to decipher my naming of this lane as "Honeypot Alley"
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache Team ZACAATT.

The new cache containers finally arrived! And this time they were the right ones! Have fun finding this one again!
I have ordered new cache containers from online and will relist this cache when they arrive! Thanks!

This cache keeps appearing on my Health Score follow-up listings apparently because of the DNF's it is scoring.
You may remember receiving one or more emails from GC Headquarters about it - see here: [**Geocache Health Score**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=search&q=Health&area=kb)
Based on logs, I see you last attended to the cache back on Sat Mar 10 2018 - 244 days ago. Thank you for your diligence.
Given that the DNF's are relatively recent - 6 of the last 10 logs, I am wondering if you have considered the suggestions outlined in the Help Centre article?
You might also like to consider if the cache correctly located or has is suffered 'cache creep'. Have you checked that the coordinates accurately indicate where the cache GZ actually is? Even a difference of 2m, when applied with a tolerance of 5m, can make a big difference to where seekers might be looking for your cache.
I will leave it up to you, but as it stands at the moment, the GCHQ geocache reports will continue to be generated, you will continue to get emails suggesting your cache is in need of attention and unless you respond, I will, unfortunately, have to disable the cache until it is checked.
Once you have checked on the cache you will need to log an Owner Maintenance log to remove the Needs Maintenance Attribute.
We came and looked for quite a while but with no joy.
With the number of dnfs it maybe time for a CO check

Followed the parking waypoint and discovered the cute greenway, but sadly no cache for me today . Nothing stood out.
Another time.
Another time.
Attacked this from the wrong approach at first. Then relocated myself and had a long look but no joy today
Searched around for some time and even with the hint could not find this one today
Needed a cache today I went and grabbed this one. Took me a while though as I wasn't sure where it was and the fact that cache guardians had done a good job at protecting it's location.

GZ was littered with debris, including broken glass. After embedding a nail in my shoe, had to call off the search. Was I somehow in the wrong place? (would be grateful for a hint )
Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was one of the last evenings I had so having finished work in Frankston I headed up the Eastlink to look for a few eastern suburbs caches that I hadn’t tried before. Heading back home in a meandering westerly direction I decided to try this one. I had looked at the map earlier in the day so I had a good idea where to park and how to approach it. An odd spot indeed (I assume some sort of drainage reserve) but all was quiet around as I approached GZ. Tricky little one so I was pleased to spot it quickly. My seventh of ten finds for the evening. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Team ZACAATT.
Arriving at what I thought was GZ, I realised that I had to shift my altitude. I rode around and found a way in what must be one of the main storm water drain paths. I looked and looked for quite a while and just before I was about to give up, I spotted something the hint suggested and I finally had the cache in hand. Yes, I am a little over mint tins too...but I do like eating them! Thanks for the cache.
Today was a busy day. i had my morning class after that. We went home and got ready to do the dreaded shopping. When we came home and unpacked and put away the grocheries. Angelique_Anja started preparing yummy things for Xmas. And i starded wrapping presents. With Zedaycee out for the day. We got alot done. Then we had a cache todo. But Angelique_Anja goes out in the evening so with little time i went for a cache close to home. One of Angelique_Anjas strange spot this is inbetween two houses I had the log soon in hand.
A quick and easy find find while we were in the area in a little green space we would never have known about if not for this cache. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
