Another 30 min punishment. I have since confirmed with a previous finder and suspect my total of almost an hour of searching have all been in vain. Owner check required here.
Found - TFTC! Dropped off my son & friend at an indoor soccer birthday party at Newmarket. Gave me a chance to find some geocaches I am not normally in the neighborhood of.
As we were as quick as lightning at the last cache we thought we would make another find before getting to Toowong.
We noticed a muggle watching us, so we waited for her to stop eye-balling us and to move on so that we could go in for the hunt. As we were near a train station she looked as though she wanted to pull out her phone and report suspicious activity.
We soon located the little hide and scribbled our names in.

Being close to the train station, I think it took longer to find a park than to track down the container this morning... I snuck a park in front of a property, but was possibly pushing my luck as there was a gate... Figuring I wouldn't be too long, I took the risk and moved in for a quick cache find once I hit GZ. [^]
Name quickly added to the log, I tucked it back as found and made my way very briskly to the car.
Cheers Hurnett.

After an early finish at wk after night shift I stopped of and grabbed this one on the way home quick and easy with a nice view of the city
What an adventure this cache turned out to be! I realised midway during this month that I was almost at 300 caches and also my 4th caching anniversary was approaching. Could I make the 300 milestone in time for my caching anniversary? I made an effort to get a few caches but got stuck at 295 after I had a string of DNFs and a cantankerous geoson who didn't want to be on my bike/geocache any longer. So the plan was to head to a nearby place and get the final 5 caches on the anniversary day, only cyclone Debbie had different ideas. Realising I was likely to get rained out of that plan, I headed out yesterday and got 4 caches leaving me at #299. This way I figured I could do a quick duck out even in drizzly weather and get the milestone #300 4 years after my first find.
When I woke the effects of cyclone Debbie had sure set in. What a miserable day! Definitely no riding my bike to get the cache, but I soooo wanted it! So I rugged up and got geoson all rugged up as well and in a sling and we began walking. Despite being a miserable soaking day it actually wasn't too bad a walk - I even happened upon a kind stranger who offered us a ride (who turned out to know my sister and recognised me!). However I decided that like geocaching, the walk was a bit of a metaphor. Sometimes you've got to slosh through the hard yards to get to that high of finding a cache. There would be no short cuts on the hunt for this cache today. I'm glad we turned down the lift too because geoson got to point out many a sight along the way. He loves bins at the moment and got super excited when he got to see a rubbish truck doing it's thing. We also got to see several trains passing by on our walk. We headed to GZ splashing in the puddles along the way (and involuntarily getting splashed by a few vehicles ). At the GZ we found the cache pretty quickly and got it signed and returned. The cache is in perfect condition despite the rain, although the bag may need replacing at some stage as the pencil has ripped holes in it.
Then we turned around and headed right back the way we came, ecstatic that I hit the milestone of 300 caches across 4 years. And what a 4 years they've been. We've seen many an interesting location and met some lovely people along the way. I may not have huge numbers despite my years of caching but it's still given me some wonderful memories. Thank you for placing this cache and adding one more memorable moment of the time I got soaked in my quest to cache . The final highlight of this caching adventure was finding a 4 leaf clover on the walk home. Definitely my lucky day!
This cache was found on the 30th of March 2017 at 8.38am. It was a milestone cache at #300 found on the 4th anniversary of finding my very first cache! Thanks for the cache Hurnett

My final cache today on unlucky Friday 13. It's a bit squeeze in the cache, but managed to get my name on the wad of paper. Tftc Hurnett
Kayla and I had been for a swim at Newmarket pool and she was keen to go grab lunch somewhere.
I was aware this cache was here so we detoured past it to try to find it.
A quick scout at one end of the bridge revealed nothing so off to the other end we went.
Cache located after a quick search.
Thanks for the cache Hurnett. Signed and replaced as found.
This is find number 263 for me!

With Christmas almost upon us and the silly season well under way, I took the opportunity to spend a morning making smilies in the Inner North area. Quick find here, but the sandwich bag is way too big for the container making it very difficult to extract, maybe a smaller one would be appropriate.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3069. Thanks **Hurnett** for showing us this spot. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Had dropped my family off at Newmarket pool for the morning. What else am I supposed to do but get caches? This was a quick find to start the day off. TFTC.
I popped over at lunch but found parking rather tricky. I made my way to a very familiar GZ though it took a little while to spot the cache: it blends well and was in what I thought was an unexpected position. Still, all was fine inside so TFTC.
Way behind in logging finds.
Found with stairman1 while out this way. All good here.

After spending the day minding my grandbabies, I rewarded myself with a couple of caches on the way home
Another place I've been cache hunting before! This was a busy place, especially as a train had arrived before I neared GZ. The hint helped lots, and I made the find in between passing muggles. TFTC, Hurnett.

I had scoped out another cache in the series nearby, but the T rating was a little out of reach on my own, so I headed to this one. Parked in the side street, and made my way to the GZ. Waited for some passers by and retrieved the cache. A quick etch and then waited again for another person to pass. Quickly replaced. TFTC Hurnett
Found wirh Seirra1 while out doing a few errands today. Easy find. All good with the cache. Had to wait in the rain for a male muggle to walk by before replacing the container to its hide. TFTC
2113 - This is the second time I can recall coming to this bridge to find a cache, and the bridge sure looks better than it did last time, having undergone a make over since then. It also has a memorial plaque there that I don't recall seeing last time. I found the cache in the logical spot and I moved away to sign the log at 5:51pm, as there were a few muggles walking around at this time of the late afternoon. Thanks for recognising this bridge with another cache Hurnett, all is well here.
Quick find today as I was driving past
Thanks for placing this cache, Hurnett. Found in good condition.

Tftc found on a great days caching, we were out caching when Bear0503 got the notification about a new cache so we set off, Bear0503 and Quesera and Rusty the geodog
FTF with Que Sera and SharpeM. After casually meeting up with my two caching buddies these new caches were published and so our scheduled caching day to complete the September challenge was quickly put on hold while we went in search of this new cache. We were surprised to find that we were alone at GZ but thrilled to be FTF and even mor excited when we realised we could use this cache got our September challenge. Thanks for placing this cache. We had lots of fun finding it.
I've visited this bridge a few times whilst caching. One hopes this one will be longer lasting than those which came before.
Cache found dry and in good condition
Thanks
As usual we were waiting for bear0503 at our scheduled meeting place when we saw her pull up and start running towards us arms waving. We waved back and thought she was very excitedto see us. When she reached us she was saying there are new caches just published. Well we dropped our schedule and hopped in my car. With bear0503 reading about the cache and sharpem navigating and rusty panting excitingly we headed off for a 14 minute drive. We all jumped out of the car and found the cache quickly and saw the nice new shiny log book. We were all very happy. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy.
