No luck. Definitely nothing hiding where the hint suggests. There’s quite often fishermen here so may have been muggled.
Another day, another calendar slot to fill. We're getting close now and I'm being ever vigilant in case I miss a day and have to wait another 365 days to complete! This was a quick grab whilst on an evening run round the wharves, I saw the previous log before heading out that said it looked like trash.... and that's what I found, actual trash haha - another look and soon had cache signed. TFTC
Nice hide and great spot! Was a little tricky to find but got there with a bit of perseverance. Thanks for placing
The conference at the International Convention Centre I had been involved in organising finished today and I had a bit of spare time in the afternoon to relax and do have a caching walk around the area.
I really like the way they have kept these wharves alive through businesses, often creative ones. And the wharves are a good way to get close to the harbour. I spent a few minutes here, watching interesting vessels go by, waiting out muggles and slowly sussing out where the cache would be. Eventually I want where I wasn't necessarily meant to go and made the find. TFTC

This was a bit different to the others as we needed to be in and out very quickly before some muggles spotted us. TFTC
#2626 a quick find was made as the hint was easy to spot

Out on a cache run and walk in the city for the day with the crew. Came back over to find this particular cache. Nice and dry today and we quickly negotiated the barrier and made a a quick find. With the cache in hand we all signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition - thanks for the cache Team MavEtJu.

Okay, so we were a bit naughty and ignored the fence and instruction to not go onto the steps. Hint made for a quick find.

Stayed in the city last night and decided to walk around town grabbing a view caches before heading home. With the rain easing off we walked out to Pyrmont before lunch. Unfortunately the area was fenced off and it was a bit slippery to do so in the drizzle. Will have to come back for this one.
I was in Sydney for a conference and it was very full on so no time for sightseeing and even worse, no time for geocaching. As it turned out we had an evening event near here at a venue and while my colleagues were having a few beers and wines I had a sneaky look at the phone and joy of joys there was a cache just 200m away.
Walked down to GZ and imagine my disappointment to see the area was fenced off. I normally play by the rules but I had to find at least one cache, so I sneaked around the short fence and dropped down to stay out of sight and have a look for the cache. Turns out I was spot on and found the cache very quickly. Was able to stay out of sight and sign and return the log.
Hooray got a cache even if I had to be a bit naughty. Thanks for the cache.

An interesting read thanks. Quite the busy place by the looks of it, not getting so much work now. Cheers
TFTC! Amazing bit of history here! Coming from overseas, this is the kind of little pieces of information that are really difficult to find otherwise and that I particularly value from Geocaching. Easy to find cache with the hint. We enjoyed the views on a way better day than yesterday in terms of weather. We just had to wait for a bit because some muggles on boats seemed to be really interested in our activities. Once they left, we couls come back to the hiding spot and leave the cache hidden again!
FP for the touristic value!

This one took a while and needed an extra hint from the CO! Many thanks team MavEtJu! Great location! TFTC
It took a bit of searching but we did manage to find it in the end. Found with Pmk49. Tftc!
It was getting quite dark when cmkoe3 and I approached this cache.
The area was totally deserted on this Sunday evening so we were able to use the flashlight in my phone to explore.
The cache was soon found.

Broke a virgin cacher in today! Found with Renegade (pending him making an account and getting a nickname, will update once he does). A nice quick find with not too many muggles about TFTC!!
**This was 1 of 13 caches that was found by me on the 16th of 16 caching days here in Australia. Which also was the 53rd of 75 days that my travels thru southeast Asia and Oceania would last.**
*Together with Ingabo, jsson and Sivun I would spend 16 days in Australia. Our journey started in Melbourne and ended in Sydney. After that I continued to New Zealand while the others headed back towards Melbourne.*
*All in all I did manage to find 263 caches, 9 types, 3 new months and many more statistical fillers.*

Team MavEtJu I found your cache History of the HMT Dunera on 25/11/18, 3:05 pm. This is my find 2176 and find # 11 today. Hardest part again was to find parking nearby. Found one with a short walk to GZ. A quick search and soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Morning walk after an involuntary night nearby.
Just a few joggers around, easy to grab the cache, sign and return.
A long story and an important reminder
Thanks for hiding this one for us

What a time for the muggle to stop for his coffee, just as we got here. Nice view
Rolled up on the spot and my mate beat me to the find but a lovely little spot, TFTC
Over from Perth on another business trip and managed to get away from meetings in the CBD long enough to take a stroll over the Pyrmont Bridge and pick up this cache. Lovely spot that I’ve never explored before - and likely wouldn’t have done without caching. Very interesting history too. One can only imagine what they’d make of the boats here today! GZ was deserted but I was conscious of unseen eyes behind glass when nearing GZ proper... thankfully the clever location provided some much needed cover! No problem with the cache which was a very quick find. Thanks for bringing me here today, and TFTC
Caching in the morning saves health. Nice place, visited after coffee. Interesting story. T4T$ FF5
In the city to see a show for Father’s Day, my very accommodating geo-dad allowed me a few detours to grab a couple of caches too. Expected something bigger given the size rating but as soon as I’d walked straight up to GZ (almost without the gps), I quickly spotted the standard micro.
I was scuttled by a muggle the last time I was here but today I just had to dodge the business folk about to start drinking for the evening. Sunset was lovely offering just enough light to see why my hands were getting so dirty. An interesting point in our history and glad it’s remembered here. Thanks Team MavEtJu
I was muggled out of this one... TWICE! it seems that GZ is a great little hiding spot for locals to hide, possibly up to mischief! First occasion I moved on and found another nearby cache, the next time I parked myself a short distance away and waited for muggle to move on. Once I had GZ to myself, it was a reasonably quick find, despite the cache not being where I initially expected it to be. SL TFTC Team MavEtJu!
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. The walk to the cache took me past a flotilla of floating gin places. What a contrSt these are to the conditions on the Dunera. Easy find at GZ. TFTC
Beautiful area and a great little hiding spot with an equally great clue. Missed it on first glance then had a look slightly below where I was originally looking at there it was. Glad the sea was tame today. TFTC MavEju.
One last find before the Event. Sadly I lost the plastic bag from the logsheet in the high wind. Sorry!
Thanks for the history lesson.

OCW Alephroom and Reverse G after the OZ Muster event. A quick find by the water. Nice day for it despite the wind. Cache# 985 TFTC
Located at 1:10pm. #738. OCW Rodney1210 and ReverseG. The wind had been strong for most of the day but here it was none more stronger. Nicely hidden cache and thought-provoking history lesson as well. Much obliged. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Walk around the area on our last day in Sydney. Some nice looking boats on the way to GZ. Willpunkey retrieved the cache. Thanks for bringing us out here
Zusammen mit Rio2013 war ich in Australien for Sightseeing und zum Cachen. Dabei haben wir auch hier gesucht und gefunden. Rio2013 hat einen TB von hier mitgenommen.

Dan' parents probably arrived in Australia at this wharf in 1949. They were immigrants from Northern Europe who arrived here after WWII and became Australian. TFTC and the trip into my ancestry. By the way, we added a new logsheet in a snaplock bag.
What a story! Found cache on a morning run around Darling Harbour. Log book wet and needs replacing. Sorry i had no baggies or paper with me today. TFTC
Today I do a very long walk through Sydney for finding some caches.

Hopped across the Tasman this morning and made a few caches while dodging ANZAC veterans and commemoration activities. This was one of those.
I visited here with team cacher zboy wonder.
A straightforward find on this one, and some fascinating history in the cache description - always appreciated, thank you. And quite the spot for a cache hide.
Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.

Found with Entdeckerschildkröte & Martin Cousins.
With Döner's Day celebrations set for the evening in the city, I decided to head in early to tackle the yet to be found caches in the Pyrmont area. I put the word out to see who else was free and was joined by Entdeckerschildkröte & Martin Cousins.
We made arrangements to meet up at the 'Sydney Fish Markets' (GC770X8) to kick things off and I was the last to arrive (thanks to mechanical issues with my bus). Martin Cousins had went on ahead but I met up with Entdeckerschildkröte there. The cache was In Plain Sight and easily spotted. Thanks For The Cache rinsemesocks.
We crossed under the Western Distributor and over the tram tracks to catch up to Martin Cousins at 'Paradise' (GC7D6WF). Martin Cousins offered up a hint to help us narrow our search and we soon had the nicely constructed cammo and Cache In Hand. Thanks For The Cache Diadem.
I had previously solved the 'Forgotten Australians # 2' Mystery Cache (GC3EA1R) and, while Martin Cousins had already found it, we came past for a quick find once at Ground Zero. Thanks For The Mystery Cache rinsemesocks.
Another one Martin Cousins had already found, but we had not, was the 'Carmichael Park Troll' (GC2XR4K). A couple of muggles were celebrating 420 day a little prematurely right next to the bridge, but we were able to grab the cache without any issue. Thanks For The Cache rinsemesocks.
Next up was the 'Distillery Hill' Multi Cache (GC6VCKK). A straightforward multi with interesting history behind it. At the final location, we were unsure which level we needed to be at, but eventually made the find after widening our search. Thanks For The Multi Cache Seemyshell.
It seems our luck turned at this point, where we had a thorough search for the 'Great Balls of Iron' (GC23VNP). Even with a Phone A Friend, we were unable to locate the cache. Will have to try again another time #DNFpride.
Our string of bad luck continued at 'Maximum Points' (GC572NZ), despite having a fair idea what we were looking for, and at which level #DNFpride.
We were back on track with 'History of the HMT Dunera' (GC6RKQZ), for a fairly quick find. Thanks For The Cache Team MavEtJu.
The third Did Not Find for the day was at the final for the 'Purgatory, Paradise & Hellhole' (GC24AHK). Even though Martin Cousins had previously found, we were unable to locate it today. Will have to return in the near future #DNFpride.
We were able to finish on a positive at 'Sydney Heritage Fleet' (GC75RND). It proved illusive and threatened to derail us, but persistence paid off and we spotted the sneaky hide. Thanks For The Cache 2qt2bstr818.
With a fairly successful haul under our belts, we arrived on time at the '4th Annual Dönerstag in Sydney (Döner's Day)' Event Cache (GC7HY7P) at Darling Harbour. It was our biggest turn out to date! We had a great time catching up and discussing plans for the long weekend. Thank you all for coming and helping continue this joyous tradition!

Before heading home after a nice weekend with friends, we decided to grab a few caches together.
Admired the view, and then got busy searching for this cache. Soon CIH, did the legalities and then returned it back home.
