The guidelines advise that the CO should make occasional visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. If you can not attend to the issue promptly, then you need to Disable the cache - I have disabled it this time.
Please respond to this situation (or indicated your intentions including a date) within **28 Days**, otherwise it will be necessary to withdraw the cache from the Active listing. After many dnf logs visited today with Earthlight
Where we previously found cache rocks are now cemented together

Very busy public location, probably muggled. I visited before sunrise good Friday, only an occasional jogger. There is a stormwater outlet just above where it should have been, might have been washed away?
needs a co check, after a string of dnfs and it's maybe washed away in a king tide.
There were not many options there but one.
And it was empty, I think that it is gone.
And it was empty, I think that it is gone.
An early enough visit. The cache was quite exposed but with all the other rubbish around no one would have thought differently.

How fortunate for the K9 squad turning up to chat to some locals on the jetty, most of the little muggles went over to watch leaving us free to find and log the cache

A nice quick find in a blazingly hot Port Augusta afternoon. Nice sized cache for the environment that it's in. Cleverly hidden so that the general public can't find it easily - well done!

Found by Mary & David at 1640. Thankfully all the muggles were engrossed in the action at the skate park. Retrieved "Ollie Owl" TB. Lovely peaceful views. Our thanks to spaceinvaders9.
Quick find but then Muggles moved in and I had to wait until they'd left. Luckily there were shops nearby after I got sick of sitting there "looking at the view" lol. TFTC Dropped off a cute little TB - please help it on its travels.
Collecting a few caches around Pt Augusta before heading home today [^].
Quite surprised that this cache survives - great placement [^].

Been to PA many times. This was our first cache here though. Glad to have a smiley face here now
Sit quietly, pick your moment, then grab. It helped that there weren't any muggles. High season might be a different story. TFTC
Good hide. Pencil is gone and not much left in box. loks like it has been raided. Was worried so didnt leave TB.

Found it with our geo great nephew. New experience for him. Lovely view of our great cities harbor. TFTC LNTN.
Found on a geocaching day in the area, we had an awesome time finding a great selection of caches we hadn't visited before. Thanks for the great work you put in placing and maintaining them.
Out and about in the Port for the day with time to kill so we did the rounds and collected a few great caches to keep us busy. Perfect weather with no wind and gentle Autumn sunshine. We did notice how clear the air is up here now the power station is closed. Thanks for the effort in putting out these caches.
TFTC 2531#out and about with sister and geo dogs on our way to Flinders range hoping this nice weather holes out for us

###Trip to the *Red Centre Experience* 2017###
Unfortunately, half of our team is home-based due to work commitment, the other half is lucky enough to be Alice Springs bound, in the company of Team Indiana08. Therefore, for a couple of weeks, our team will be attending some events and possibly finding the odd cache in different states.
---
Being stuck in Port Augusta with car problems for a very rainy long weekend was not on our plan. While still waiting, we used this beautiful sunny ANZAC day to get out of the confines of the dry caravan, explore the city a bit and find a few caches.
Attempted this one earlier in the day, but with too many muggles and police close by we decided to give it a miss and try again later in the day. This worked out a treat, When we came back there was a lot less activity in the area, and after taking a seat on the rocks and taking in the sights, the log could be retrieved and signed in comfort without being obvious.

Alice trip 2017. Day 5. With Sol de Lune and LuckL10n we started caching around Pt Augusta and Stirling before heading to Whyalla via a few of the short trails. After working out my first GCA History cache we walked over here to get this one.

#6453 - 08:05; Day 7 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune and albida33, so most logs were signed S.A.L. as a result. After a night in Port Augusta, today's plan was to cache in and around Port Augusta and Stirling North before heading south towards Whyalla for a couple of nights and produced 88 finds along with only 4 DNFs. This was the second of three finds in the CBD before we picked up a few supplies nearby and headed off towards Stirling. The local boot camp particpiants were running along nearby, but we were out of harms way at GZ. TFTC spaceinvaders9
On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We headed through Burra and Port Pirie before arriving in Port Augusta for the trek up the highway. Collected a good number of caches and all were found with no issues and the logs were soon signed. (Some logs were signed as S.A.L. to save space.)
Thanks for the cache and fun in getting to it and finding it.

After overnighting in Port Augusta it is time to continue our journey northward to the Oz Mega Event in Alice Springs. But first we must place some more smiles on the map for this area.
A stroll along the wharf for a quick find, now for some shopping and to begins the day's travel north.

Here I was at the 'Crossroads of Australia' again
Time for a bike ride
I wobbled off along the foreshore trail from the shopping centre,
and was soon at the boat ramp.
Where a heap of kayakers were taking advantage of the high tide
I took a seat nearby,
and found the cache beneath me feet !!
How convenient

Found after buying salmon (not salmon trout) and on our way north. Getting the impression by the amount of caravans and campers we saw, that Port Augusta does very well from travellers. It did from us. TFTC spaceinvaders9 and so long . . . .

On our way from Tasmania to the Mega at Alice Springs we stopped in Port Augusta to find some caches and this was one we found. A lovely spot on the water. TFTC
Hi there spaceinvaders9.
We found your cache **"so long and thanks for the salmon trout"** at 3:06:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15896).
We cached around the Port Augusta area today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 11 caches with 1 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Note:** *The listed trackable "Trackable Exhaust-Valve Volkswagen Engine AAM" is not in the cache*. Could spaceinvaders9 (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

#272. Found this one after a lovely long walk at sunset around the harbour. I'm really enjoying my work trip here and my first experience of Port Augusta! Although it was dark this was a nice quick find as I spotted something reflecting the light from my torch, and sure enough uncovered the cache. TFTC!
A quiet Sunday morning was the time of choice for me to grab this one. Today, 12 March 2017 at 09:11 was just fine. Just the odd fisher-muggle over near the jetty paying no attention to me whatsoever [^] Cache and contents are all good and dry. I left a 'bwt' figurine and craft peg... TN. TFTC spaceinvaders9
Mr Morris headed off on a bucket list trip to speedweek in Lake Gairdner. He didn't quite make it, 2 flat tyres near Barmera meant a couple of days layover at Lake Bonney. A busted frame on the camper trailer meant another 2 days layover in Port Augusta. Those disasters then affected the fridges so they called it quits and headed home again. The trip is now known as the Master of Disaster tour.
