Made the dogs breakfast outta this one as canopy interfered with the walkdown. Yep I'll go with that one. Once I ascertained it wasn't up the small hill by another culvert lol, the cache was found noice'n'dry at the next place. The logslip is a little musty but having no bags in these pillcans hasn't had an adverse affect on the caches. Returned cache to the spot and merrily headed on to the next cache. I like how the walkways help you get around as parking on some of the hill suburbs can be a pain in the podex. Thanks for leaving this cache current. Ticking off the 111PAF caches. **TSOD** 5pt
Being sentenced to jail, so he turned his house into an official prison and stayed there.
That certainly is my style of humour. Thank you for that little history lesson. I like it when caches contain a little anecdote of some form. It makes them more memorable for me. Thank you.

Covid-19 pandemic Alert Level 4 so no one should go caching, stay home, stay in your bubble, save lives.
Some mighty bid Eucalyptus trees down here. Don't fancy driving past if one decides to come down. TFTC 111PAF
A quiet stroll to pick up a couple of alley caches that have been on my list for a while. TFTC
Lovely area that you don't see from the waterside road. Quick find. Thanks for bringing us to this spot.
Hi thought id better find some very local caches after a hiatus. Forgot pen but will sign log tomorrow night. Thanks for the cache.
Very nicely hidden.. I used the nearby water source to wash my hands too.. they were veryy grubby!
Auch hier bin ich auf meiner Neuseelandrundreise lang gekommen und ich danke allen Owner für Ihre Mühe.
A nice day caching in the Dunedin area, about 40 caches for the day a few good up and down walks and a lot of fun had. Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
The GPS has me on my knees on the wrong side of the path. While I stood up Frame Family had the cache in hand. Tftc
Out checking one of my nearby caches and decided to clean up this sad blue face. Looked under the two pieces of asphalt without success. Clambered up the bank to check out another couple of pieces and then decided to have a closer look at the hint. Quite precise instructions so had another look and a scratch around. It was almost buried in the soft soil. Luckily there was some running water to wash the soil off.
On a mission with the kids. Parking was an issue but another great location we would never have been to without Geocaching
I hadn't updated my pocket query. I almost lifted up the new hint item. I've an excuse for a bike ride now.
I have put the cache in a new hide, see new hint, thank you KJR for telling me about it.
Found the culvert but no sign of any stump on the bank. We were conscious of a stump close by but it looked a bit worse for wear. On leaving we decided to have a look and lifting it up the cache was found burried in the ground. Didn't really match the description or clues so think the stump may have been dislodged from the bank. TFTC
read old log and there it was. Had to walk on as someone walking there dog then came back. My 1000 find. Took a while to get the last hundred.
Last one today.

I had dismissed the actual hiding place as too far gone but my wife knew better (as she so often does).

An afternoon away from cricket was a good opportunity for Hevic and I to visit the area. I was concerned that a young muggle might spoil the hide for us, but he was gone before we could get there (presumably using the disappearing trick all young muggles know that we adults somehow don't...) and we were able to get the hide relatively unimpeded. Cheers!

3rd find while out on a morning walk to the Colinswood Bush and back to the cafe for coffees. Thanks.
I had to wait for the dog walker to go past so had a phone call to myself. Great wee walkway.
Another gorgeous walkway I never knew existed. Another easy find. Our 50th Cache find. Whoop whoop!
Before I headed out on the bike this morning I was tossing up whether to head for the new caches at Macandrew Bay or the one overlooking Waihola. No logs had appeared for Mac Bay and I entertained the possibility of some FTFs. "Nah," I thought, "Gadget will have been there and just not logged yet." So Waihola it was. However, doing the Mac Bay caches early afternoon I discovered that Gadget had snaffled the FTFs only about 45 minutes before I visited! Note to self- even in the Gadget FTF era there is still the chance of an FTF! GPS initially had me a little way past the hide but soon corrected itself. TFTC.
(FTF) #106 @1202 a bit of a walk to this one but not that far for a FTF. Very nice homes around here tho bet they cost lots. TFTC
