In Maryborough for an event today, so I thought I would claim a few more smiles. This was a quick and easy find today. TFTC
Enjoy the variety of caches collected today. After a little search log signed and placed where found. TFTC
A rolling park and quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Nana Nel for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I commenced the drive north with a few [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) targeted D-T geocaches in the Sunshine Hinterland, so we stopped in Woombye and Nambour, before continuing our trip north. I had a targeted Eumundi geocache to find (as it was a non-market day today), and we then spent a couple of hours visiting the *Evil* series nearby to Pomona. After having a bakery lunch in Gympie, we continued north, stopped in Tiaro, and then progressively stopped more as we neared Maryborough. We spent a few hours finding a few geocaches in the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series, and then took a loop around Police Paddock Conservation Park. As the light faded, we caught up with [Liz and Bruce](https://coord.info/PR68BB).
We came. We stopped. We cached. We left.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Found by Mary and David at 16:05. Never tire of the countryside and warmth. Our thanks to Nana Nel.
Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz . Thanks Nana Nel
Day 4 & 5 in Maryborough. We thought we would continue to look around town and spend our time caching here. It didn't quite work out as we thought as there were a number of caches in parks and reserves and we ventured wider as well. A good variety of caches and hides all in generally good condition. We had mixed results on a number of tree fishing attempts. Some we just couldn't spot, others we couldn't reach with our fishing pole. Will have to look at some further modifications when we get home! We did manage to get a couple though!

In the area with Selva Girls to do the JBF series and anything else that got in the way and this was one of them. We managed to find all that we attempted today and enjoyed the quiet country roads. Plenty of nice areas to stop and enjoy a break while having some fun.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

It would have been rude to not avail ourselves of this country stopover while in the neighbourhood. Quick find to boot, thanks Nana Nel for the invite.
Team JAGT (or some other acronym of our initials) was out today gathering caches. TFTC!
Took the opportunity to get away for the weekend to Maryborough. The roads are busy so it was good to take a break here and there for a cache or two.

After finding one cache on the other side of the highway I drove across because the break from driving was awesome. Caching is a great way to break up a road trip but can also add a lot of time that you hadn’t planned for. tftc
I found this cache on a trip with Snickersallan, I thank all CO's for the time and effort putting out and maintaining the caches, all were enjoyed. TFTC
Day four of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and continuing to work our way through finding all the local and a few outer suburb caches. It was extremely overcast for the majority of the day but the compass never faulted and led us to every GZ without any hassles.
Quick stop and retrieval of the cache now off to our next on the to-do list for today.

Found geocache. It’s the largest container I’ve ever found. I don’t have anything half as cool as the Red Power Ranger figure I took from it, but I shall return soon with something equally awesome to leave in the cache later this afternoon or early tomorrow morning. Stamped log and replaced cache.
After a long weekend of caching as a group it was now time to depart and start grabbing a few of my own to fill in some blank areas of interest. Most of these were park and grabs or very short walk types. This was one of those, I had grabbed the one up the road last time I was here but seeing as I had a little time today I made my way to this one. A quick park and grab and all good with this cache. With log signed and cache returned it was off to complete the others in this area. Thank you it for placing here.
Another stop along this quiet road and we found the nice sized cache. Left TB. TFTC
A short detour down this road and the cache was located quickly Well pleased with the caches in and around Maryborough.

Hi there Nana Nel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around Maryborough today. We woke up early and started before the sun in order to beat the heat. We ended up finding a variety of containers hidden along our route.
All up we found 18 caches & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Keyring
**Dropped Trackable:** "The Dinky Toys Club".
Regards
Ian & Penny.

With a T of 3.0 we were expecting some challenging terrain, but all that we were confronted with was a heap of cob webs - I hate cob webs and what comes with them [:(!]
Thanks Nana Nel.
Feedback: Even though I don't care much about them, there was no TB in that container - who would have thought that that could happen [:o)]

Our next quick find, found in the obvious spot. Sad about the poor possum on road right near GZ, who had obviously forgotten to look before crossing the road in front of another traveller. Luckily for NyssaFlutterby there were no other travellers when she did the same.

This afternoon was a time of just quietly caching around Maryborough and putting some more smileys on our caching map. We wanted to pick up some more of the Liz and Bruce tribute caches in the area.
The log of each cache found was duly signed and replaced before we left. This one was a nice easy find and our thanks go to Nana Nel for this cache placement.

With the rest of the regular Bromanceketeer geocaching posse either back at work, interstate or oversees and my family heading down the coast for a few days, I decided to head north on a solo geocaching mission targeting some caches around Rainbow Beach and some other unloved caches along the way. Having completed the Rainbow Beach to-do list, with a short stop over in Maryborough, I then made my way north to Hervey Bay where I spent the night sleeping in the car. With a new day, there were more caches to find heading further north towards the outskirts of Bundaberg.
With the main targets for the trip ticked off it was time to turn towards home, and the long drive back to Brisbane. Time though for an extra couple of caches on the way back, including this one.
No problems locating the container. TFTC

Find number **306** with this one being find **3** of **15** looked for with only **2** not found - pretty stoked with that.
Had to drop the kids back to their mums house today so made the drive from Hervey Bay back down to Beaudesert. Luckily had no time restraints on the way home so why not make the most of it and cache along the highway. Somehow turned a 5 hour trip into a 7 hour trip but hey, it was worth it right?
How could I not grab this one, literally just around the corner from the last L & B cache. I spied a suspicious looking stump that may well be hiding a cache, grabbed my trusty spider web clearing tool - the longest stick I could find and the cache was in hand.
Log signed, replaced and re-sealed and I was on my way, pitch blackness was upon me and I still had lots of caches to find, plus a 4.5 hour trip to go at that point.

It was a nice quiet road this pm, especially after being the Bruce Hyway! Good hiding spot. Took TB(the only one in the cache container) and will continue it on its travel.
