Cache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when a seeker reports a problem with the cache. Asking others to do the maintenance is not the way it works.
If you cannot maintain your cache then you need to [**adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=41&pgid=249) to another Geocacher or [**archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so the spot can be used by someone else.
**Based on the previous logs, perhaps it's time for the CO to make a visit to this cache please.**

I’m not sure if I want to log this as a find. I should do as the cache has been missing for over four months with CO asking others to replace the cache container. Not everyone caches with a bison or similar in their pocket. Especially when they are on holidays.

#12388 - 8:29:00 AM; Last day in Sydney with the geohoney, so headed off for a short morning stroll around Pyrmont to collect some newer caches since we last stayed in the area. As usual I started off on the wrong side, but quickly rectified the error of my ways and made a quick find when I reached GZ. Nice spot and well worth a visit! TFTC Seemyshell
Found it just sitting out on the ground, just about to fall in the water. Replaced where we think it should go. Tftc

We looked for this one 3 years ago, but came up empty. After watching Hamilton, we went for a walk, and decide to look for it again. This time, with 3 years more experience, Geomum easily made the find. Love a good urban hide. TFTC!

Found at lunchtime today as I had a calendar spot to fill. I love the sculpture, and was really impressed with hide location. The coordinates might be a little out but it's no issue given the hint. Great job.
Damn running muggles! Too interested in what I’m doing and should be focused on their running but TFTC it was a nice walk down to gz with great views all round TFTC
That was not easy with muggles around. Got to GZ and didn’t want to look suspicious so I decided to take a look on the other side of the water, this did the trick I spotted something so came back around and yes it was the cache.
And here we are. It is 2022, and after moving my life half the world away to Australia, discovering that Geocaching there without my friends was not as fun, generally trying to survive Australian fauna and flora and finding a job, only doing Geocaching on occasion during 2019, and then the pandemic hitting in 2020 and putting almost a complete halt to all traveling and finding, plus finally coming back to Europe to try and redo my life here this year… I have decided to sit down and log online all of the records I had gathered offline during these years. Some are lost forever (don’t trust your phone for years on end with offline logs), but hopefully I will manage to recover enough logs to paint a few broad strokes of what these years were, and the places they took me to.
Apologies in advance to all owners for this (in some cases, very) delayed logging. I can only say that sometimes we are not in the best place, and it takes time to find oneself. Thanks in advance for the hides, the places you took me to, and the stories you shared in the way.
----
Pandemic is going crazy, we now seem to be able to go for local walks, so I take the chance to try and do a cache a day for a little while, to get me used to walking again. It has been a few terrible months, and we are only in the thick of it.
Thanks for not disabling these, as they helped to keep me sane these weeks.

With the current climate of restrictions lifting, its time that we are all allowed to go Geocaching once again.
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, The Australian and NSW Governments requires everybody to stay at home unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard going geocaching as a form of exercise, it is my personal opinion that this activity is a non-essential one, perhaps involving unnecessary travel and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis.
Who knows how long this pandemic will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of Covid-19, by staying home.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, I have decided to disable all my caches and respectfully request that no person seek out and claim a find on any of my hides whilst the caches are disabled.
Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to bringing my caches back into play as soon as the health crisis abates, and stay safe.
Cheers

I found this one on the 17/2/20 with mrwhiskers76 but I didn’t have premium until now, this one took a while but after a bit of thinking we had the cache in hand, thankyou
I spent along time looking In the wrong spot before branching out and making the find tftc
After doing what I came to Sydney to do this morning, I decided to take advantage of today's very pleasant weather to go for a wander around the Pyrmont Bay waterfront. While I've been to Darling Harbour a lot over the years, I think this is the first time I've gone past Star City since the the foreshore was redeveloped so it was great to see how much the area has changed over the last 20-30 years ... and it was good too to be able to grab a few caches along the way.
Thanks for the hide Seemyshell ... how you managed to come across this neat little hiding spot is beyond me but I liked it a lot!

Huh, I never knew this was a sculpture, I always figured it was some kind of boat repair station or something hahaa, anyway, cache is safe and sound and logbook signed, tftc
Well on this one we went back and forth at least once trying to sort out the correct side of the water, but success in the end, TFTC!
GPS took us back and forth over the dock but managed to make the find after reading the clues again with Pinnstef57 on Boxing Day. Tftc.
Oh that is the one I logged the wrong cache because I saw this one on a video and did not know it was this one TFTC great cache
13:41 - Find #2393 - Happy to be back in Australia once more. First leg of this visit was Adelaide and Barossa Valley, second leg was Sydney. Third and last full day in the city. The air quality was kind of ok, fire fighters were making a bit of progress I heard and wind was coming more from the east. Started nice'n'early and had beautiful sunny morning around the opera house and then through the botanical gardens before I went to the Sealife Aquarium - very impressive sharks! . After a lunch break I started my walk towards the beautiful area of Darling Harbor. Came by this cache and had to stop of course. Was a bit unsure first about the coords for GZ but then I made a lucky grab. Everything's fine with the cache and the logbook. TFTC and cheers from Cologne, Germany
After work on nearby building site, I came down to see why this cache had so many Favorite points and I wasn't disappointed. I found the cache in less than a minute after taking in the hint and studying the infrastructure. Did the legals and replaced as found. FP awarded. TFTCM

This week, I visited Australia on a business trip. After work and on the weekend, I always went for sightseeing and a few caches. I really enjoyed my stay, because the city is really beautiful, the people were great and I was able to find quite a few caches. I also went to the blue mountains and the Manly beach - so I at least had a taste of most of the beauty that Sydney and it's surroundings has to offer. All in all, I found about 65 Caches over the week, that I have been here, met fellow geocachers, saw beautiful places and had a lot of fun!
I was able to find this cache quite quickly during my walk from Darling Harbour to Darling Island. Very beautiful area of Sydney.

A refreshing iced coffee nearby, and then onto this. Interesting ladders. Fun cache. Have a favourite point. TFTC Seemyshell.
A late night caching trip, and this one almost had me stumped.
But after re-reading the hint, it finally clicked.
Simple and very effective.

Fun spot! I was going to pass this one up, but I missed my bus stop! Happy accident!
Thanks for all the fun!
Thanks for all the fun!
I was nearby at Star City eating up big and saw that there was this cache not too far away, so headed over. A nice park here with a great view, some interesting sculptures along the way, and an amazing structure at gz. Read the hint, worked out the correct interpretation, but it still took a while to find the cache as there were a few things to inspect. I finally looked more closely at something that I had initially discarded, and found the cache hiding there. Signed the log in between passing muggles and then replaced it all as found. Found with SmudgeyCat D. A fave point from me. TFTC
Pleasant place with stunning views of the Harbour Bridge. For a while we were looking for the right place, but the hint helped us...

Found it, eventually! Needed some rotation.please update GZ location as it shows up on the application map in the middle of the water . Thanks
During a walk around Darling Harbour we passed this remarkable artwork. After a few minutes, when no Muggles were around, I could also sign the logbook.

It took a while to find this one. A very good spot to place this cache. Good clues. A beautiful day and very few muggles to contend with. This is certainly a beautiful part of Sydney.

In Sydney to find some caches with teamMerlin. After finding the cache we signed the log and replaced as found. thanks for the cache Seemyshell.
I love this cache. Simple as that. What a clever place to put one. I wish I could see these ladders in action, as I have no idea how they work...especially on this side of the wharf. Btw, alnic39 gives this fave point 39.
Stayed in the city last night and decided to walk around town grabbing a view caches before heading home. With the rain easing off we walked out to Pyrmont before lunch. Worked out where we needed to be and with no muggles about we took a seat and quickly found this sneaky one. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Thanks for the cache Seemyshell - worthy of a favourite point.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, England since 1872

Interesting bits of art, quite mesmerising when a boat went past and the waves caused the ladders to all go up and down. Cheers
Ooh I really like this installation - dynamic, environmently dependent, bold. But the finding took longer than I would like. A muggle sat right at GZ and I nearly walked up to him to ask if he was looking for what I was looking for but thought better of it . I walked away, he walked, I walked back, but my compass continued to point me into the water. Finally settled myself based on the hint and success. Nice job SMS.
