Cherry picked these caches today to fulfill our requirements. This was an enjoyable series to do, visiting different parts of the railway hertage! Took some time but got there in the end.Cache and contents in good condition. Many thanks MummaBear66 for your cache placement here.
Found by Mary and David at 14:30. We'll never finish off your caches, at least not on this visit, but you have given us so much fun today. Not enough water for Deborah, or anyone else, to swim in though. Our thanks to Sweet-Sour.
Enroute to Hervey Bay for four days and three nights hiking a portion of the Fraser Island Great Walk, we managed an early start, primarily so we could beat the traffic, but also so we find a carefully selected mix of caches along the way.
Another unloved cache that didn't make Seffnjarah's list for today? Unheard of ! I will have to take my shoes off to count all his failings today. Despite my request to make this a park and grab, we stopped a short walk away. All in good order.

Today Crookedpete, Dez(JezNDez) and I were heading north from Brisbane on our way to Hervey Bay for the start of our 4 day hiking adventure tomorrow along a stretch of the Fraser Island Great Walk. We left Brisbane early to avoid the peak our traffic and this gave us plenty of time to pick up caches along the way.
Another one where the eagle eyes of Crookedpete spotted the unloved status of this one while we were driving past. Managed to get the car close to GZ but not close enough to avoid a short walk to GZ. Cache found safe and well and logbook was signed with The Bromance team stamp. TFTC

After checking out Deborah's swimming hole, Mr Herbz walked straight up to the cache. TFTC
Followed the fence line in ,grass was a lot lower. Found cache.. cache is in great shape.
We didn’t see Deborah today but had a peek at the creek. Cache found quickly and in good condition. THankyou
Heading north today from Gympie via the back roads to Tiaro and picking up cahes along the way and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and after signing the log all was returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

Enjoying our day out in the fresh air and sunshine. This was an easy find after parking the vehicle and walking to GZ. TNLN SL.
TFTC. We had not been out in a little while and with a new souviner in the offing we decided to head out along the Netherby Road and then circle back to Maryborough via Bauple. We had not been along these road previously so it was a leisurely trip. We attempted and found 22 caches in the Tiaro-Gundiah-Bauple area. Thnaks to the CO’s for putting these out so we could explore the area.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
30/6/21 Staying in Tiaro and seeing the sighrs and grabbing some caches. Great searching along old railway tracks. I am on holidays from Mackay. Rainy weather today. TFTC SL
Tftc Sweet-Sour, we are staying in Maryborough for a few more days.
Headed out this way today to collect a few smilies.
All good with this one

We are on a short trip only with our caravan. We love this area, and will be back soon again, as due to rainy weather our caching is limited.
Found this one.
We left it behind couple of times because of the very high grass. Not this time.

Heading to Hervey Bay for a few nights for my eldest daughters birthday. Day 1 found 2 caches, day 2 found 1 cache, day 3 found 29, day 4 found 56.
Few DNF's, and recovering from an MCL tear in my knee, there were a few I didn't even attempt, and some I shouldn't have attempted but did...and now sitting on the couch having a celebratory scotch, am certainly paying for it.
I run a pocket query on a weekly basis heading north (and I guess South) for all the times I visit Hervey Bay and I knew there was these series of caches. Last time I came I dropped out of reception and hadn't saved offline data so it was next to useless. Returned this trip with data downloaded and there were very few caches here. I could've sworn I remembered more caches here.
Turns out my PQ has been reduced to five kms off the highway so it didn't include all the others which meant I raced past a whole bunch. Mega annoying but it means I'll be back
The GPS wouldn't settle for this one but when it did it made for a quick find. Was a little bit damp so tried to dry it out as best I could.
Thanks for the cache **Sweet-Sour**

Heading from Brisbane to Bundaberg and decided to take this detour and collect along this country road. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches to enhance our enjoyment of caching.
Out and about caching today on the way to Bundaberg. Decided to do these caches west of Bauple. Thoroughly enjoyed finding these caches in the countryside. Caches were found and logs signed. TFTC Sweet-Sour.
TFTC smile 6922 out and about with miss Millie geo dog on our way to Bargara for a event had a great time lots of rain first three days
Thank you, sweet - sour, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

My 2nd attempt on this one was with Liz & Bruce today. The container was much smaller than I expected, and the grass was cut this time. TFTC
No luck with this one. These caches have been on my radar for a long time but with a poor GPS signal and very limited mobile coverage they're difficult to do. I had to be cautious wandering through tall grass in case an angry snake wanted to jump out and bite me.
Out and about with Dad(aka Sweet&Sour) I'm still doing his maintenance checks

Found with Nyssaflutterby on our escaping reality for the weekend road trip!
We had a plan to find the most caches in a day for both of us (for me just 52, for Nyssa 122!) so after completing a trail we continued on caching for the rest of the day. We could have found a lot more but the heat was against us.
Nice quick find here. Not much swimming going on.

Wombles and I were on a mission today. A week ago I had a crazy idea of trying to better my top finds in a day. So this is how we found ourselves in this part of QLD. With a new power trail available it was the perfect place. We had just completed all of the available 101 series and now only needed about another 20ish caches.
No swimming with Deborah today, but we were enjoying a sprinkle of rain on and off. Lord knows the dry land needs it! At GZ it didn’t take long for the beasty to be in hand. Some scribble was left and the container replaced as found.

On our way home to Landsborough after spending a few great days caching in the Maryborough Area. This one took a bit of time to retrieve, signed and returned as found. TFTC Sweet-Sour

Found OK, it's a bit damp but still OK to make our mark. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing a cache here for our enjoyment.

Back again for another go at this one
This morning the stroll through the not too tall grass went well.
And at GZ the cache soon came into view [^]
Back at the geomobile,
I had a 'smilie' on me dial,
and having come prepared by wearing the long pants,
had no grass seeds stuck in me socks
TFTC !!

After a quick stroll across the paddock we quickly found the cache but it did take a bit of effort to get out. I could see I was about to lose some bark to the bark reaching in.
I grabbed a stick to practice my pole-vault skills which are a little bit rusty since I starred in an Olympic Games in one of my dreams. Just as I was about to launch, the stick broke and I found myself going for a tumble. tftc

We came across your cache, Sweet-Sour, while on our way home from a few days on the Cap Coast .
Nice quick find even though the grass was a good bit longer than the railway line. No discernable trail.
Log signed and cache replaced at 3:26 PM on May 31, 2018. TFTC.

Out caching today with friends BirdsvilleTrack. Lovely scenery and we enjoyed finding the cache in this location. Made a day of it and had lunch at one of the country pubs. Thanks to Sweet-Sour for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Love living out on this road and entering the gate across the river seeing all the cars what park and grab this cache. Makes for a great day and just thinking "I know what your doing" haha
A day of geocaching with the family before I head home.

Enjoyed the drive to this cache that was not enabled when we last past this area. Did not take long to find cache - such a lovely colour and well hidden. Pleased to be able to be the first to sign the replacement logbook. Had morning tea in the area whilst listening to the birds enjoying their day too!

I dropped by the olde swimmin' hole today.
No way I would swim in there
So I poked around for a cache.
One tree at GZ stood out as a prime spot
Alas it hid nothing cache like

(FTF) I had it in the caching plan to come to Gympie today to do the (13) new ones that this CO had placed. I contacted Keith (Sweet-Sour) to see if he wanted to come for a drive as I anticipated he had at least two of his hides to maintain and he accepted the offer. Checked the internet last night and saw a new hide in Maryborough and 8 more from Sweet-Sour. Apologies for cut and paste logs as I have a lot to write.
I do not actively chase ftf but I will take them if I come across one or two or three or more. 38 hides in the plan today. 36 finds, 1 did not attempt as I did not have a ladder with me, and one
( The emperor ) I did not go out of my way to attempt as it was now dark on our return to Gympie.
No DNF's but came awfully close to one or two but persistent paid off. Left home at 0545 and arrived at the residence of Sweet-Sour at 0615. 486klmn drive today, home to home, and arrived home at 2000hours. Long day but there were many breaks along the way. We drove from Gunalda to Maryborough to Wolvi then to Cooran then to Kin Kin then to Mapleton then Amamoor then back to North of Gympie.
This was the next one in the plan and did not take long to find at all. Sweet-Sour tended to walk slightly away from each GZ leaving all the hard work to me and that is what should happen as it gives the CO a good chance to check his placed co ordinates. Keih and I nearly allways have a gapof about 3 meters. Not too difficult toi find with good co ordinates. I still do paper caching and only load a few at a time into my GPSr. Have the smart phone as a backup now buit initially I was not going to load the APP. Very good hide and if you look around you may even see a short cut into GZ. Thanks for the company and TFTC Sweet-Sour.
