After a long week-end up north it was time to head home. Taking a different route home means there are lots of caches to find on the way. Found after a short search. Thanks for cache.
Out today exploring the country after the rain. Nice and green. A quick find after a quick rain burst. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sweet-Sour. All good with this cache.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Found by Mary and David at 13:40. Disappointed not to find any TBs that could have headed south with us in a few days. Have to laugh that lantana is a weed here, but years ago we bought one at Bunnings for about $10.We keep it well pruned. Our thanks to Sweet-Sour.
Thanks for the cache!!! My 98th find, hoping to get to a hundred today. Found with Rach_jean21 and gorjess516
Found with Rach and Sarah. TB to taken by Rach to head back down the coast.
Sarah had been dragged along on adventures with us and is finding her 100th today!!!!!

We are on our way to spend Easter in Maryborough with Youngoldfella.
We bypassed a few due to the long grass and unknown/unseeable terrain. Even this one was difficult.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on April 14, 2022. TFTC, Sweet-Sour

Took the opportunity to get away for the weekend to Maryborough. The roads are busy so it was good to take a break here and there fir a cache or two.
Travelling & Caching with RoddyC.
The height of the grass was incredible. As it was not too far to GZ I took the plunge.

Hard work this cache. Lantana has taken over and grass is thick..got there in the end. YA.
Heading north today from Gympie via the back roads to Tiaro and picking up cahes along the way and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and after signing the log all was returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

Well, finally the weather has decided it will allow us a few days of dry camping (not totally dry, there WILL be a few lagers involved! ).
Our target area is Gympie and a few rural spots northwest.
Nice quick find.
Liberated the three resident TBs.
They were so tangled together it was quicker to just take them all & sort them out later.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

TFTC. We had not been out in a little while and with a new souviner in the offing we decided to head out along the Netherby Road and then circle back to Maryborough via Bauple. We had not been along these road previously so it was a leisurely trip. We attempted and found 22 caches in the Tiaro-Gundiah-Bauple area. Thnaks to the CO’s for putting these out so we could explore the area.
30/6/21 Staying in Tiaro and seeing the sighrs and grabbing some caches. Great searching along old railway tracks. I am on holidays from Mackay. Rainy weather today. TFTC SL No TB in cache, Dropped off 1 x TB
We negotiated our way through the grass that was over my head height to find a stump hidden among the grass. No TB's are in the cache. SL TFTC

One of my daughters who lives in Hervey Bay was getting an award today at school, so I made the trip from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back again in a day. Thankfully there's still a couple of caches between there that I hadn't gotten yet to break the long drive up.
895 kilometres in one day is a lot of driving! This was cache 28 of 33
I do love a good TB Hotel! Especially a safe one like this where you have to walk through shoulder high grass to get to. UNfortunately plenty of vacancies at this hotel, with not a single guest booked in.
Thanks for the cache **Sweet-Sour**

Time for us to head back to the Bruce Highway, and so I think this is a good place for us to turn around. We have really enjoyed driving down this country road today and finding all of your Geocaches.
Thanks sweet-sour for placing and maintaining this series. It is a great back road in this area.

Out and about caching today on the way to Bundaberg. Decided to do these caches west of Bauple. Thoroughly enjoyed finding these caches in the countryside. Caches were found and logs signed. TFTC Sweet-Sour.

On my way to Brisbane to visit family I thought I’d make a little detour. TFTC. Picked up a trackable to drop in Brisbane.
Found some goodies here running very late for the event now.. you know how the saying goes, one more, just one more ends up 10, 20 or more

Found with Nyssaflutterby on our escaping reality for the weekend road trip!
We had a plan to find the most caches in a day for both of us (for me just 52, for Nyssa 122!) so after completing a trail we continued on caching for the rest of the day. We could have found a lot more but the heat was against us.
On approaching the cache I found a Tb on the ground.
Nyssa took the Tb's with her to place elsewhere.

Wombles and I were on a mission today. A week ago I had a crazy idea of trying to better my top finds in a day. So this is how we found ourselves in this part of QLD. With a new power trail available it was the perfect place. We had just completed all of the available 101 series and now only needed about another 20ish caches.
YAY!!! A TB hotel I certainly had a few to leave here. After a recent trip down south I had collected just a couple. Happy to release back into the wild. The cache was an easy find.
Thanks for the smiley Sweet-Sour

H found it easily whilst I picked farmer's friends and prickles out of her clothes. A couple of snails were on the container. Dropped of TB. Two TModel Fords in pristine condition with plenty of brass work just drove passed. TFTC
Methinks the grass was not so long when the CO hid this one. Headed in to the jungle in the hope of not getting eaten by a lion.
Moving on today after some overnight rain, it was a case of sometimes having to wade through very long, very wet grass this morning, along with ilook4geo. It was a bit of a hit and miss day. Some caches we found OK, but some on the list we had to miss, as they were along a section of road where road works were happening and muggle workers were operating machinery at various points.
There was no problem with this one and all was in good condition. It was an easy find. Thank you Sweet - Sour for placing this cache.

The day started off wet and showery this morning, but cleared as the day went on. The caching still happened with goingplaces2 and we had to leave some due to road works. All caches were replaced as found. TFTC.
Kilkivan Cache-up stay Day 3:
Another early start, leaving Kilkivan and heading up through Gundiah and Tiaro before a few hours in Maryborough to find some caches and attend a New Year's event, then heading home.
First for the day here, had no troubles finding the big container. Unfortunately there weren't any TBs staying in this hotek, and I dropped off the last ones I had yesterday.

Not a long search, it was just a case of the grass being over my head and I wasn't sure how much water was underfoot but I soon had access to the TB Hotel. Left Alvin TB. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
Out caching today with friends BirdsvilleTrack. Lovely scenery and we enjoyed finding the cache in this location. Made a day of it and had lunch at one of the country pubs. Thanks to Sweet-Sour for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Not a lot to say about this cache apart from that it was in pretty good condition although there were no TBs in the Hotel so we couldn't help to move any along today.
It has been a real pleasure sharing all my recent finds with my son BadAssLongCoat (what a name ) before he returns to WA tonight.
