Hi there Sweet-Sour, we found your cache Sunlander Ghost today.

Now that we’ve moved to Maryborough, it’s time to collect some caches in our "new” local area.

We chose a start point and followed a pseudo “next closest" route today. This was a nice, quick find.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log are in good shape.

Regards
Ian & Penny

Heading north today from Gympie via the back roads to Tiaro and picking up cahes along the way and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and after signing the log all was returned as found.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

We took the easy way and actually parked quite close after finding somewhere to turn the vehicle around. After a search when we almost gave up, at last the cache was spotted - why didn't we look there first up! TNLN SL TFTC

TFTC. We had not been out in a little while and with a new souviner in the offing we decided to head out along the Netherby Road and then circle back to Maryborough via Bauple. We had not been along these road previously so it was a leisurely trip. We attempted and found 22 caches in the Tiaro-Gundiah-Bauple area. Thnaks to the CO’s for putting these out so we could explore the area.

**Found 28/01/2021 at 12:00:52 PM Smiley #1068 Big Grin**

Headed to Hervey bay for my annual pilgrimage to see my daughters on their first day of school for the year. Lucky there's a couple of hundred of caches between Hervey Bay and home.

This was cache **59** of **70** All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless otherwise said, and I thank each of the Cache Owners for placing and maintaing these caches. I apologise for the generic logs, it doen't mean the effort has not gone unnoticed.

Choose the easy way and ended up with a very nice and easy find.

Thanks for the cache **Sweet-Sour** Big Grin

Starting the trip home and decided to make a quick stop to grab this cache. As it happens I think I went the hard way in. Out wasn’t much easier although a little less bushy but required 2 fences

19-Nov-20
Easy find after a nice wander down the track, watch out for the spider and babies that live close

Found this one ok the easy way.

12/1/20
Found with Nyssaflutterby on our escaping reality for the weekend road trip!
We had a plan to find the most caches in a day for both of us (for me just 52, for Nyssa 122!) so after completing a trail we continued on caching for the rest of the day. We could have found a lot more but the heat was against us.
I didn't realise the line had been moved up here, so these caches were all very interesting.
I was glad to find the cache where I was and realise Nyssa had already taken us the easy way!

12-Jan-20
Wombles and I were on a mission today. A week ago I had a crazy idea of trying to better my top finds in a day. So this is how we found ourselves in this part of QLD. With a new power trail available it was the perfect place. We had just completed all of the available 101 series and now only needed about another 20ish caches.

I’m glad I read the description for this one before we arrived. There certainly is an easy way to GZ. I even managed to turn the car around after a ten point turn, it does help to have a tiny car some days. While I was manoeuvring our vehicle wombles hopped out to start searching. By the time I was the right way around she had the beasty in hand. Go team!

Thanks for the cache Sweet-Sour Big Grin

On our way home to Landsborough after spending a few great days caching in the Maryborough Area. Like previous finders, I went in the difficult way and found the barbed-wire fence and then slid down the bank, found the cache and signed the log before taking the easy way out although it was a lot long walk. TFTC Sweet-Sour Smile

In hindsight, it seems we took the hard way. Bashing through the high scrub and bushes we found ourselves on the wrong side a barbed wire fence. Not to be deterred, the fence was scaled and a few meters walk led to a slippery slide down to the cache and duly signed. The return trip was no easier and a few bits of skin and blood were left as proof of our visit. Thanks for the challenge Sweet and Sour.

Did not pursue. Attempted but met a barbed wire fence, we’ll leave this one for the locals and those who have time to take a wander.

Went for this one on The way home.
Bush bashing was fun but came to a barbed wire fence and thought better.
Maybe another say

Heading home today. Taking the very slow and scenic route. This was part of my target for the day. A pedal along this road and then a detour in the car to collect the last two warriors I needed.

I parked near the easy way in and set of on the bike. A nice easy pedal to GZ along the grass. Smile

We were unable to find the easy or the hard way to the cache. I did come accross lots of farmers friends & came away looking like a porkypine.

We came across your cache, Sweet-Sour, while on our way home from a few days on the Cap Coast .

Nice quick find after a short brisk walk. The grass on the track has been cut within the last couple of weeks so all good. Took the Ghosts geocoin to move him on.

Log signed and cache replaced at 2:59 PM on May 31, 2018. TFTC.

Taking the, ah, ghost train detour back from Bundy to Brissy today, and appropriately this was the first container discovered. No idea on "easy" ways - not something I typically bother with. Apparently. No snakes were harmed in the finding of this cache (can black snakes hear girly screaming? - asking for a friend).
Thanks for placing this cache, Sweet-Sour. Found in good condition.
Cool *{Overall find #5353}* Cool

Not knowing the area well we did it the hard way. Bush bashed, scaled barbed wire fence, then descended sheer drop off. Signed log then reversed the process to get back to the car. TFTC it's been an adventure doing it.

Knowing Tiaro quite well we found the easy way with the turn of our car tftf

We walked in to find this cache but when we saw the steep way down to find it we decided it was best not to do it due to being mature cachers but thanks for placing this cache for other cachers to find Sweet-Sour.

Had a barbed wire fence and a bit of an incline to negotiate when at about 11 metres from gz. Took some looking to eventually. In good condition. SL Tnx Sweet-Sour

I had it in the caching plan to come to Gympie today to do the (13) new ones that this CO had placed. I contacted Keith (Sweet-Sour) to see if he wanted to come for a drive as I anticipated he had at least two of his hides to maintain and he accepted the offer. Checked the internet last night and saw a new hide in Maryborough and 8 more from Sweet-Sour. Apologies for cut and paste logs as I have a lot to write.

I do not actively chase ftf but I will take them if I come across one or two or three or more. 38 hides in the plan today. 36 finds, 1 did not attempt as I did not have a ladder with me, and one
( The emperor ) I did not go out of my way to attempt as it was now dark on our return to Gympie.

No DNF's but came awfully close to one or two but persistent paid off. Left home at 0545 and arrived at the residence of Sweet-Sour at 0615. 486klmn drive today, home to home, and arrived home at 2000hours. Long day but there were many breaks along the way. We drove from Gunalda to Maryborough to Wolvi then to Cooran then to Kin Kin then to Mapleton then Amamoor then back to North of Gympie.

This was the next one in the plan and did not take long to find at all. Sweet-Sour tended to walk slightly away from each GZ leaving all the hard work to me and that is what should happen as it gives the CO a good chance to check his placed co ordinates. Keih and I nearly allways have a gapof about 3 meters. Not too difficult toi find with good co ordinates. I still do paper caching and only load a few at a time into my GPSr. Have the smart phone as a backup now but initially I was not going to load the APP.

Very good hide and the jpourney to this one was exciting. Thanks for the company and TFTC Sweet-Sour.

Yay another FTF Smile
Had some fun with this one.
Note to self, read the cache page before looking for the cache.
We parked on the side of the road and bush bashed towards the cache, some of the grass was taller than me. What we will do to find a cache Smile. Got to 3m from the cache and a 3m drop to were it was, too dangerous to go any further this way so back through the bush to the car. Did a uturn and drove back the way we had come and found where we could go off the road to the cache. Walked in and found the cache just below were we had been 10mins before.

What a great feeling when you open the cache and the log book is clean Smile
Another great cache
