Driven past these swans so many times. Searched previously on a hot day. Stopped today at dusk figuring it would stand out in torch light. Go that wrong too, but focused on a hidden area not visible from both sides
Find 7 of 11 with 2 DNFs on an afternoon bike ride around Midland.
Toughest hide of the day - two of us, on our second lap, before the little sucker showed itself.
TFTC GHFB!

Catching up on a few logs that I’ve never got around to sending. Please excuse the generic log. Thanks for the find.
Oh lord haha was a nice time to reflect and watch the cars go by I guess finally found it!!! Very hard to put the lid on tho and no room to write? Was a cute find
A methodical search eventually uncovered this sneaky hide.
TFTC GHFB this is find #8833 for us.

3rd find for today! Out geocaching with the geowife Alikat and Ghostrider70 TFTC
Hi there GHFB. TRR paired up with Mistraluna today and while out on the road we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to GHFB for this cache - our find 8576 and the 1st of 46 finds for the day.

We dropped past and had a methodical look for this one with a torch. That payed off and we spotted the little sucker after a couple of minutes.
We are still not fans of nanos but the blue face on the search screen bugged us into finding it.

Finally found this little sucker. A bit of a nemesis for me. Glad to get this one off my blue face list. TFTC
I can see how you could poke your eye out. Then you wouldn't be able to see the cache....So take care. TFTC
Boy this was a very sneaky hide to start our day with. Four of us searching and it still took us a good ten minutes. Tucked in out of view so definitely takes time.
We headed out very early in the morning before the festivities begun, thankfully we had a quick find here, one if us is the right height and we could actually see the cache, our name added and a smilie is claimed MERRY CHRISTMAS and TFTC
We had a look but after almost taking a bite from a spider by "feeling for it" decided we will mark this as a pass.
Thanks for the cache sorry we never found it.
Thanks for the cache sorry we never found it.
A solid mornings caching after attending the “why not” event on the Maylands Peninsula.
Had a good chat with everyone at the event and then enjoyed a lovely kayak to a blue dot that ad been on the map for far too long. Special thanks to KB for sharing her speed yak which got me to GZ in no time at all.
Then enjoyed a caching run which took me all the way out to Bellevue and surrounds. Thanks to the local COs for a good day out.

We found a tin on the ground no lid, feeling or way a little difficult with so ment spider webs didn't knew where the spider was
Another quick find with the geokids. Nano has lost it's rubber ring but the log is safe and dry. TFTC
Out and about with Kyzabra today giving the new wheels a workout and picking up a cache or two along the way. Have to say the Trusty Triton performed admirably.
Four DNF's on this one, that's right, four. Arrived at GZ for the 5th time and I'm not kidding my accomplice spotted it straight away. Unbelievable!!!
Pretty stoked to finally have a smiley here though.
GHFB I found your cache at 2:00pm, this was the 13th of 13 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 4836. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Headed out today with Granett. He had mentioned to me a few weeks ago a trip was needed and who was Intonsay No?
A few caches on the radar and we thought we’d “check out the scenery”
Was worried this might take some time as Granett had DNFd a few times. Imagine his frustrating when I said “got it” about 5 seconds after getting there.
GHFB, Kyzabra found your cache Black Swans, on 7/7/18. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
We’d love to see you at WA GOES BIG 2018 in Dunsborough on the weekend of 13th/14th October.

With not too much caching done by us recently we decided to rectify that and made plans to head north and cache our way towards the Swan Valley area. We left home nice and early and collected this cache along the way. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there GHFB, I was in this area today and found your cache Black Swans GC6T3AR. I added my name to the log book at 8:17 am on 3 June 2018. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This cache find brings our total find count to 9649. Woohoo!!

Find #25 of 365 streak. A Sunday meant for a slightly quieter road and made parking easier. It took me a few passes and spotted it from being on the right angle. TFTC
On our way out and thought we would just have a quick look. Signed and replaced. Marlee’s coins had a visit as well
Yay! Turn that frown upside down! Just about to give up when eagle-eyed geohubby spotted it. Great hide.
We have looked for this one before and today we just happened to be driving by so I thought another try was in order. After quite of bit of searching to the point where we were going to give up in defeat again, I just happened to look up and there it was. It really shouldn't have taken that long ........ TFTC GHFB!
Finally! With a bit of guidance from team 2Ns my hand finally found its mark and I can get this one off my watchlist
Took longer than it should have. As a visitor it was a place I didn't know about. TFTC SL
Out with Neva2old and I guess I was in the right place when I looked up and there it was. It was a bit tricky to get out of its hiding hole but with a pen I managed to move it enough to get my fingers on it. TFTC!!
woohoo finally found it. Well I was with Shortie27, she was still in the car reading previous logs looking for hints. Gets out of the car and goes "here it is" I had been looking for 5 minutes. So the log is signed and returned to its hideyhole. tftc
Looked for a good while but couldn't find it, apart from a lot of snails and spiders. Will come back when I have more time.
Looked for a while but couldn't locate. Will come back when I have more time.
Stopped in for another go at this one while out and about today. Lots of cobwebs and little snail things that felt like a nano on more than one occasion. Had to leave with a sad face again.
GHFB I couldn't find your cache, this was my 2nd DNF for the day. I did have 3 finds today so all is not lost.

No luck here. Found plenty of spiders but after 10 mins no cache had appeared so I decided to cut my losses and move on. Thanks anyway.
Had driven past this cache, on Roe, many times and thought must give that one a go sometime. Never happened until today as we were up this way doing the new walk along the river caches and made muggle husband stop here. He hid in the car while i grabbed my trusty bathroom mirror and headed over the road. ( not the mirror on the wall, just a hand held one) actually came in handy as i sussed out where it probably wasn't. Decided it had to be 'there' and there it was. Accessing it was not easy but figured if it fell i could get it easy enough. Tweezered it between 2 fingers and completed the signing duties before trying to get it back properly. Checked the other side to make sure it wasn't visible and then dashed back to the car. This really is a very busy road. Tftc. Appreciated the sculpture and the challenge.
3rd attempt at this one. Got a shadowy hint from a previous finder but after about 15 minutes I had to leave empty handed... again!
GHFB I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 2 finds today so all is not lost.

After a few hours of caching in the hills we headed to Bunnings for supplies & decided to find a few more caches before heading home
Being Sunday, the road was relatively quiet so we would have only provided amusement to half the traffic that would usually go by on this usually busy road... We searched here for quite some time & had quite a few a-ha moments only to realise that it was actually snails rather than nano's [:o)]
After feeling our way around the sculpture atleast 3 times, it was decided that was not the best approach after I laid my hands upon a huge redback Some time after and another couple of laps I eventually spotted the evil thing [^]
Thanks GHFB... Happy to cross this one off after passing by on the Roe atleast 100 times! Cheers

2nd dnf for us today but we did find a huge bush spider sleeping on her eggs or the cache. Either way we weren't going to wake her up to check
After a big day out with SVKR_WA chasing up some LGA's we thought we'd finish up by trying to grab a smiley on this previous DNF for me. Lots of little white sail thingy's over the structure today and a few spiders here and there we didn't really feel comfortable sticking our fingers in unseen places. Even checked various sections of the fence to no avail.
Might have to cheat a bit on this, previous finders beware.
GHFB I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 19 finds today so all is not lost.

After a long day out and about I managed to sneak out for a few caches late in the afternoon. This was the last one and it took me a while, but I was very happy to make the find!
Thanks for the cache GHFB!
Thanks for the cache GHFB!
Things are pretty desperate on my caching map with a very much stagnant, if not dying, number of caches available to find. After a DNF at my only other option, I rode here. I was pretty cold and wet so was relieved when the sun came out to shine. It made the lengthy search a lot more pleasant. My GPSr had be beyond the fence so I alternated searaching (as per the hint0 between the fence and the sculpture until I found the cache. I was worried about not being able to know where to put it backs so left it magnetised on the outside while I raced to my bike to grab a pen. Once the signing duties were complete, I spent another 5 minutes digging wet compacted sand from my bike cleats before a long and painfully slow ride back into West Perth into a head wind. Thanks for the hide; great that you have showcased what I'm sure would otherwise be a largely overlooked sculpture.
Headed out with Skippy 46 today to grab a few caches. We managed to find 14 but we also managed to get 5 DNFS. The weather wasn't to bad with most caches found quite quickly with a few that took a bit of searching. TFTC GHFB
Out with ooh yeh and this was on the list.
Nice art work and being a Sunday there wasn't that much traffic.
Not that it mattered because I jagged the find in the second place I felt.

FTF @ 4.20pm. Was pretty clear on arrival why there were a few DNF's on this one. Lucky for me I guess. Hint helped as it reduced the number of hiding spots to a manageable level. Great to make a first FTF. TFTC GHFB.
I did look around for a half hour but came up empty. My GPS was bouncing around a lot. I guess I can claim first to not find. Hehe.
Oh no I get to claim the second dNF . Looked around and around and around then checked out the surrounds . Said hello to a worker walking past with some parts for a job. Obviously well hidden and my cache radar isn't working
No luck today. Boohoo. I'll have to come back again. My phone was bouncing around.
After the FTDNF and STDNF I've come over from work to have a look. It's still where I left it.
Edit: Hint added.

Spent about ten minutes here poking and prodding various locations to no avail. My GPSr was pointing to one end of the structure, in fact it was urging me to go beyond the structure. Got quizzed by a worker on his bike so decided to leave.
I now see I'm not alone in the DNF brigade.
GHFB I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day.
