thanks for the event popcorn was good! my favorite movie was probably first to find hunter. and thank you for taking your time to do this
Another GIFF session attended, always an interesting mix of clips.
My sincere apologies for the late log. I have geocaching finds dating back to 2011 in my GSAK database that I am yet to log; amounting to several thousand un-logged finds across the last 9 years.
So, what to do when you find yourself in this administrative caching 'hole' nightmare? Well you seek out a 'personal assistant' (thanks GoodLook), to assist to remedy the situation of course! I thank the CO for accepting my tardy log and for your understanding.
Thank you Pinkpiggy7 for hosting this event.

Catching up on our logging from our road trip from Queensland to Anglesea for the Surf Coast Event. We managed to make it to the GIFF Event to watch some great little film clips and to meet a terrific bunch of geocachers from the area.
Thank you Pinkpiggy7 for organising the event and so warm and welcoming.

Thanks to the PP7 machine for organising this event. Even though I was a late starter I made it in time to see this cool collection of videos.
Thoroughly enjoyed catching up with some familiar faces

It doesn't get much better than coffee and a chat with like minded crazy people. Add in a fab bunch of short geocaching flicks and piles of wonderful, homemade popcorn and you've got a winner of a night. It was so good we stayed and watched them again....and had more popcorn. We even got to take some (well, a lot) home with us. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 crew, we had a great time
I have been battling the dreaded lurgy for five days and in fairness to others, cannot now attend this event. I hope it all goes well and that everyone has a great time.
Attended the first session. Great turnout and yummy popcorn. The films were really fun. Thanks to pinkpiggy7 for the event.
Had a blast watching the submissions. The Room was doubled over in laughter at times. There's already talk about putting together a submission for next year's festival! Should be fun!

Having missed out last year, I was very curious on what maybe ahead of us. I dobbed in the 4 of us & I'm sure under their breaths they would have prefered to be home but ......... what a great night. Intimate, great company and highly entertaining submissions. I honestly was expecting very ordinary submissions & was going to apologise for putting the family through it but they talked about it all the way home. I laughed .... far to hard at some parts. So nice to see my favs TeamThommo, OzHockey Chick and the wonderful Bert & Danielle. Our caching time has been very limited of late but I'm so glad I can sit in a room & people are feeling the same thing and we share the same jokes. Thank you PP7 & (Sealteam4l for the venue) for organising this event. Really great way to start the week-end, a good laugh, cuddle with my boys, hearing them giggle and reflections of this great hobby we ever so love.
Arrived late to find a bunch of people doing weird dancing in the hall and wondered what I'd got myself and stinky bob into but thankfully we were met by one of the geo kids (I assume) and shown the way in.
Had fun watching the films, some cracked us up, others were weird (german rituals) but all in all a nice evening.
Nice to meet you finally Pinkpiggy7 and thanks for setting this up.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).

Great films, great popcorn. TFTC Pinkpiggy team. I like catching up with other cachers and starting to match caching names with real names and feel part of the community.
Well there was some great video's and some interesting ones but was a fun to watch thanks pinkpiggy7 for the event and the laughs.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for hosting a great event and giving us plenty to laugh about and yummy popcorn to top of the night. I don't think I have laughed that much in a while.
Found gz, no probs. Ok, I did try to get L plater draggedalong to drive in the wrong way...great supervising driver! Heard some noise, so walked in to a dance class! Ooops. Oh, the door I needed was the one with the signs pointing to it. A great laugh and catch up. Compliments to the chef. Thanks for bringing us together.
After Mum, tassieexpat, tried to get me to drive in the wrong way, we got to catch up with a couple of friends and meet some other geocachers. Funny clips, great popcorn. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for putting this on.
Well I guess we attended, better have or there wouldn't have being a movie.
Firstly a big thanks to #sealteam4, for organising the venue, our first thoughts were to use our lounge room, but based on the turnout I am so glad we didn't, poor Misty would have run a mile, Thanks #Sealteam4.
we did our head count, 30 for the first session and 19 for the second, great turn out and thanks to the attendee's.
It appears the popcorn was a success, contact Geo Danielle for her secret recipe, she spent a couple of hours making 11 batches in our tiny popcorn maker.
Interesting combination of movies, may give us some inspiration to enter one next year. Good to hear the audience had a laugh or 10.

One half of Sneakygeokids were at the event tonight. I had a great time, the movies were great.
Glad everyone enjoyed the popcorns and short films

This one turned out harder than it should have for us. We were booked on the first session but work obligations got in the road and we got home just in time to head up the hill and hope there was room in the second sitting, which there was.
This is our second Giff event and we think the short films were of better quality/funnier this year so a big thank you to the teams that made the effort to make them for our pleasure.
As always at events we had a good time catching up with old friends and adding faces to names we had only heard of.
A big thank you to Pinkpigg7 for organising the event, also to #sealteam4 for there part in making it happen and last but by no means least a very big thank you to Geo Danielle for the great introductions and the best popcorn we have ever tasted.

Another "entertaining" set of GIFFs this year. Lovely to catch up with fellow cachers for an evening of chats, laughs, and popcorn!
Thanks Danielle, Pinkpiggy7 and #SEALTeam4 for the fun!

Had planned to go alone, but Geodaughter wanted to go too. Lucky it was a Friday night and not a school night. Our first GIFF event with some really good, interesting ideas presented, even to a 6 yr old Geodaughter eating popcorn while on my lap. And some of the best, if not the best popcorn on hand. Compliments to the chef for that. Well done to all for organizing the night.
A bit of a chuckle watching this years GIFFs, and some yummy popcorn provided as well. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 and co.

Lately my caching seems to be working around events and this was another one.
This was my first film night, there were some very good films and lets say some others but there was a good laugh and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
**Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for organising this event and showing us the films.**

Finally the main event for today, the prestigious Upper Beaconsfield Geocaching International Film Festival woohoo haha, the event was really good and i thoroughly enjoy both the films and the company. Not going to lie some of the movies were a bit average but most of them were pretty good . Anyway thanks for the event I always like attending events to catch up with some new and familiar faces, I hope to see everyone in the future

Huge thanks Guys for putting this on and an extra huge thanks for the popcorn.
The main reason for my and buhfuhguh's presence in Upper Beac today. An enjoyable half hour of conversation about all things geo-caching led straight into the reel. Some of the short films were...shall we say....a little painful but they were easily counter-balanced by a couple of gems.
All in all a fun hour and a half. Thanks for hosting the event PP7 and #SealTeam4 for arranging the venue.

So this is my first GIFF...and it was awesome to attend. Thank you so much to pinkpiggy7 for hosting it, and #sealteam4 for the venue. I really enjoyed watching these films...i did love the one from the USA...with all the instruments...i just can't think of what song it is...if anyone knows...please let me know. I'm kicking myself right now. But once again, thank you so much.
We had to stay for both of the shows because my mum had to close all of the rooms. I loved watching all of the videos we might make one next year and thanks for all of that delicious popcorn. TFTE
The plan is to attend. Has to be session 2 as the 'hugs and kisses' doesn't get home until after 7 to take over looking after the geokids who are too young to stay quiet and still for an hour. TBC.
Will attend, but need to leave at 2100 to pick up one half of draggedalong from Scouts. Please reserve a seat for myself +1 (could be frmen1 if off work in time or eldest draggedalong).
I did not realise all the goodness to be found around this event. I think I ought to come up and clear some of the area out. +1 for an attendance.
Oh no miss out to go there. I will go away to Ballina but will go to Lismore for GIFF..
Due to unprecedented demand we have had to add a second session.
Session times are now:-
Session 1 - 7.00pm-8.00pm
Session 2 - 8.15pm-9.15pm
All current will Attends have being included in session 1, if you would like to change to the later session let us know, and we will update the table at the bottom of the cache page.
The GIFF has also being approved as an official Groundspeak viewing so a souvenir will be earned for attendance.
Our sponsor Misty Blue treasures has also agreed to provide popcorn on the night (we just need to find a bulk supplier).
Hope to see you all there.
