Thanks to the committee for putting on another great event. I was only able to attend for a couple of hours due to other commitments, but it was great to catch up with a number of familiar faces and see the great work that is being done to promote our hobby.

### WA Goes Big 2017 Adventure (Not Rally) ###

We have two prizes in the form of $50 vouchers to give away for the Action Bound adventure run on Sunday,

From most accounts everyone seem to have a good time and only a couple of teams suffered some technical glitches that saw them having to retire early. Despite my (AlliedOz) haphazard info session at the beginning you all seemed to grasp the app quickly and work out the different stages and get into it, a whole lot faster than I had counted on.

Next time I will remember my notes so you get all the info needed before we send you on your way. Some Data

Plenty of activity and great to see so many happy faces.

The dust has settled, the hall has been cleaned, the weeds pulled, and the trees planted. Another WA Goes Big is under our belt.

Our official adjudicator is feverishly reviewing the photos and results from the games. We should have a winner by Thursday for you all.

Great to at least be able to sign the log book and catch up with a few groups. Unfortunately duty called and I was needed at work after planning it off a few months back. Looked to be a great success and great organising skills to the committee! TFTE

What a totally awesome event ! Everything from friendly folk , top organisation and a top saturday night meal, this event had it all, lots and lots of new faces made the five hour flight and four hours of total of driving so worth the effort !
We would like to thank the organisers for their efforts to make this a flawless event !! we easteners can learn some from this, the caches we found in most were some of the best yet a Router have seen, not a mint tin in sight !! just gotta luv that !
in closing we highly recommend anyone thinking of attending next year , JUST DO IT ! you wont be disappointed.

Yes, of course Mary & David were there again. After another trip across the iconic Nullarbor, a couple of days in wet Albany, several walks along the Busselton Jetty, and a few purchases around Margaret River, we arrived in Rockingham with the sunshine. Dome, glorious Dome, so close to the Event HQ - we wish they would open some branches in Victoria. Another wonderful site with all the facilities needed, and we were in. Such smooth registration , collection of a goodies bag and great Event shirts - we now have quite a collection from previous Events and Megas, as you can imagine. Everyone so friendly, and we were delighted to meet RichLink, Mistraluna and HeidiSeeki, whose caches we have enjoyed down south. Mary particularly enjoyed socialising and giving pathtags to the children. So many Rockingham highlights - the water, wattle, sculptures, wildflowers, and of course some cunning caches. ValoForce and roymerc caches in one location - does it get better than that? Saturday was a blur of people, hugs, old friends, new friends, pathtags, TBs, a superb dinner and, to our surprise, our name was drawn for the Activity Bingo prize. Quite humbling to be acknowledged for a lot of smilies, but we thank all those cache owners who have changed our lives . Hopefully we will continue to be sound of mind and limb for some years yet, and can return next year. Thank you WA! Retrieved "Oooh Handbags!" TB, "CaseyOne" TB and the "Insider" geocoin. Thanks for the great effort put into these events! We really appreciate the chance for a bit of fun!

Was great to see everybody and do some caching in the beautiful weather. Can not wait for next year.

We drove down to Rockingham with our caravan in tow, our first trip down to Perth in over a year and the first time to Rockingham in perhaps a decade or more. So much has changed, we had so much fun looking around.

The event was another great one, well worth the drive - we really enjoyed catching up with some of our old geocaching buddies and meeting a few new ones. All too soon it was over unfortunately, we now have next year to look forward to.

Thanks to all who made this spectacular possible, sorry we weren't able to join the grand finallie at the tree planting but was unable to find somewhere to park our Landcruiser and caravan as space was tight.

It was my first time to attend great event after missed for a few years. I was glad that I took this opportunity finally. Well done.

Well another Fabulous WAGB passes by. It is great to see all the hard work come into fruition.

It was great to chat with experienced (old) and new cachers over the weekend. It was great to catch up with cachers from Interstate that I have met at other events.

Awesome event

As expected the weekend turned out great for the event. Met up with a few fellow geocachers and learnt a couple of new things from the information sessions. I even managed to pick up a few geocaches in the area. Luckily this was done in good company otherwise I may have missed a few. Purchased some goodies and picked up three trackables to drop off into other geocaches. All in all it was a great well organised event. Many thanks to the organizers and volunteers that helped make the event a success.

Oops, forgot to log that I had dropped off a few more trackables at the WA Goes BIG 2017 event. Luckily, I kept a record of them.

WHOOP! My first WAGB event! Managed to catch up to a few familiar faces, met a few faces I could put names from logs to, had dinner and had a great time.

Thanks to the WOG Crew (Doesnt quite sound right) for all the effort put in by each of you. Could see that you mob couldnt even sit back and enjoy the ride as you should have like we could as there was still more to do on the day. Much appreciated.

What a fantastic event, I took my son along with me and after running about meeting new friends and old, trying to complete the competition forms we found ourselves missing the 'started caching in 2017 section' and I kept saying to him we should get him his own account. Later in the day we did just that and we went off and found a few caches coming back to sign his name in the event log so he could claim the find. I think we managed to get him an event, puzzle, multi, wherigo and a traditional in the same day!!
Enjoyed a GSAK session and when arriving home promptly brought a copy!!
Great effort [^] and fantastic turnout , cant wait to come to WAGB18!!

Once again WestOz Geocaching you have put on a magnificent event. Shame I could only stay for the Saturday and not the entire event.
Had some great info sessions in which will prove invaluable to me in my caching missions.
Grabbed some caches while here as you do and ticked over 900 finds. Now to get to the 4 digits of 1000 before the end of the year. That's the plan anyway
