In the area and trying for this month's souvineer. We cleared the area of leaves but sadly found nothing. Spread the search but no luck here.
This one was quite exposed when I found it but I tucked it back into it's corner. Thanks so much for these caches! I have decided I really like slitherlinks after doing this series.
Found it! My mum tells me there's a good croquet club around here somewhere! TFTC!
Team G0LD: Geocachers 0B80B8, Lis's crew and DaffyNZ are down from Whangarei for a few days. We've all solved the 4 big geoarts so they are the main target for the trip. Of course there were many other puzzles solved as well which filled in the 24th. The 25th was the Smurfs and Fresh Breath. 26th was Rattle and Horses. We certainly made a great dent in my solved puzzle list but I'll still have enough for another trip.
The description says with boot camp out of the way here's an easy puzzle. Actually I really struggled with boot camp and was much happier doing all the others. This was another puzzle I solved on the ipad back in July 2021. Another easy find on a very enjoyable day exploring many of Christchurch's parks. Thanks for this great series of puzzle caches

Team G0LD ( 0B80B8, Lis's crew & DaffyNZ ) on a caching mission to Christchurch. We had travelled down from Whangarei yesterday, so today was our first full day to get into it.
Solved puzzles were going to be the main focus of our trip. We had spent a lot of 2020 and 2021 solving over 400 puzzles, so we had a lot on our list. Thankfully the weather looked like it was going to play ball today, as caching in the rain is always just that bit harder.
I enjoyed these slitherlink puzzles (mostly ) and this one was a nice quick find in the hint location. Picked up the TB to move it along. TFTC

A quick puzzle to solve and just as quick to find. Thanks StreetWalkerNZ

An easy version of slitherlink puzzles and a nice easy find once we found our way in.
This took me quite some time to find and had almost given up when I relooked at a spot I thought I had checked and there it was safe and sound. Cache is in good order. GPS was pointing to a nearby tree so the hint was very helpful. TFTC
I tried a Slitherlink closer to home, but it is still resisting me. I tried the boot camp, but I still can't get a hold of it. this one was really easier compared to the rest. Probably the smaller grid help work out the various options and discard the ones that don't work faster. I was impressed by the container. Well done and secured, as well as weatherproof. Both the container and logbook were in very good condition, especially after hiding for almost a year! Thanks for the cache!
Haven't had much luck with Boot camp, but this was a comparative breeze to solve! Another area I have never visited before. Found on a gorgeous Winter day after a chilly night. TFTC and the puzzle, now working on big Bro'!!
Solved the puzzle and made my way to the cache, but once I found it (in the dark at 10pm) I heard a neighbor calling out asking if anyone was out there, eek! Made a dash back to my car with the cache to sign, then returned to the spot via the less noisy route to put it back. TFTC!
I really enjoy the challenge of these puzzles after a series of them were published at home. This one was solved quickly - several others in this series are in various phases of the process. I was checking somewhere else when I spotted something here that looked a little suss. Sure enough there was the cache nicely hidden away. TFTC # 14,403
Had so much fun solving these puzzles, top priority to collect them today and really appreciate the great hints on the cache page. Managed to find them all, many thanks for the puzzles and the cache placements. Cheers
Having spent hours and hours solving slitherlinks, we decided today was the day to retrieve 7 of them. This one was lying in the open. We replaced in the nook in which it was supposed to be. TFTC!
Another nice and fun-to-solve slitherlink, which Schlotte and I collected finally this evening.
Nice place for urban caching and perfect description.

I finished work in good time for once this week, so I stopped for a few on the way home, mostly on the way. I underestimated the number of kids lingering around after school, but luckily they were all far enough at all gz's I visited! I probably accessed this one from the wrong side, oops! TFTC!!!
I really like these slitherlink puzzles. I have a few of them solved now only after giving up on the bootcamp one. Today junior cacher and I spent the afternoon collecting a few solved puzzle caches and discovering new playgrounds. Tftc!
This was the first mystery I solved so it is very satisfying to log it today. TFTC
It's a tough job getting time to sit down and solve puzzles like this with a couple of wee wombles in the house, so the puzzles in this series have been a slow solve since publication. Decided to head out today and make a few finds. No problems locating the cache today. Thanks for the puzzle, and the cache.
Visiting Chch from Nelson on business with time to collect some puzzle caches. I solved this puzzle series last year with some certainly very challenging. Nice to be able to complete the paper work on this one.

Ever since seeing one of these on DT series, I was intrigued to try and actually solve some slitherlink. So I started with Bootcamp... and failed. After multiple messages to the CO, now I think I got that one at last! [:o)] Meanwhile, while still struggling with BC, I got into the next one - the rectangular.
Today was in the area and came to make a quick grab at GZ.

We only had 4 of the series solved before we came south this trip. Slithers are not Mrs Sobad's favourite puzzles although she does intend to try the others before our next trip. This was the first one we looked for today and a straightforward find to match the straightforward puzzle.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks, StreetWalkerNZ - out for CCC with my clever buddy purdiepurdie who had solved this puzzle; GZ looked familiar - and I see that I have found a cache nearby previously.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
TFTC. Out for Sunday CCC with kotukuSI. This one has been in my solved pile for too long. I have decided to try and pickup all my solved caches while they are still active. Now I do have to look a bit harder at the others in this series.
Thanks StreetWalkerNZ for creating the puzzle and cache.

Headed out on a Monday Mad Mission with TG. I needed to polish off a few puzzles and trads and TG had already found all of the ones tonight, so I had personal chauffer tonight. We were muggled about five times tonight. We had a laugh after we go muggled while under a tree in a park. TG and I have found a few thousand caches together and that must have been the first time we got muggled like that. I wanted to get my numbers as close to 5000 tonight so I was left with a milestone of my chosing. We got there I ended up getting 4999. The caches were grand and puzzles too. Thanks for the hard work.
Thanks for the cache StreetWalkerNZ.

Cache number two on the way to work today. Quick find. The bag inside felt damp, but the log is fine.

These puzzles are always agood mind stretcher, some work out the first time and others take quite a few goes. Howver, with all of them solved it's just a matter of being in the area and picking them up, so found two of them today. Thanks for the puzzle, all good fun and the kids had fun finding this cache with me. Cheers
Quick find. I have been to this location in the past for a different cache which has obviously been archived. This one is tucked in a good location. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Today was a calendar day challenge for me. So after work I found this geocache. The puzzle was a challenge.
Find out more about New Zealand's next big event [Oamaru Geofest](http://oamarugeofest2017.wixsite.com/geocachingevent)
Thanks. StreetWalkerNZ for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 4882 for me.

A nice morning to be out and about to find our first Slitherlink cache.
+ a marble, - nothing.
+ a marble, - nothing.
This Slitherlink was a nice straight forward solve. Stopped by late today to make an equally easy find. Thanks.
Solved the puzzle. (I like doing these). Took an early morning walk and found it. Second day in Christchurch, visiting from USA (New Mexico) TNLNSL. Thanks.
After a reboot of the gps all my solved gpx files have popped up...yuppie. when I 1st started geocaching there was a traditional here. I guess no long. Max and I hunted free from muggles eyes and boom a nice cache found quickly. Max and I then had a play on the near by swings.... weeeeee Thank you StreetWalkerNZ for placing and maintaining Slitherlink Rectangular Grid (6x6) geocache, from Mr Cuddly Brick Found on this awesome day the 25 January 2017, sweet cache number # 1663
Tried boot camp and failed to really get what I was meant to do but managed this one ok. The others look like they'll be a different kettle of fish. Thanks for the cache!

An absolutely gorgeous day weatherwise, in the 30's!! - and I had some errands to run in town, so decided while I was at it to head over towards the port hills for a little bit of a walk with the baby & find some caches - I'm actually pretty close to actually achieving the goal I set myself out when beginning maternity leave of being able to fit all my unfound caches within 80KM of home into one pocket query - It was a bit ambitious, but I was 100 short of achieving at the point baby was born, and now when she's 12 weeks old, I'm only 25 caches short. (People keep publishing which makes it harder too - argh!! )
After the walk, I still had a bit of time, and these were semi on the way - I'd solved them a while back, nearer when they were first published - love these puzzles!!!
I did realise after a while that I'd been searching in the wrong place - a place actually where I had been for a cache previously, but almost didn't recognise it now, as it was dark then, and I'd come from the other side.
Once I was in the right spot, It was simple as!
TFTC!!

In Christchurch on a work visit. I had a bit of spare time to myself today so headed off to find some caches. I cut my teeth on the Nelson versions of these puzzles so when I noticed a few had popped up down here I had to have a go at them. Didn't manage to solve them all before this trip but there's always next time. GPS bounced around a bit at GZ but I finally managed to put my hand on the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Solved by my daughter who loves these puzzles, and she was even able to assist with finding the cache while we used up a few spare minutes as we made our way to West Melton for a wedding reception while in town today.
Initially went to the wrong hint item as we weren't too focused on the GPS and were making a presumption - we found another very water laden cache container and logsheet, presumable an archived cache. Realising we probably hadn't found what we were looking for we then went paid attention to the GPS and found the cache, neatly and safely hidden.

The GPS bounced to start with which had me at the opposite corner, but it soon settled and pointed me in the right direction. First find of the series after solving all but the boot camp, which ironically is the one I am having the most trouble with...?? It wasn't long until I was addicted to these puzzles and went searching online for more! Took two TBs. TFTC (3312)
Making my way to the truck-stop for some cheaper fuel I made a small diversion to sign off this slitherlink puzzle. Just as well I had my gummies on else my shoes would have got soaked in the long wet grass as I walked to GZ. [^] Thanks for the cache. Mmmmm I don't know whether I'll ever have the patience to solve harder slitherlinks than this one.. This one taxed me.[xx(]
I've been here before, though the hide is in a slightly different place. A nice quick find, cheers.
A quiet weekend at home, and a wee drive to the Victoria Park, and other about town places, to pick up some smiley's.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Happy to find that there are much easier versions of these puzzles than the one we started with and eventually got a FTF on **GC5WF3C** for cachers wanting a next level challenge...
I think these are my favourite puzzle type now and I was happy to discover a whole lot more to work through, so thanks for these StreetWalkerNZ

Didn't get very far with the Boot Camp puzzle but I did get the gist of how to solve Slitherlinks. This puzzle didn't cause me too much trouble and today I came out to find the cache. The area was deserted so the cache was quickly found. TFTC.
Another puzzle that I found easier than the guide.... Solved upon publication and called past on my way to work. Quick easy find after finding my way in, found the exit much easier, why didn't I try that? Thanks for the effort that goes into these puzzles and hides.
I suppose a cache is a cache no matter how you found it!!! Found the black bag exactly as described and in a place unknown to us;----and right in the middle of town. Thanks.
Solved easily but checksum wrong, solved again another way and checksum correct. Much easier than Boot Camp. Solved 2 or 3 or 4 of the easier Nelson ones. Passing by so stopped off for a quick find and sign. Cache (still in bag) was actually sitting on the dirt in the open right beside the hidey hole?! Weird. Doesnt look to have been muggled. Signed, added TB, returned tucked back!
Managed to solve this one with friendly help but we don't seem to be able to get an answer to Bootcamp. TFTC
A bitterly cold Sunday afternoon, so we remained mostly inddors and I decided to have another look at an unsolved D / T puzzle. I was getting nowhere and thinking about giving up (again!) when I noticed the notifications of a few new local puzzles. This was by far the closest to home, so printed off a few copies of the grid and set to work.
Got to a stage when I had no idea what strategies I needed to continue, so decided guesswork would have to do . I must have guessed correctly because soon I had a completed loop. Now to the number crunching and was most surprised to get the check sum!
Wrapped up warmly and set off en bicyclette to GZ, which I was happy to find deserted (unlike yesterday's Boot Camp) but I this could be a different story at certain times. Cache was a quick find - nicely tucked away and what a great camo bag . Thanks for the puzzle, and I suspect I will need to do some homework before tackling a bigger grid . TFTC.
