Logs
We are beginners, and it is confusing that the geolocatuon shows in the middle of the road.
Along our way back to the estate to finish the AdLab and find some more caches after a super rainy few days. Thank you for placing and maintaining so we can enjoy the search and find
Macfam41 found it on our 2nd attempt. I've tried to find this cache recently but the area was so overgrown & needed maintenance. While driving to my daughter's place today I noticed that some serious trimming had been completed so thought I give it another crack. I don't know why, but the GPS was bouncing around like crazy. At one point it had me on the other side of the road, then had me heading down the street past the seat to the nearby lamp post. Finally sanity prevailed & the cache soon at hand once I read the description & some previous activity logs. The log sheet is now seriously full & needs replacing. TFTC
My daughter found it and thought it was hard but she found it quickly. Easyyyyy
Soooo overgrown. And alittle harder to find, but with hints etc we managed to locate it
Tricky but fun one! Adding to the diversity of experiences related to this parallel world of exploration!
Many a lot of ivy here! after a while I realised there would only be one place the cache would be, and that was not where I had been searching. Yep, there it is!---I hired a car to run a bunch of errands, one of which is to solve a bunch of multis in Paraparaumu, ready for collecting on a multi-cache dot-days. So, yes, solved about 7 or 10 and confirmed their hides, but forgot to review the others I had solved here. Probably incorrectly as I had not been able to locate the caches earlier. Oh well, another trip. And of course I got a few finds. Because, well, you know, all work and no play... makes a grumpy seagnoid. And yeah, we don't want a grumpy seagnoid.Rained on and off all day. Light rain, but enough that I had to wear a raincoat for the whole day.
A Saturday afternoon bike ride led me here. The cache is in good order. It may or may not have slipped down from a different position but I returned it to exactly where I found it. TFTC
Nice quiet area at the time of my visit. Even stopped raining momentarily! TFTC!!South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - MEGA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!
Chasing a few caches in this area as doing a numbers challenge. Muggles mum showed interest in joining so off we went - grabbing caches inbetween the stormy thunderous weather.
An easy find and all tucked away again with a replacement zip bag. TFTC

Took a wee bit of looking, as the coords looked to be in the middle of the road. Used my headed and made a quick find in the end. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off for a wee break "up north" and today we cruised around the Kapiti Coast. Cyclone Gabrielle has had little effect hear that I can see. There was light rain with some strong wind gusts in the morning and this cleared up in the afternoon..
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Like others before us the coordinates had us on the other side of the road but I struck lucky and found the cache in what I thought would be the obvious hiding place. TFTC

The GPS had us on the middle of the road for this one, so that didn't help as it could be on either side.
Soon figured it out and dove into the garden for the find.

An early morning start to find some caches in Paraparaumu before Kapiti Geocachers Community Celebration Event in Waikanae. Thanks hawker007 for the cache.
we dnf the first time, my mum did but was unsure that this was the cache! came back about 20 mins later and she told me about the container and found it right away!!
Nice easy find. As others have said, it’s on the other side of the road rather than the logged coordinates! TFTG!
Looked but couldn't find it. A bit overgrown at the moment, so going to come back another time.
A nice quick find here. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its place all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
A walk around the estuary reserve then a slight detour and cache in hand. Thanks for the cache.
Nice quick find after reading the hint and previous logs. Wished I’d been more organised and done this one at the same time as some others in Paraparaumu. I feel like I’ve visited the same area several times. Being new to the area, I am a bit confused by the street layout! Thanks to the CO for the cache.
Quick find this morning once a young muggle family had strolled by and a pair of cyclists had ridden by the other way. A find on International Geocaching Day.
Even with all the rain we've had recently the log was still dry. No problems in signing.
Thanks for the cache.

My GPS had me in the middle of the road by so it was my choice left or right. Right ️
Found with little blue hen after work today. Put a new mint tin in place after swapping the log. Left old tin there as well. Should last a while longer. Tftcsl
Had to pick up bkj97 from the college having sent him to work for the day relieving. As we had nothing else planned it seemed an ideal opportunity to turn this one into a smiley. Having read previous logs we came prepared with a new container and soon had the old rusty tin in hand. Replaced after transferring the log into a brand spanking new lidded mint tin and back ready for the next finder. T4tcsl
Went for a late afternoon walk from Mazengarb Reserve along the walkway to this cache. Found it with no difficulty. #4744. TFTC.
After reading some previous logs I headed over to the other side of the road to make an quick find. Left a new piece of waterproof log paper, but as previously noted the mint tin needs replacing, TFTC
Nice quick find but as others have said, on opposite side of ride in obvious place. Log wet and maintenance needed but we were able to sign. With . KTG
Nice and simple find with KTG. Cache needs maintenance. Log is soaking and nearly finished. Have placed it so that it does not get filled with water if it rains as there is no lid. TFTC
As per other posts, found on opposite of the road, in the most obvious place. No lid, needs maintenance
We were coming down to the Kapiti coast area tomorrow to visit a family member so decided to come a day early and get caching to gain elevation on the latest Peak Challenge. We mainly focused on Ad Labs but also associated or nearby caches. We were a bit concerned after yesterday’s storm and flooding but we had a perfect day, except for some wetness underfoot at times, especially in the wetlands!
This was our final cache for the day and we stopped at it en route to our AirBNB. As others have said the coords are out so we used geo-sense and soon located it. As already noted too it is in a bad state - lidless, rusty and fairly manky. Needs some CO TLC. TFTC

Handy reading previous logs, as already mentioned by several others, coordinates are way off. Easy find once you know this.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Having read that the coords were way out and deducing where it was from Street View I didn't even take the GPS with me and went straight to the cache, picked it up and made a beeline for the seat. Evidently a previous logger as added a usable log sheet and equally evident is that the CO has shown no interested in maintenance request to fix the container and disposing of the unusable log squashed into the bottom of the rust box. Seems like a good place for a cache though. TFTC.
Didn’t find it as gps was on the other side of the road, have read peoples messages and now know where it is, may go back and have another look
It is there and an easy find. Needs a new lid and someone has put a temp log in. With Nanniekerr.
Found that after good read of logs. Phone gps & map had the cache across the road.
Thanks
Thanks
GPS had the cache in the middle of the road. Look for the obvious sign. Took @peadub and I longer than it should have. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Quick and easy find.. Was expecting it to be about 14m ahead in a logical spot, but was still easily found. The container has no "cap" on it and is rusting slowly. Thanks for the cache. Did with Ezratar.
Cache dry and able to be signed but container seen better days. Glad to find this one after striking out with 4 others today. Tftc
Out caching with TharntheHalken. Coordinates had us in the middle of the road, but looked around, used geo-sense, and made a fairly quick find. Container missing lid, but log has stayed dry. Tftc!
We were out and about collecting a few caches after completing the near by Hemi Matangi track. We stopped here as we were passing. No problems making the find here.
Thanks for putting it here for us to find.
Thanks for putting it here for us to find.
Opposite side to where my phone said it should be. Log still dry, but cache missing lid.
The post covid streak continues. I was working just around the corner and having finished my job was happy to see this close by. The container has seen better days having no lid, and I replaced it as best as I could to keep it hidden and dry. TFTC
Thanks hawker007 and #Road Runner for placing this cache
Found in the obvious spot... unfortunately the log was too wet to sign so I added a new strip of paper in a new plastic bag - hope it lasts
