Lots of muggles around today but we managed to find, sign and re hide in this lovely sunny day
Out for a morning of Horowhenua caching with Etherlord and TwigNZ - great company and helped to knock off a few DNFs We came to the Adventure Park to pick up a small human Etherlord was looking after - this lil new friend helped us find this micro (treasure) and rehide carefully for us. Great job, e hoa! This park is awesome - I remember the whole Tokomaru School would come here when my kiddos were wee, for the end of year trip, returning later in the afternoon tired and full of sausage sizzle and ice cream. Mihi ki a koe, kaurigirl, mo te keteroki #323
Another cache I could not find last time I was here. I am on a roll today, having a great time clearing DNFs, converting blue frownies into nice yellow smileys. And you are right - a nice place to stop. Well, just over there, near the car park, is the nice place to stop!Bugger though. The last finder does not know how to use a rubber seal! The thing was on so tight I had to get some tools out.
I couldn't find the micro, it was a very cold morning, so we also didn't look for too long
Finally! Every time we pass thru Levin we have looked for this - finally today a smiley face! Tftc
On a family holiday driving up the coast. Stopped at Levin as we are big fans of miniature railways. Circumnavigated Park on the little train then I went to find the cache. Quick find thanks very much.
Working in Levin for the weekend. After breakfast I had a few spare minutes before my customer was expecting me and this was sorta on the way.Drove to the nearest point and parked next to the awesome dog rest area. Geodog would have loved this little area but would have wanted to come assist in the search. Looked at GZ and the hint and rolled my eyes.... this is gonna be fun... HOWEVER first place I put my hand.... YOU BEAUTY!!OK better go see my customer....TFTC
Checked bolts on each panel on either side of the gates (checked gates too) we must be blind lol. We will be back
No luck today. It was still a nice place to stop and see how well used the park was by so many people. What a fantastic park.
Day #4 of the Team SEAC extra long weekend little road trip for Labour Weekend. With 5 of us looking I was hopeful we could make the find but unfortunately no luck for us today. We read previous logs and still came up blank. Was awesome to see how well used this park is...I know its the long weekend but it was nice a busy!!!
Driving from Taupo to Wellington today with a few caching detours on the way.I wasnt planning to stop here and then I got the call as I entered the Levin environs. The family were having a break at this park. After theyd finished with the awesome flying fox they came with me to GZ. I looked in many possible hiding places and then Missy B made the found it call. A good hide and a great first cache.TFTC
While doing part of an Adventure Lab I thought I would quickly not so quickly grabbing this cache, all good here, tftc kaurigirl
Funny find. The only reason I was able to find it was because of the photos. it REALLY blends in with the environment.
#100 Special cache find for my 100th find on my Levin run. Log is damaged so I cannot sign it. Replaced good hide back to where I found it. Fav point from me. TFTC.

Heart sunk a bit on arriving at GZ, thought it might be like a needle in a haystack but fortunately my eye spotted something slightly off. The cache blends in nicely with the weathering. TFTC

We're staying in Levin for a few nights while we slowly make our way south to Wellington to catch a ferry. We saw this cache was close by so went looking, and Mr nzk was first to spot it. All good here. TFTC kaurigirl.
A nice quick find. Not too many people in the park today. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Heading home and we spent a couple of nights in Levin. Much drier conditions than the last couple of days, but still a few showers.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Two day trip to Palmy with the family for a holiday break and to visit the Lido Swimming Pool for the geokids. Did a few caches on the way there, whilst there and unfortunately none successful on the way back. Did with Mycro Man and Ezratar. This cache had us screwed once before, but this time was a really quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache. The kids enjoyed the stop here playing on all the apparatus.
Out on a Pre Christmas adventure with Hamish.D
As the title suggests this was a nice place to stop. Poppy The GeoStaffy was ready to go for a run around and this was the perfect spot. Very well camouflaged cache that definitely took a minute to find. FP from me. TFTC

Out today with [JordanD125](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d447c422-3a9c-47f1-8ab9-9610b3913050) doing a bit of last minute Christmas shopping for geocache finds.
Our 11th find today and after looking for a "Nice Place to Stop" so Poppy the Geo-Staffy could have a bit of a run around, we settled on this location as there was just something about the title!
I have seen a few of these types of hides and personally could take 'em or leave 'em as they often get used in not entirely appropriate situations.
This one was great though because I didn't have to find it as JordanD125 did the spotting and retrieving and all I had to do was sign it.

A year ago NZ went into a sudden Covid-19 Lockdown, so I have a few geocaches to find this month to complete the 4th loop of 366-find calendar. Today I need two and I chose this one on the way to Twig's local event. Indeed, a great place to stop; a coffee, clean public toilets, a place to let Maggie the geohound out - and a geocache. No problem with the cache. All good here. TFTC
Stopped by this morning, thwarted by a picnicking family close to GZ. Returned this afternoon, park busier, but able to make the find unobtrusively. I see that Phronimos has been here before me today. All good in cache, tftc!
Nice easy cache it took longer to put log back in than finding it. We are driving up to Wellington for a super short notice trip and this was at our lunch break. TFTCSL signed in fresh logbook
I'm ashamed by how long it took for me to find this cache I was expecting one of those classic nano caches and this is my first time coming across a cache of this type
Found it eventually! But like others have said, log book is full
Writing was very faded on slot 26 so I just added my name to that part
Thank you so much for the cache!

Quick stop at the adventure playground before heading home. Noticed there was a cache here, so across the field we strolled. Beady eyed junior was on to this in a flash. Great hide. Log book is full, managed to find one last space to squeeze our name in.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Amazing. Such a cool little thing I thought it was a part of it. Log book full so couldnt log.

I'm NUTS about this cache.

No joy for me today! Spent about 5 mins looking but was struggling to be stealthy with all the teenagers watching me hunt around in the bushes. Maybe next time!!
Tftc. Had an idea what to look for, eventually found it. Log is full. Couldn't log the cache.
I found this one at Christmas, forgot to log! But today had a new friend to find with me and get addicted to geocaching too TFTC
I'm in Levin on foot today while GAR is at a working dog trial in Foxton and I had him drop me off here on his way there from Waikanae where we stayed overnight (had first visitied our daughter in Wellington yesterday on our big road trip from north of Auckland this Easter). So, my first find of the day and glad to not have lots of people in the park this early in the day. I have been here once before with no luck and leaving before making more of an effort when I was almost muggled as there were lots of people there then. Not sure how I missed this hide last time but at least not this time! Thanks for the nice hide kaurigirl. A great park to bring people to.
We have visited this park a couple of times already this weekend - for a lab and as part of the Cannonball Run. Anyway here we are again at this nice place to stop. TFTC # 18,106
I've found a few of these caches before, i didnt actually see it this time, I put my hand on it while looking elsewhere and it moved. Thanks kaurigirl

Came along here nice and early this morning while it was still quiet. Missed it on the first pass, but soon spotted, TFTC
Dragged the kids out caching on my birthday. Miss 10 found it by accident!! Cool hide. Gets a FP. TFTC
Making my way back to Wellington (from Wanganui) and took a wee detour for a few caches along here, this was one. This cache has been on my todo list for a while, and I always looked into the park as I passed to see if the coast was clear. Today, it finally was. Made my way to the final location and began my search from where the GPS said 0m. Was pretty sure I knew what I was looking for(and I was right) and it turns out the GPS was spot on, but despite that it still took three or four passes before my eyes finally saw what I was looking for. All good here, TFTC.
We looked high and low, left and right, inside and outside and every which way with no luck. PAF who gave us a hint and the cache was sited immediately!! Didn’t have our caching eyes turned on as it was easy!! Signed LE.
And so the trip begins with LNM1961 (logs signed with our own names or ‘LE’). We are travelling around the Rua area of the PWGT to collect all of those caches, plus some in the Tahi area. However, we aren’t just focussing on them. We are targeting others - oldies, ones that help us qualify for challenges, ones out of the way (especially on the Desert Road), as well as having fun, exploring NZ and seeing the countryside. TFTC

Drove down from Palmy to do some walking along the Mangahao track. Was going to drive round Levin however I picked up a hitchhiker who wanted to be dropped in the centre of town. Well I could just check out that sad blue face. Last time I spent 20 minutes here with no joy. This time the GPS had me a few metres further along the fence and within seconds I had the cache. Strange how that happens. Thanks for the smiley.
Finally! After almost giving up for the 2nd time I slightly nudged the cache which certainly didn’t look out of place!
TTFC!

Have tried a number of times to spot this elusive little mite, such that I stopped bothering to log a dnf. This time? Straight to it, found in seconds. Could've sworn I'd looked there before...
Such are the vagaries of this game. Thanks kaurigirl for providing me with such a frustrating challenge, it gets a fave for that reason.

LL113 and I are spending some time caching around Levin with EtherMiss tagging along too.
She wanted to go to a playground, to which I readily agreed given that LL113 has had a remarkable success rate today and I have a DNF to avenge at this park.
Miss5YO took off to the rope fort and we headed towards GZ.
LL113 started looking there and I started here.
Well, there wasn't much of a start as I put my hand on it immediately (first touch of the host touched the container).
I had mixed emotions of joy and frustration as we extracted and signed the logbook, given that this was my third attempt and the others had been ~20+ minutes each rather than >20sec.
The upside of completing the formalities quickly was that I get a few minutes to play with EM on the slides, swings, etc, before we moved on to the next one

Back to Levin for some caching. Parked up the camper van by Prouse Bush and headed off on the bike. Sadly no joy here although the park was great. Hope to be back sometime and will bring Mrs Rubbishparty to have a good look.
Tis a very nice place to stop. Not doing much caching today as long weekend traffic is not fun to stop and start in. But stretch legs, ice cream and this little find was just perfect to prepare for the predicted Otaki crawl. Definitely need tweezers but easy with them. Thanks for the great location to stop.
Cache was present and well we have now observed that you may need tweezers to extract the log.
Happy caching

I had found this one a long time ago and forgot to log it online... today I visited again and when the coast was clear retrieved the clever cache and signed the nice little log in gap 7.
