I always enjoy an historical based cache. Cache found quickly and in reasonable condition. It could do with a new 'log book'
Took longer than needed. My gps wanted me to walk down along the fence. Felt uncomfortable doing so as someone lived there. Went back to where I expected it to be and looked. Saw it. of course! Tftc
Today was a trip up in the Lockyer Valley with RoddyC, Hatzofff, chamad and Echocage1 to gain a few Smilies and also earn some points for Cosmic Quest.Soon had the cache, log signed before replacing as found. It sure was a beautiful day and I do like Cemetery / Memorial caches. TFTC
With hatzofff, imbunda, echocage1 and chamad for a pleasant Sunday caching around the Lockyer Valley.Quick find. Log signed and cache replaced as found at 12:50 pm on 4 August 2024. TFTC, The Bungs.
Out with RoddyC chamad echocage1and imbunda to pick up a few smiles out of town.Nice trip out and about. No horses today.TFTCache The Bungs
Great location. Even driving past its easy to miss the significance of this location. A FP from me. TFTC
We have found it .. replaced zip lock bag other had hole in it .. very straightforward and easy to find .. next person might want to bring a new piece of paper to sign as the paper was old and full ..
Hallowed GroundNeeding some caches for a couple of challenges I'm working on, and it being such a beautiful day, I headed to Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley to find some caches.A lovely memorial.A quick find here, log signed, all replaced as found. TFTC The Bungs# 10321CheersWillis007
bunadoorian and I were enroute to Caloundra from Warwick. On this trip I am trying to pick up caches in different LGA's. I cannot remember driving through Gatton before - although we may have before we started geocaching. Today we were able to find a few caches on our travels. This was the first find for the day. TFTC and for bringing us here Bung Barron.
Out for a cache day with geodog while hubby plays cricket nearby. Great day for an explore. Lovely shady area and geodog had a drink break here. Found it easily but seriously needs a new container asap. Possibly one of my male relatives buried here. TFTC TNLNSL.
Needs a little attention the paper is damp and no room left looks like the cache has been broken
On my way from Surfers to Toowoomba today as I start my journey home towards Sydney via who knows where. Enroute, I made this random find (and not a particularly good one, I'm afraid, as the cache is a bit of a mess) in order to get my first find in Lockyer Valley. Added my name to the scrap of paper in the baggy. Thanks for placing this cache Bungs but it does need some TLC.
After a quiet start to the day I headed out past Ipswich to clean up a few caches and enjoy a lovely Sunday in south east Queensland. After finding a safe place to park I headed off to ground zero and soon had the cache container in hand. Log extracted and moniker applied. Safely returned to the hiding spot and back to the car and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
I was out in Toowoomba and surrounds cache with Muggle65 and GreenGecko1 grabbing a few caches after the event this one was next on the list. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Arriving at GZ and quickly identified something that I thought was the remains of a cache. It was complete with ziplock bag with swag and paper for a log. But something I have seen many times over the year was spotted out of the corner of my eye. Closer investigation revealed the real cache. I dont know if the ziplock swag bag was someones attempt at a throw down, but it may fool future finders. The real cache and log are in good condition unlike the fake. On a mission to Plug the Gaps in my 366 and Jasmer calendar and finding this cache has plugged a necessary gap that needed filling in both calendars. TFTC. SL. TBs Eddie Mac to New Zealand and Back, Prado Owl , Rawhide , Surrey Travel Tag and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 1880.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. This afternoons geo-adventure was exploring the Lockyer Valley. I found the replacement cache. As it is now only a plastic bag & log Im not sure it will last in the elements,TFTC Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
First one in Australia. Grew up here and didnt even know this was the first cemetery
I was early for a work meeting and decided to stretch my legs with this lovely spot. Thank you for placing it here - very interesting info on the plaque!
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today with DW.
Decided to hit a few around Gatton before and after Park Run. This one made for a quick find.

Look for something out of place. Good hiding spot. Don't forget to read the plaque to learn a little history of Gatton.
A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
After a late night last night, today was a little more laid back exploring some targeted caches around Brisbane and beyond.
Spotted this one relatively quickly and log signing duties completed.
Thanks Bung Barron for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Found with ZigZoggy. Sure hard to get paper out. That is the one thing I hate about nano caches. Pretty fun find though
I didn’t think it was going to be there. Really smart, a lot of detail to make it look so good. TFTC

A Wednesday Madness day out today with SaintsMadHouse, we had decided to head over Laidley way and see what we would find, and with our rather delayed start, our first stop was to be at a cabinet makers before beginning any caching.
With business there undertaken, it was time to begin caching.
Only a few caches left in our day, we made our way around here to an interesting historical site, and pondered whether this is still the current location of the residents, or they have been moved elsewhere.
Cache found safe and sound.
Thanks for the cache Bung Barron.

Found right where we thought it would be in this location. I wonder if they are still here or have been moved
TFTC - connections to the area for over 45 yrs but did not know about this history - never too old to learn something!
Logbook could use a waterproof case or something to protect it as I was unable to sign due to water damage
Getting a lift back from QOGM2022 in Charleville with JACS Team. She wanted a multi in this area and after we found that she asked if I minded doing a few more in the area. Always up for a few more so off we trundled. This was the last one of the day and it was soggy loggy here. JACS had some supplies and added a new log in a bison to the container. TFTC??
Was in the area after doing a huge huge drive from Charleville after attending this year Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. I had to make a detour to collect a particular multi further south after having collected the nearby target cache we had to drive through Gatton to get back on the highway. Had a quick discussion with my travelling companion for the day, EchoCage, and we decided to find the local caches whilst here as neither of us would generally visit the town because of the bypass.
Had a quick read of the monument - wondered what they did with the headstones. Then set about finding the cache. It was spotted - sadly a disgusting soggy blob in a snap lock bag poking out from its outer container. Fortunately I had won a container of bison container so we replaced the bag of mush with a new bison and log then placed it in the outer (there was no bottom).
Cache found, signed and replaced! This was the last cache of the day before it was time to continue onwards to home.

Hey man, pretty easy find. We left a few pages but needs a bit of maintenance. If your not keen we will happily take over the cache man.

Quick little weekend away, exploring the country side, with the ultimate goal to complete some of the Map of Australia Geo-Art on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Needs some loving, unfortunately it's all mouldy
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **The Bungs**

Interesting site here. The contents of the cache have outgrown the container. I rescued the traceable. Thanks for the cache
