Revenge on a DNF here.Thankyou for placing and maintaining the cache and allowing me to discover a new area and maintaining white mushrooms caches.TFTCGeneric overly-detailed summation of the day:Weather report: cool, overcast and some sprinkles (from the sky and a donut)Caching conditions: minimal muggle activity, GPS satellites talking nicely to my phoneSnack situation: optimal: a dollys donut and a prepped snack box with grapes and salami was fantastic Public toilet status: plenty of them but the one I used in Blackheath had no handwashing facilities!!Munzee distractions: none today, kinda forgot about them.Weirdos encountered: thankfully none

This one has twarted me in the past, so I was really pleased to see recent successful "found it" logs. I was still worried the ground might be boggy from the torrential rain(!), but it was fine. A brief search revealed the cache in the likelybspot. TFTC

TFTCFinally after a long time this cache has even replaced so (a few days ago because I'm logging this later) I went out to get this cache and it was a pretty quick find and a decent P&G

This cache is most likely missing. I spent way too long searching before realising that this cache had not been found since march.

23-Dec-23
Possibly gone in the last pruning

19-Dec-23
Nice trimmed tree. Based on cache description, nowhere to be found. Sent photos to CO whitemushroom even if previous geocachers had the same photo in their logs. For this reason, perhaps the CO could do a cache check? Many thanks

06-Jun-23
Walked straight up to it today, as easy find.
Writing my name into the logbook is another thing

18-Apr-23

Frazeydaze and I stopped off to grab a few smilies on our way to Blackheath for the weekend. With the help of the photo accompanying the last log frazeydaze spotted this one in a flash, though I suspect she may have found it in a different place for what it was intended as its got a broken cable tie attached to it. Tf

Caching with oldmorty on our way to Blackheath.
Oldmorty said he’d been here a couple of times before and had no luck in finding the prize.
Something must have changed as I found the cache just in front of me.
Oldmorty was just happy to get a smiley.

We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA puzzle & Wherigo caches around Luddenham & Wallacia, a leftover WGA puzzle cache at Warragamba, some leftover PGA puzzle caches at Penrith, two Adventure Labs in the lower Blue Mountains, plus any other caches we happen upon during our travels.

Today (day 3) we are heading back up to Valley Heights to visit the Valley Heights Railway Museum which, being the second Sunday of the month, is open to the public for exhibit viewing and steam train rides. We will also be stopping at Blaxland, both on the way up and on the way back down, for a few target caches that we missed on yesterday's trip. This was our 6th find of the day (day 3), and 38th find of the holiday.

Next stop on our way back from visiting the museum was at this cache, and it was a reasonably quick find after rustling about for a bit. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. There was a large flock of sulfur crested white cockatoos making a hell of a racket in the trees while we were at GZ - cache guardians perhaps? TFTC whitemushroom.

I found where the cache is meant to be, but it wasn't there. I confirmed with a cacher who found it this morning that it was there. So it was muggled during today.

A early rise and drive to get to the Penrith lakes parkrun, then some nice caching on the other side of the Nepean River. First Glenbrook and then Lennox Bridge.

Justifying a trip to the Mountains for a specific cache, planned to add several PnGs along the way now on my way home. Unfortunately, a threatening storm hit and I could only grab a few in between showers or put up with a soaking. After recent storms last week as well, the grass here was long and now my socks, shoes and feet were also wet. But a smiley is a smiley and luckily found quickly.

02-Feb-20
Quick look around this morning but DNF. Thanks anyway

29-Oct-19
I came up The Mountains by train (and lots of walking) today for some caching, two stops, Blaxland and Glenbrook.

Very successful as all 7 target caches were found! Smile

After walking down to Wascoe Siding I walked the short extra distance to this cache.
The area was deserted except for the dog behind the fence which was obviously very lonely and kept talking to me. Usually I'm a good dog whisperer but I didn't have a great deal of success with this one.
However trying to avoid him as I searched actually helped me find the cache.
Something a bit different for this type of hide!

Wool socks, Tights, jeans, 2x shirts, wool jumper, puffy vest, beanie (hoodie in the car, just in case)... ready to brave the vicious winter wind which is only getting stronger as the day goes by.

Some damage here but Tatiana's Remorse survives winters windy wrath for now...

After coming too late last night and succumbing to the loss of light, I decided to try again this morning only to find the dog in the garden near GZ did not appreciate my presents, so not to draw attention to myself I decided to leave it. Let's hope that it's third time lucky!!!

23-May-19
Walked past this one then circled the GZ and spotted cache.
Thanks for the cache.

16-Mar-19
Had been in this park several times over the years, most recently (unfortunately) in 2013 when we helped organisers with the re-enactment of the first crossing of the Blue Mountains. This park was an overnight corral for the horses used in the crossing. TFTC

27-May-18
Looked for this one about a year ago and was stumped because gz took me to an open space with not too many options. Came back yesterday and broadened my search and finally found the nifty hide. Trouble was there were too many muggles about - so returned today to nab the prize. Tftc!

13-May-18
Tftc. Out a few metres and after checking out the nearby fence, we widened our search and found it.

01-May-18
TFTC. Lovely park just right for a walk.

04-Apr-18
When the coordinates appeared about six metres out, out on the grass I hesitated to search, as there were several possible places, but decided to give this a quick search. Pleased I did, because I found it almost immediately. Luck though, as this could have taken awhile, and I feel the difficulty is too low. TFTC whitemushroom.

Tried to have a look for this one but the darkness wasn’t helping at all. May have to return.
