--------

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.

The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 17th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 17th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the instructions posted above.

Solved before leaving New Zealand and found time to sneak away from the family gathering to grab this with little blue hen and a couple of the kids. No 1 niece was first to spot. Logbook saturated. Waved it about to shake off some of the moisture and put into a new dry bag. Probably needs replacement. Tftcsl

Ziploc bag needs replacing - logbook is rather wet and may need replacing also.

Second stop for the day, and another target for my mystery monthly challenge. Having solved this one a while ago as part of my planning for said challenge, all that was needed today was to make the find and be on my way. Upon arriving at GZ the first thing I spotted was an empty ziploc bag. Never a good sign. I continued my search however, and expanded the area in the hope that it wouldnt be the only thing I found. After a while, I was about to give up and messaged CO as a sanity check on my co-ordinates and to let them know the ziploc bag may be all that remained. Of course as soon as I did that, old mate Murphy kicked in with his law and I spotted the well concealed cache. Upon opening the container it was apparent that the ziploc bag did indeed belong to the cache, as the log book was unprotected and extremely wet. Managed to scribble a signature on it nonetheless (luckily I had a gel pen) and placed it back with the ziploc bag (which isnt doing much). Unfortunately I didnt have my usual GeoVehicle so I didnt have any bags or logbooks with me to replace it.

Thanks Wiser than Owls for the enjoyable puzzle.

Find No. 2212 Found at 10.20am.

Down in Anglesea/Torquay area for the Long Weekend to take Geodog Penny back to the beach, finish off the G2Anglesea trail and grab a few others along the way.

We finished the G2Anglesea trail on Saturday, grabbed a few here and there while we were being tourists and looking around the area on Sunday and today (Monday) plan to grab a couple of quick ones before heading for home.
Over the weekend we have been to Point Addis, Bells Beach, Torquay and Anglesea areas to see what we can find.

This was our third find for the morning. Would have been good to get up close to the Power Station but it was heavily guarded with security guards. Anyway we found the cache, signed the log and now we have one more planned find, plus we have to give Penny one more beach visit before we head for home.

Almost a year after attending the Mega here we were on our way to a father/daughter camp near Lorne and I managed to convince my daughter that we would be way too early so I could grab a few caches on the way. A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.

A neat puzzle and after a brief stroll we were soon adding our names to the log.
We headed here to further explore the area and pick up some caches as we made our way around. The weather was perfect on this bright sunny day and all in all it was a great adventure.
Thanks to Wiser than Owls.

The weather today is fantastic and so it's perfect to hit dusty roads in search of caches including this one Smile a good walk to GZ and then a quick find - gotta like that!

Final full day around Torquay and the major aim was to complete the G2 Anglesea trail. Cold and very blowy today but at least it isn't raining. At first struggled with the puzzle (What, what, we said and as you know only 2 watts are you aren't very bright). Then we increased the wattage to come up with the answer. bit of a scramble to GZ but quick find.

It's always a pleasure to cache along the Great Ocean Road but even better when the sky is nice, there are no muggles about and you have the day to yourself. I was onto the puzzle quickly, but have done nothing like it before from memory. A nice one and a peaceful spot today made for a quick find. Stamped and replaced as found.

**Thanks for placing this puzzle cache, Wiser than Owls** Smile

You have been busy out this way. I had this solved prior to my trip down here and planned to find this one first. Something went wrong with my planning and this became a much later find.

Found on a great geocaching day out in Anglesea with our friends, suss vulture. They had solved the puzzle beforehand, but before we left, I got a small hint on how to solve this puzzle – soon enough, I had some good numbers that were good to go. Very clever puzzle that suits well to the area. Once we walked up the slope to GZ, it was a very quick find – though our hands were covered in black charcoal afterwards! TNLNSL. TFTC!

After doing some caches on the river with Ausfox; and Neville_devil, Neville and I passed by this one on our way out of Anglesea so of course we had to stop for the find. A nice achievable puzzle that does take a huge amount of brain "power" to solve.

Thank you Wiser than Owls for the puzzle and hide

I was meeting up with other cachers at a Anglesea but they were running late so what better way to pass the time than grab a few caches on my. The rain was torrential now but as I was heading to the river to kayak I couldn't get much wetter. I made my way to GZ to make a quick find. Log signed and replaced as found.

What a wonderful day to collect some old and some new caches. Brilliant sunshine and our rivers and oceans looking very tropical, casting a wonderful turqoise color, rarely seen in this neck of the woods(coast)
This one had us guessing for a while. Until my engineering brain kicked in. Nice one. Clue is spot on.
Thanks for the mystery Wiser than Owls. TNLN.

Well I solved this one at home when it was first released but this has been my first chance to come down here and make some finds.
I have glorious weather for it on some quiet roads.

07-Dec-16
After finishing work early, we were sitting around doing nothing due to a power outage and we thought what can we do to pass some time? We know what, lets go and get some caches!
So we headed off down to Anglesea to smash over this series with the mysteries already presolved.
Luckily the night was warm and no sight of rain making it all very enjoyable in such a lovely area.
As it started to get dark , we watched the various colours of the sunset before bringing out the torches to guide us to the Tupperware.
Thanks Wiser than Owls for the variety of caches in this very beautiful part of the coast.

We had this puzzler solved when it was published, but were in the wrong location to go and grab it. A quiet road this afternoon well after the Mega and a nice find. TFTC

14-Nov-16
We came to this one from the last battle with the hordes of mozzies, and thankfully the hardest problem we had to encounter here was finding a parking spot off the side of the road to not impede traffic.
So with that sorted it was just a case of hop, step and a jump up to GZ to sign our lives away whilst not getting to covered in black stuff.

Thanks Wiser than Owls for the nice puzzle and cache.

----------

**DAY ´4**
Mega Event day

We went for a caching trip during the mega event and have also found this cache and have met many other cachers also.
We stopped along the way at all important sights and nice view points. We were happy about the geological features and beautiful place in this region and have found many caches along the way.
Thank you and best regards from Germany

This puzzle brought back memories of Year 11 Physics where the process required to solve the puzzle was expected of all students. So the solution was obtained very quickly. Accurate coordinates, a geotrail and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Wiser Than Owls for the cache.

Watts up?! Oh, it's the Surf Coast Mega 2016 Big Grin!
Day 2 of the Mega had me doing a maintenance run along the coast, firstly heading out west towards Moggs Creek in the morning. After attending some discussions and workshops over lunch at the YMCA it was off to the east to cover the area to Torquay. It was great seeing the positive vibe and cachers happily flying the geocaching flag all along the Great Ocean Road.
No horsing around was required to come up with the goods here.

13-Nov-16
Managed to solve this new one just before setting out for a couple of caches before heading back to Admin for the Mega, Cache was an easy find thanks.

Found this cache while out and about with brisal5, mogni and Bushfire, plus hubby Aussie Mark. The brains trust already had this worked out and so as we dashed around on Saturday, it was located. TFTC.

Day 5 of my week long visit to Victoria. Cool
Having settled into the digs at Anglesea for three nights it was time for some serious mega caching and the Q2A and a heap of puzzles, multi's and great caches were already found. But today was Mega day and the competition was going to be the focus. Our team was to be GOTHS plus 1. GOTHS being the Geocachers Of The HillS - a group of SA cachers. Myself, mogni and Aussie M&M were the GOTHS members and local cacher Bushfire was the plus ![:o)]
This cache was found as part of the Mega competition. What a great concept that some of the competition caches have become permanent and that signing them that day was also a cache find. Smile Although we found quite a few we were nowhere near the leaders but had a great day all the same. [^]
Thanks Wiser than Owls Big Grin

12-Nov-16
This is where we met some of the other cachers - something that would happen many more times today, due to the local Mega event. Found in the company of quiet1_au and both G and J of GJMMelb.

Reperio with Noodles22, Tronador, and bella at waggy!

Day 4 of my geocaching tour across Victoria heading towards the Surf Coast event, and today I teamed up with fellow NSW cachers in Noodles22, bella at waggy, and Tronador for the Surf Coast event tournament. With a total of 14 caches found during the 4 hour tournament, we had an absolute blast.

This was one of the few puzzles we solved in transit today, and bella did the work solving it while the rest of us kept planning where we were headed. When we plotted the coords, we realised it was back where we were earlier, and once there, soon had the cache in hand. Nice little puzzle.

Fellow WA cachers *bech* and Fernweh* had entered the Victorian Geocaching Tournament and convinced me to go with them to help with the 'puzzles' but in the end I wasn't required for that but helped to find some of the caches that we went to as part of the tournament. (As well as do a girly thing at one of the physical challenges)

Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thanks Wiser than Owls for the cache.

Arrived last night and staying at the local caravan park with a group of SA cachers who I had meet and cached with at the last Mega at Casey Fields so lots of laughs and some good times with good food and a few wines. What more could you want.
This guy was on the list and soon we were signing the log with Goths+1 with Bushfire being the 1.
Thanks Wiser than Owls.

12-Nov-16
Found on the tournament run as part of the Mega with Tronador, Marcus Vitruvius and Noodles22. We dashed around getting a good haul in the required time which included solving a few puzzles in the car and googling to find some of the photo items. Log signed and on to the next one. TFTC

12-Nov-16
One of the puzzles I solved before we set out, I wish I'd had the time to load a GPX file with the corrected coordinates in it onto the GPS as this would have made life easier picking the best next cache in the field... No matter, we battled on and did the best we could. The calculation too a few goes to find the right order and units but otherwise was nice and straightforward Smile I'll be honest and say I don't remember much about who found each particular cache, I know I usually jumped out at each stop being a back-seat cacher. The shaped paper punches were a great idea Smile TFTC

12-Nov-16
As part of the Surfcoast Mega, we volunteered to man an Activity Station for the Tournament, which turned out to be a couple of kms away from the final of this puzzle. The puzzle came out while we were manning the station, so in between competitors we solved it, and realised we could pick it up on the way back to base at the end of the day. Which we did. TFTC and the puzzle Wiser than Owls.

After a delay in gettng our game pack due to us not remembering our team name (& therefore reminding louiseann) about it not having a score sheet in it & it being on the desk in the main room, we finally were able to head off..... well to q1 & lb's abode to upload the caches to the gps's and a quick human fuel stop! Lol
Q1 had solved this cache before we headed off so once we realised the co-ords in the car gps were listed co-ords and not solved co-ords we made our way to the correct Gz for a nice easy find

While the total of 23 caches found Smile wasn't huge, the added fun of attending 2 regular events Smile and a Mega event Cool sure was huge! Big Grin
