Today I finally have time to log caches again Thanks to all for placing and maintaining the caches.

We were in beautiful Karijini last week. On the way to the refreshing dip in the Fernpool we found this cache. Since we didn't have internet, I'm just logging now. Thank you for laying.

23-Jul-24
Great hide! Didnt find on our way in but found on our way out Smile got distracted by the obvious spot instead of looking outside the box!

11-Jul-24
First big trip up to Karijini for my 30th. Found this one today after hiking the top trail down and through the gorge. Such beautiful scenery and little spots. The pool was delightful, pity most people didn't read the sign and respect the area (lots of shouting, yelling, even wrestling off the edge ).Found this one quick so we didn't have to wait long to swim after the hot hike TFTF

WOW! TFTC! Spotted from Fern Pool side.

Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. We camped at Karijini National Park last night. This morning we did some of the gorge walks. We then headed further east to find some other caches of interest before returning to the park to camp for the evening. This one took a bit of searching as we were drawn to the wrong spot at first. But eventually it was quite an easy find. Im pleased it was early in the morning and there were very few people about. Thanks sbc05 for the cache.

08-Jun-24
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for four or so weeks. After camping out along the road between Tom Price and Karijini, we traveled out to spend the next two nights at Karijini National Park. We spent the day visiting the sights around this amazing landscape, hiking the gorges, sightseeing the scenic lookouts and finding a few caches along the way. This took a lot of searching bt we found it eventually! Thanks for the cache sbc05!

Such a stunningly beautiful place to visit. Cache was easily accessed, and we were able to retrieve sign and replace between muggle traffic. Tftc

DNF, though I only half looked----------------------Decided to do a long road trip, flying in from Canberra, starting and finishing the drive in Port Hedland. It was a long day of flights, followed by 7 days of lots of kilometres. I stopped at every 'point of interest' along the way, I wanted to miss nothing! Earthcaches, Virtuals & AL's are always very good waypoints for interesting things as well. Every night I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and these made the kilometres fall away. This was the first outback road trip I have done where I saw more emu's than kangaroos. The wild camels walking in the desert were also very cool to see. My trusty swag served me very well.

I had to return for this one, missed it yesterday when we walked the river. Beautiful place, wouldnt want to be here in the height of the season!STL TFTC

Hip hip hooray for UNESCO and Traditional Owners…a truly peaceful pool. Lucky us are staying out for 6 days so plenty of time to wander here at different times of the day - love the magic of Karijini. We are 3500 + kms from home base so it’s totally stunning to be here in this ancient landscape. TFTC

We've arrived in Karijini for the week and headed out to do the rim walk and ended at Fern Pool for a swim. Luckily just as we reached GZ, there was a lull in the muggle traffic so I quickly found and signed this cache before we headed back to camp.

Thanks for find #4469

3 for 3 in Karijini...a park that I call the "Zion of Oz" referencing Zion NP in Utah. I was just about to give up on this one after searching for 20 minutes until I noticed I had my backpack in front of it. Afterward, I was ready for a powerful hydraulic massage in Fern Pool

26-Oct-21
Found with kiwinic on our annual northern holiday. We found this one a few days back but with no service around Karijini we decided to log them once home. A bit of a search here but we found it in the end. TFTC Smile

One of my favoriet places, the cache could use a new log, we wrote on a spare piece pf paper that was already in the cache. Behind with logs again, ( Suprise! Suprise!) a combination of laziness, lack of time (there are so many cool things to see and do!), low data and a broken phone have meant I have found myself very behind with logs again, making an attempt to catch up while I have some downtime in airconditioned comfort and suprisingly good internet while out in the Pilbra. Now to remember them all... Aghh!
Thanks for being one of the caches we found sorry once again for the generic log, Cheers TT

Tftc lovely walk down to the falls & pool. We even saw some bats hanging in the trees. The water was a bit cool, but refreshing ????

What a gem!
Fern pool was just beautiful and GZ was well thought out and an interesting place in itself. Well worthy of a FP.
The local park ranger was here when we visited chatting to all and enjoying the day. How do I get that job???

A quick find. Thanks sambc72

We are spending a few weeks travelling to some of Western Australia's warmer regions and grabbing a couple of the LGAs that I need.
I don't think we came up this far last time we were here. What a fabulous pool it is.
It didn't take too long to locate the cache after climbing over the branches

This was find number 2 for the day.

Fern Pool was beautiful and a warm under the waterfall so glad we got to find this on the way

Unfortunately we didn't manage to find this one today. Pretty sure we were in the right spot, but just too many muggles too-ing and frow-ing to have a good hard look. Also, I don't have a handheld GPS, only my phone, and there's zero coverage in the park. Maybe next time.

Quick find. We stayed at the campground nearby and made a walk to this place in the early morning hours. So it was too cold for a swim in the pool.

After a short night in Perth the tour started that took me all the way up to Broome. During the long hours of driving I, unfortunately, had no wifi so therefore no chance to log all the caches I found en route. I do that now and must admit that I don't remember all the details. However, whenever I had the chance during our stops I found some and had a good time searching for them. Thanks to all the owners who made this possible.

Today we visited Karijini NP, Dales gorge area. We've walked to Circular Pool, enjoyed a dip in the Fern Pool and afterwards also in the falls. First I was gonna pass the cache until my friend was like "I guess I found sth". Nice spot.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply visiting the Karijini NP.

On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.

Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.

Thanks to 'sambc72' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Jubara Walk' and the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.

Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

From 23.09 until 24.11.2019 Stadibast and I spent our holidays in Australia.
During the first four weeks we drove with a camper van from Darwin to Perth along the West coast and its amazing national parks, in which we made several hiking tours.
After that we flew to the wonderful green Tasmania for a roundtrip lasting two weeks.
For the last three weeks we went back to the continent and followed the South-East-Coast from Melbourne to Sydney.
We had impressive nine weeks in Australia, in which we hiked through various national parks, visited interesting sights and met many friendly and helpful people.
Thanks to all owners for setting and maintaining their caches.

Did the all Dales Gorge walks, then remembered there were caches here. So went back down into the gorge to grab this cache. Took a bit of searching but found it in the end. Thanks sambc72 forthe hide.

Going to log a DNF as I knew exactly where it was, but given the amount of muggles couldn’t get it

Not today Josephine! Will come back one day to reattempt this one. I had downloaded the coordinates but it had me scrambling over more rocks and fallen trees and l didn’t think l was in the right place as l didn’t really want to damage the fauna off the track so l gave up in the end. Got within 14m but then GPS just kept swinging around so no joy for us today. Feen Pool was glorious though. Warmest out of all the pools.

This year i spend my holidays together with my family in Australia. We explore your beautiful country by car (Cairns to Perth) and we had a wonderful time. And because of your geocache we saw an impressive landscape, enjoy a short walk or just had a short rest. So many thanks to you for showing me your country. We love it Smile

Found on a road trip with Team Outnabout taking in the Meeka races and places of interest along the way from Geraldton to Newman including a day trip to Karijini National Park. Enjoyed our swim so much, we almost forgot about the cache until Mrs Geo asked “is there a cache here” which reminded me that in fact there was. Luckily it was only a 50m back track and a mighty search as the canopy obviously had us looking everywhere. Alas, once eventually found it was much easier than we had anticipated. TFTC

25-Sep-18
When looking for a cache there’s the direct path, there’s the well trodden path, there’s the difficult path and then there’s geo-intuition that the finder who doesn’t have a GPS uses to find the cache, ask what the date is and sign the log before we’ve even agreed on a GZ.
Well done Roz. TFTC

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 9864. We found this as part of our 2018 Round Australia trip.

As the second closest cache to where we stayed this was a great cache to do and enjoy a swim at te same time. I loved the walk down here and made a quick find.

Thanks samuelcarterr for the cache.
