Out with Tankengine and Dty73. Walking is not my thing anymore so I got to this one as they found it. Kutgw
Traveling with Tankengine and Youban for the long weekend. We are looking forward to meeting up with friends in Penrith this weekend for some caching and fun. Along the way up, we picked up a few caches to break up the drive and stretch our legs. So this cache: Found all safe and sound. Tftc!!!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on a caching invasion of Penrith! Thanks thomo31!
Enjoying my geocaching adventures with SurdiVisio. Quick find with good hint. Lovely riverside strolls nearby. Thank you Thomo31
Found on a quick walk this morning before heading up the mountains to Blackheath.Heard lovely bellbirds here, but no whipbirds. (They were heard at the next location). Thanks to thomo31 for placing this cache.
A nice easy find. I was out checking out new cars and decided to take a detour to pick up a cache. Thanks. #1753
Find # 96, and my second cache since going premium, great spot and dead quiet at night.
With my muggle teenager, we agree it is a beautiful location to breathe in open air, a little stroll a bonus
Great little spot here.
Lots of photographers out, I assume taking photos of the abundant bird life.
Collected my first ever Path tag, thanks Thomo31 you've insired me to make some of my own.
Dropped off some home made swag and made my way home.

Easy find in good condition. All quiet today except for... you guessed it, whip birds all around. Lovely!

Thanks thomo31 for replacing the cache! It was much easier to find this time!! No Whipbirds this arvo, but at 39 degrees C, I think it was far too hot! Did hear I Bellbird, though. TFTC
Had a look in all the obvious places but didn’t find it. Will be back to look again at a later date.
Sorry to log a DNF after the string of smiley faces here! Searched high and low so it is either very well hidden or missing. Thanks anyway.

Up early this morning having driven from Whittlesea yesterday, and I was looking forward to stretch the legs before continuing the drive back home to Orange. I expected the ground to be wet, if not full of water, but it was dry. A quick walk to GZ where the cache was found nice and dry as well.

Today we did a cache check again. MrT put on gumboots and headed along the fenceline and was able to access GZ without swimming. Placed new dry cache container.
Cache has its own moat after the flooding rain over the last weeks. Might be a while till the surrounds dry out!
I forgot to log this one last month and have just realised. So here we go…. I seem to have found myself in the area picking up some furniture from a couple of streets away. I quickly opened up the app to see what I could get on my way back home. Being such a hot day for what we’ve had, I feel like I’m melting. Friday afternoon and the street is pretty quiet so I parked the geomobile and headed down the track. On approach I could see the the grass in the area is quite high, and I only was just speaking to the warehouse guys about the snakes that come up. Finding myself a decent stick as a precaution, I headed to gz. Luckily it was an uneventful find and signing of the log. I replaced and made my way out of the grass quickly. On a cooler day I would have attempted the rest, but straight to the air conditioning of the geomobile for me! TFTC thomo31!
Another nice quick find, managed to see a few beautiful small birds in the long grass. TFTC
Nice and easy find this afternoon. Bit squealchy getting to gz with all the recent rain. Tftc
Over the last 2 years I have been taking photos of interesting spots around Sydney, just one photo a day. I came here in March but already had my photo so put it on the list to return. Then along came lockdown ....... way out of my range.
November, well the weather wasn't very appealing to drive here, walk and photograph.
And then there was today!
I started at the end of Bruce Neale Drive (funny thing, I know Bruce Neale) and began the Great River Walk. It was a short walk!
Once again the bridge on the track is damaged. I was quite surprised by the weir and the width of the river.
Well when I was stymied by the river I decided being as I was all the way out here with a short drive and hopefully an open track I could still get this cache.
It was difficult getting a satellite lock here and then a bit sludgey getting right to GZ but once there the cache was a quick find. It had ovbiously been very wet but the log was completely dry.

Found with bag and log outside of container. No pen (mentioned only because bag says to leave pen). Put it all back together minus pen as I didn’t have a spare.
Photo didn't work, but we did find it in the tree with a brown paint cover on it.
Nice easy find in an area I haven’t been before. Did the legals and replaced as found.TFTCM

Cache check, and replaced the container and Log Book. No spider but saw a Whipbird near the path today.
Quick find on the misogynist of the bird word. Make calls and gets agitated if the female doesn’t reply. Tftc tnln
