Big thanks to Rocket2015 for creating this cache! Your effort brought an extra spark of excitement to our geocaching quest. This discovery was find number 1,228 for us, marking another memorable moment in our adventure. Living and traveling full-time across Australia in our Coaster Bus, we're always on the lookout for caches to uncover. To see more of our travels, feel free to follow our journey HERE...

Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.Early in the morning..., before the rush of tourists started, we made our way to the waterfall. We enjoyed signing the guest book as we passed by. Unfortunately, it is completely full... (we informed the cache owner)...!Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
#2672 This is my day 252, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia, and Tasmania road trip is our main highlight. Today, we drove from Hobart and found caches along the way. Found this before we left the park. We came here a bit late, but we did enjoy the short walk. Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ February 11, 2024 18:32:56
Last day in Tassie We decided to head out this way and explore some more of nature. Love this beautiful NP!After an awesome walk to see the tall trees and waterfalls, we stopped for a moment to enjoy our treaties that I purchased from the Fika Time Cafe in Maydena. Nom nom nom Alrighty, time to head home, but just one more cache! At GZ I had a good feeling about what I should be hunting for. Sure enough, there was the sneaky beasty. I left my scribble and put the cache back to bed. Thanks for the smiley Rocket2015

Heute besuchten wir den Mount Field Nationalpark und suchten auf dem Walking Track diverse Caches. Ausser 2 haben wir alle gefunden, unter anderen auch diesen Cache. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
One of eleven caches found today while visiting Mount Field National park. We planned to do the Russel Falls track, the Tall Trees walk and the Lady Barron Falls circuit with some muggle friends, and had planned to try and find twelve caches on the walk, and another one at the entrance to the park. We had to leave two of the caches due to lots of muggle walkers, but found the other eleven. These are some very good caches in a very nice area, thanks for placing them here. Sorry about the late log.In between all the cars leaving and arriving, I managed to find this quickly thanks to the hint. A clever hide, our last for the day. Sorry about the late log. Thanks for the cache Rocket2015!
Eventually got around to finding at least one at Mt Field after living in Maydena for years. TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it Giving this a from us.
Mr Shadow quickly snatched this one as we have one of those hidden too. On our way out to do the rest on the trail. TFTC.
With a hint like that we were able to locate it in no time. Our first stop at Mt Field and already impressed . Thanks Rocket for this placement
Very cool! Funny looked in two of the similar spots... didn't check the other 2! TFTC.
Quick find on our way out of the park after spending 2 nights here in a powered site with a heater! Such a gorgeous park, amazing hikes and mind blowing fungi!
I was going to tackle this one straight away as I arrived but there were some works happening nearby which stopped this from happening. Luckily later in the day they had moved on.
Thanks for the cache Rocket2015.
With the GeoGSP's at doggy daycare today, it was time to head to an area where dogs aren't welcome. I worked at Mt Field one summer during my Uni days, running activities for the punters - it was so much fun! I have no idea how many times I have walked to Russell Falls - but it's a lot!
A nice quick find on a beautiful autumn day.

I tend to go by map first so this led me to the wrong tree first. When searching at the correct GZ, the first suspected hide was an immediate find. TFTC
Hello from northern California, USA
[Mrs_Ratman](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=6387f638-372a-4a60-854f-fec7e34a54dd) and I are taking a 39 day cruise on the Holland America Noordam. We are visiting six ports in New Zealand, three in Australia, Two in New Caledonia, two in Fiji, one in American Samoa, three in Hawaii, and then we end the cruise in Vancouver BC.
One goal that we have whenever we travel (by car or by cruise ship) is to find at least one cache every place we visit.
We took a bus tour, and one of the stops was at Mt. Field. We broke off from the tour group to find this cache.
The cache was a quick find for us. It was actually located in the first place we looked. The coords were good, and the cache was in good condition.
We put some of our ink on to the log, and then we replaced the cache as we found it.

In Tassie for March, cutting a lap and finding a few caches along the way.
Didn’t take much to add a new piece of paper for more geocachers to log.
Clever cache.
Rocket2015, I found Welcome to Mt Field today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Day 11 of our tour round Tasmania. Today we visited Mount Field National Park, walking to Russell Falls and the Tall Trees walk. Then we drove to Maydena.
This was a fairly easy find, given the hint.
The log was full, but we managed to sign over another entry, otherwise the cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, replaced the container as found
Thanks Rocket2015 for the cache.

I was on a cruise around New Zealand and Australia on the Noordam with my sister, Piney Wood Walkers, my brother, Cloiud9Hikers, and their spouses. Today we were in Hobart on a shore excursion to Mt Field to see Russell Falls. We barely had time to the walk to the falls and back but I made a run down here to find this. Needed the hint and I signed in. TFTC
We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Rocket2015 for the generation of this nice cache Welcome to Mt Field (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Day 3 of our Australia Tour 2023, travelling from Hobart to Mt Field National Park. In the afternoon we walked the Three Falls Circuit. Thanks!
After our walk to the falls, we cooled down and had lunch at the visitor centre cafe where I had the smallest savoury scones I have ever seen! But they did taste good... J was looking around more inside, and I scooted off down the road a bit to find another cache. Actually, I tried to shortcut through the playground but then got trapped inside, so had to backtrack around the other way. Didn't see any of the snakes, the signs were warning about. Found the welcome sign and tried for a familiar trick and there it was. Nicely hidden away. Quick sign and back to airconditioning in the car to venture further into the forests.#3514 @ 1205hTFTC Rocket2015 ??? ??? ???
Found with The X-Trailers as we entered the park.

We came here to see Russell Falls. We will do some other hiking while here. The log is full. We put our initials on it. TFTC
Convinced my partner to take a stroll before we scooted off to our next destination, little did he know that I TRICKED HIM into doing a geocache! Unfortunately this backfired on me and after telling him the clue he found it before me. Still feels like a success! Tftc
Staying at Mt Field this evening with TT016, PrincessAria1 & LittleG00sE on our Tasmanian Holiday. What a beautiful place to stay. We walked to Russell Falls & Horsefalls during the day then to Russell Falls in the evening to check out the Glow worm grotto. A fantastic experience. We even saw a platypus in the wild. The cache was easily found, signed & placed back as found.TFTC Rocket2015

.Spent the northern long weekend in the area to attend Albys event in Adamsfield and grab some caches in the area. Our last visit was pre-caching so about time to revisit.
This one was a bit public so we stood our exchange student at the sign for a photo opportunity as a decoy while Mr TazScout grabbed the cache. TFTC

After a lot of rain we saw the sun again this morning. So we decided to go for a walk through the beautiful forest nearby our campsite. We also had a look at the beautiful falls on our stroll.
Thx for hiding!
