With a day off from work and a CITO in Goulburn, I made the trip over to for my second ever time caching there. I made the promise that I would return for a proper day of caching and it finally came true. Today’s focus was mainly some solved Multi’s and a few other quick finds to maximise my cache find total for the day given I was limited with time as I needed to be back in Temora by 5:30pm at the latest. After the CITO, Fitzy_1965 and I headed up the hill to collect the ‘Mount Gray series’ caches as he believes that they have run their course. Unfortunately, I will need to return for the rest of the caches that I missed along that are along the same road again due to time constrains. I ended up with two DNF’s today. However, I loved my day out. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTE and TFTC’s!
Fitzy_1965 and I collected all the 'Mount Gray series' caches ready for archiving including the remnants of the two caches, that were already archived. I will however, need to return to find the other caches along the same road, as my time was limited. Thanks so much.

Another day in Goulburn which has some great caching. We are staying a while longer so we can join the Events scheduled for tonight.
Today we spent our time in and around town working an Ad Lab we had not finished and a range of caches we have not got to yet, and what a beautiful day it was for it.
We managed more multis, puzzles and quite a few traditionals, both in town and ventured up to Mount Gray.
Another good day with most caches in good condition and muggle traffic not too high.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache minniek.

Found when staying nearby for the square dance convention and decided to see where this track went. TFTC
I was in the area today to complete this cache run – very much enjoyed the area – using other people’s co-ordinates to nail this 1 as it is a very overgrown area - many thanks for showing the area to me TFTC / TFTH / SL
This morning we headed to Mount Gray to look for GC and CGA caches in the area. It was a beautiful late autumn morning and the different views we saw as went progressed along the road were superb. We drove in our low clearance car and by very careful driving, we were able to get to all but Mount Gray Series #9.
This cache took quite some time to find. We searched for about 15 minutes without success. Then we read through the logs and found that a previous finder provided alternative coordinates. We used these and made an instant find, 10-15m away from where we had been searching previously. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks team_lewin for the cache and the series.

Out collecting the ALs around Goulburn today and this seemed like a good little series to target as well. I've driven past this hill on the other side several times, so good to finally make the trek to the top. This one took a little longer to locate; I found using alternative coordinates provided in a recent log helped me focus on a slightly different area which then unearthed the cache. Thanks team_lewin.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. New coords helped.
Well hidden but got there .
Plenty of hiding spots .
Thanks for the cache hide.

Finally had the opportunity to complete this series which has been on my radar for some time. All caches found and in good condition although some of them took a bit of hunting down. TFTC and the series team_lewin
Once we found the right coordinates in a previous comment it was nice and easy. Used these coordinates. S 34° 45.317 E 149° 45.817
Another quick find out along here today thanks.
Used a previously logged set of coordinates then located.

Today was to be my final 'work from home' shift, but I decided to take the day off and head towards Goulburn, collecting caches along the way.
Starting to get some great views as the elevation increases!

So many times I have looked at this steep hillside as we whizz past on the highway. It’s interesting to drive up here and get a different perspective. The views are great but very windy today. An easy find thanks team lewin.

OCW StumbleTrip today to finish off the series that we started.
We arrived at GZ and did a bit of searching, trying everything that appearred to fit the hint but nothing came up.
Reading previous logs by Goldenwattle provided new co-ords and the cache was immediately found. Thanks GW and thank Team_lewin for the cache.

This took ages to find, and I thought I was going to have the first DNF for this cache, but finally I ignored the GPS and extended the search to likely hides and found the cache. I had moved a small boulder, I had searched under bushes, checked trees. My GPS was out by seven metres.

Caching in and around the Goulburn area, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and Gullivers Travels54 and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, enjoyed the views along the way, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Today Geoturtle37 and I are caching in and around the Goulburn area. We managed to get quite a few caches done and they were all interesting in their own way. Sizes locations and ease of find were varied today . Thank you to all the CO’s that made this possible. Thank you for showcasing this lovely town, it’s views, it's architecture and it's history which is certainly fascinating and worthy of the caches dedicated to it.
Very happy the camper van made it up this far but Mr Minion got worried about the track ahead . So he stayed with the girls while I continued on foot to grab the rest of the series . I had a half hour curfew but blew it out to 45 minutes which I was still happy with . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found signed log
Having to be in a meeting this evening, I decided to drive down early and grab a few caches. I saw this series and thought it would be a good one for starters.
Great views all the way to the top.

#8851 - 11:00; Took a leisurely run up the highway with Sol de lune to Goulburn for a couple of caches on the run into Christmas. Took the familiar track up to the top of the hill and and collected a couple more in this series as we passed. Should have trusted the geosenses rather than the GPSr here as it would have made for a quicker find! TFTC team lewin
We headed to Goulburn today with Rapidlywild to attend the Giff event. There had been a few new geocaches published since our last assault to this area, so we decided to head up early to find them.
We had collected some of this series and today we finished it off, a nice bumpy ride up the hill. Local muggles were walking their dog,
Thanks team_lewin for the series, we had fun finding them

Plans were put in place with the ladies of FurfacesLL to head up to Goulburn to attend the GIFF event and clean up the area again. We had a great day with lots of laughs and some adventures in the new geomobile. A wonderful way to spend Rememberence Day (which we stopped at 11am to take a minute silence in respect and we were just down the road from the Rocky Hill War Memorial)
Thanks for the cache hide minniek and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching day out

Co-ords a bit jumpy around here and the clue could have suggested many hiding places but eventually tracked it down. Tftc
Mummasquid and i searched high and low for a good half hour, puffed. It was so good to find
Found with nissan 65. Decided we would leave bikes at home and walk it today. Great day for it. Thankyou for the cache
Another day of caching it started as a cloudy cool day good for going to the scrub but soon the sun broke through and the temperature rose by the time we got to the last cache of the run out it was already getting very warm. We managed to add 15 this being number 7 for the day.
Thanks team_lewin for another in the series of what should be termed great views.
Grand Cache count = 557 total consisting of 522 Traditionals, 18 Multi, 5 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual and 3 Event.

We've arrived in Goulburn for the next part of our xmas caching blitz, having completed the trlt series its time to see what Goulburn has to offer. Which looks like alot . Got attracted by the line of caches. GPS playing silly buggers, had us 10 out, best to go for obvious spot. Tftc
Nice caches and well maintained thank you.. 2454 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache team_lewin, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing
What a wonderful day I had today. With two incredible geocaching buddies, Kitty Katch and Joolay, we were the Capital Crunches and hit Goulburn armed with the solutions to many puzzles and determination to conquer the Mount Grey series plus some extras. The weather was kind to us at first but by the time we arrived at the top of the Mount (yes Mohamed(s) came to the Mount), it was windy and cold. The views had been spectacular but rather than sit out for our picnic lunch to enjoy them, the weather drove us into the car.
After lunch we did a couple of Governor Hill caches then decided to grab the puzzle caches we had solved. With a few extras thrown in for good luck, we decided to call it a day about 4 pm and headed into town to check into our motels for the night.
A brief rest, then a walk to the Paragon Cafe for dinner where the service was exemplary, and then luckily we caged a lift to the GIFF which was a fantastic evening.
Thanks to the ladies for a fantastic time, to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches - all of which were found easily and in good condition, to the fellow cachers at the GIFF for adding to the enjoyment of the evening and Sol de Lune for the lift back to my motel saving me quite a walk (yes the legs and feet knew they had covered some distance today.)
I headed to Goulburn today with Joolay and SmittenGranny to grab some caches and attend the GIFF event tonight. Signed as the Capital Crunchers. Enjoying our day and the drive.
We thought this series was worth a try and were not disappointed. The views from various points were really great and it was worth the drive for that alone. But these caches added to the fun as well. Many thanks to team_lewin for these placements. We only saw a couple of vehicles while we were on the hunt and they did not happen to be at inconvenient times.
I was in the mood for a drive so decided to target Goulburn to Taralga for a solo geomission. Lovely sunny day for a country drive with a swag of caches found and really enjoyed the day!
Another easy find in the series!
Thanks for the hide, team_lewin

Out and about with Happy Uke again today. This time we had ventured south again to Goulburn to try our luck.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Finalf29 and I had a wonderful time caching around Goulburn on such a glorious afternoon. I had planned a really good raid on the Goulburn caches, but a broken water main in the front yard meant we didn't get to Goulburn until about 2:30pm. We still found nineteen by the time the sun was setting. I have had a very taxing week at work, but after a bit of caching... I am now a happy HappyUke!
This is our fifth for the arvo. We had to give the area a hard look, until Finalf29 came up trumps. Thanks

#1416 Sixteenth of thirty finds on a great Sunday's driving around the Southern Highlands. Quick find after a short search. TFTC
a quite easter sunday , with all the home work done it was time to catch up with the Roosters in Goulburn and do a few caches
we have to say that a lot of the caches need the coords looked at but we found what we looked for we drove past some , could not reach others (cause legs and backs aint what they used to be [B)]
sadly the trail that was our main target for the trip had so much dumped garbage around it destracted from the beautiful spots we were being taken to so sad that the locals feel the need to dump, especially when the dump is only a smell away
all in all it was a top day out , with 37 caches found in just under 5hrs [^] in which lots were out of the way in the sticks [^]
thanx to roosterman for the day out , we'll have to do it again sometime [^]
thanx to all the cache placers for making our Sunday cheers

Easter Sunday in Goulburn and a day of driving around with Scenic Routers.
And another nice sunny day with not many muggles around.
Howver there really is a lot of rubbish up here at most cache sites.
Thanks for the cache team_lewin,

Found with Justjessie as we explored the area. Great views from the top and disappointing views of all the rubbish from the bottom. Still a great location for caching.
The track varied a lot, so I was happy to find that it wasn't all rocks and potholes, after all there is only so much a Jazz can take
We are heading to South Australia before heading to the event in Alice Springs. Currently we are travelling with DiMorgan and Bill ofcourse nice to have some companions to go caching with. Thanks to team_lewin for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Belanglo to Golburn.
We have set up camp at the VC rest stop. Today we were caching with Liz and Bruce.
It was back into town after lunch & then up Mount Gray. We were rewarded with amazing views of the area from the top.
After grabbing a few groceriers we collected the caches on the way back to camp.

Out with Tankengine on a morning before the second of the two Geocaching NSW events. Next stop on our way up the hill and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. Views are certainly worth the trip up.

Was in Goulburn for the Geocaching NSW Invasion events, and did a few quiet caches on the side. It seems that every time I find the new caches on Mt Gray - more appear! OK - so today, with Sol de lune, I finished them off, again! Let's see how long until more appear - Certainly I can see that the track still continues from the last one! Thanks for the cache TL, love this hill!
A weekend of Geocaching in the Goulburn area. Together with GeoDirk and HanorahTLG we had a good attempt to clean the area of the unfound containers!
I do believe this was one on my walk to the top of Mount Gray. TFTC!

Find #43 of 3685 at 3:56:00 PM on my Goulburn Invasion day out with mtrax - not my biggest one day total, but it was close, and seeing that I only found 68 caches in total for the whole of 2016 it is pretty impressive given my recent form!
TFTC team_lewin - we had a great day out.

A great day of caching in the highlands and Goulburn. Had lots of puzzles solved in the preparation and was determined to do multi's or any unusual caches as well. Ended up with only 3 dnf for the day and lots of funny and good finds, thanks for putting out all the caches.
