The kids and I are heading down to Auckland this weekend to see my family. I'm also after 25 caches to solve the mystery at the museum.
I thought we'd aim at getting 10 easy ones on the way down. This area looked like it fitted the bill without being a major detour. This cache was my second for the trip and it was nice and easy to find even in the dark. Neat camo. Thanks for hiding it

Not much happening here except the muggle in the shed. A little stealth required. All is good in the hood.
Decided to take the opportunity to collect a few caches around this part of Auckland as the weather was forecast'd to be excellent and clear, and I had not been up here for a very long time. An advantage was also that it gave me an opportunity to go for a bit of a bike ride once the sun came up.
Started out the day in the dark and still managed to make it home by mid afternoon so all in all not such a bad day to be had in the sun.
the sun is struggling to break through the fog so I feel that the start of the is going to be feely grey and foggy. Pretty much had the entire place to myself and made a quick find.
A big thanks to all the Co's whom have taken the time and effort to maintain the caches.
thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement.

I joined up with a muggle friend for a leisurely bike ride around the Orewa Estuary today and gave her a bit of an introduction to geocaching along the way. No problem locating this one, TFTC!
Today we walked around this area as our first real geocaching stop around NZ. Thank you for placing the boxes. We found them well.
Evening walk in pursuit of some caches...coordinates took me directly to this one tftc
Out caching for the day with PageNZ. Stopped in here to earn the smiley. Lot of hint items but finally spotted it. TFTC
Avoyager and I had an early start to make a day of caching in Orewa a triumph. Thanks for all your caches Glyn.
I decided to have a walk in the morning before spending the day at the conference. Apparently it takes my son 1.5h, so I though 3 hours would be plenty! I had so much fun!! Thanks for all the lovely caches around the estuary!!!
Out with Jag50 and my niece and nephew on a big caching adventure. It wasn't quite where we first expected the cache to be but it didn't elude us for too long.
Quick park and grab here with Aiden29 on our way to the CITO event at Crocodile Island.
Seems like the first sunny saturday in a long time. Dusted off the bikes and thought we would re-visit the Orewa Estuary Walkway and see if we could find some caches along the way. This one was well hidden and took us a while to locate. SL. TFTC.
In his haste to search Mr Coblet didn't check the co-ordinates properly and put his hand right into a patch of gorse.
Once the screaming had died down Mrs Coblet quickly found the cache.

Today was the day that I wanted to pick up a few new and a few old caches in the Millwater area.
This was the first for the day.
Cheers for the cache.

Wow so small, clever hide. The construction site and keep out signs made us wary but you can still find from the roadside
Out and about today, caching north of Auckland, with Gorby. We sure chose some good weather for it. Gorby had already found this one, but since we were passing by, we stopped so I could claim the find on this one. He parked up and I got to searching. When it was immediately found I thought I would flag it for another another day. Gorby wasn't having that and soon found the hide for me. Cheers for the cache placement!
Sixteenth find of the day out with PHILBIRDBOYS, hopefully the rain holds off! Nice quick find, TFTC.
As it was too nice to be indoors I was out for the day with Jag50 and Aiden29. We were heading back to pick up the other car and stopped here, four of us had a good look but couldn't spot anything
Up here caching this beautiful day . . . . . round the Estuary with Fencarrows . . . . Ma Fencarrows made this find today . . . . . signed the log and moved onwards . . . . .
Having had to skip a few due to there no longer seeming to be access was pleased we could get this one. TFTC
Nice and quiet at GZ so that made things easier. So did having the right tool! TFTC
This one took a bit of doing to get the log out. My car was at the bottom of the hill, so I didn't want to walk back down for a ToTT. After a bit of coaxing with a small straw and my pen, I got the log out. TFTC
There was too much construction going on continue down the trail, so I stopped here for the day.

My last cache for the day. My parents are house-sitting my cousin's place a few km's away and I'm meeting them there for lunch, so caching can wait awhile for now. Thanks G.
Typically there were 2 people chatting here next to their car. Don't think they noticed! Tftc
Nice and quick park and grab !
Small but easy find ! Travelling North for another Mini Break ..

Remember the original here so made good use of the illegal parking to make this a quick park and grab. TFTC
Passing through here collecting some caches I missed last time. Nice quick find, but shame about all the extensive development going on now
We just happened to be half an hour north of this cache when it was published about 10pm tonight. Knew it should be a quick find, so made a brief detour to attempt the FTF. The hardest part was getting the logsheet out, but finally managed it to reveal a blank log Lucky FTF for us tonight, thanks.
