I have had to replace this a number of times. Clearly it is a poor placement so Ihave decided to archive it.
Did not find! Lots of muggles around so didn’t want to look obvious. Also river has been high so maybe needs checking?
Located this one during a visit over the hill to grab a few more smilies in the Waikato. No problem with the find TFTC.
we had hoped to do the 2 caches here yesterday, but on our way here, it started bucketing down. Today was much better for caching. We found the container- but it was empty, so we have put a new log in it. tftc
I have replaced the container which is now a large pill bottle held in place by a rock.
DNF. Looked for about 20 mins before the muggles and thunder sent me heading for the car. Look forward to trying again
Found a scan code but after 20min I still hadn't found the cache. Had to give up because of so many muggles.
After a mornings run of 10 finds this was the one I really wanted. Unfortunately after 20 minutes searching with no muggles around I failed to find it.
There were a few muggles around, but they soon moved on and I had the entire area to myself to make the find. TFTC.
Sounds like this one needs replacing. I'm am disabling it while I organise another container.
On a mission looking for TBs for a visit overseas shortly, found the nearby cache but the bug was missing, and sadly could not find this one. Seems like an owner's check may be needed, as this is not the first DNF.
Found it after much searching.
Had to sit at the table and ponder since it wasnt where i first thought.
Dropped a trackable too!

This one was a little more hard to find but in the end my wife was the one to find it.
To the person who hid this cache you chose a very good spot definitely makes you think about where too look from the clue you give us.

We showed up trying to find this cache all I will say is that the clue says it's under foot....... Work off this clue haha.
You will be looking for a very small cylinder container with a camoflauge exterior.
Shot to the cache creator for making this cache (not to many items were found in this maybe due to the size of the container)

Easy find with the bday girl high5zoe. heaps of ducks swimming and enjoying the weather too. tftc
As I was up a bit too early to go to the supermarket this morning, I decided to go pick up some of the local caches (its about time I started getting them here, rather than when just travelling).
I walked right past the hinding spot, and started to look in some of the more harder places - which was good - as it gave me somewhere to duck as a car pulled into the driveway, and a runner went past... Upon heading back to the start point, I spotted the likely spot - and yep - there it was.

After attending an event in the area a few of us headed to find this cache. Was a fast find but had to be careful as plenty of muggles about including a four legged nasty under the platform. Tftc.
Borrowed a child to instead of using phone to find this one. Thanks CO on both counts!
Wandered over to this one with a borrowed child and a few others who were yet to collect this cache. A few muggles around but we managed to hunt without anyone noticing us. A quick find once we had found the right spot and the log was soon signed and returned. Said goodbye to the nearby rat and it was back to the sausages.
5.35pm - A chap turned up just as we started looking for cache. Now realised why there was so many ducks about. He came with bags of bread so guessed this was a regular thing. Soon found cache in it's hiding place. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Heading to an event in Hamilton.
We tried to wing this one without relying on the iPhone gps. When that failed to reveal anything, we were forced to use the gps... It became apparent where this one was. But as soon as we extracted it, a curious muggle strolled onto the viewing platform and stayed put. Luckily, another muggle arrived to rescue us. He began feeding the hoard of ducks which took the attention away from us. This gave us room to slip the cache back into place undetected... TFTC.

My day started badly by denting my visitor's car so I was very happy to walk straight to this one. More geocaching to come but hopefully no more dents!
Having investigated GZ earlier in the week to check the container was missing I returned today with a replacement. New container is smaller, please ensure it is tucked well back out of site.
I have replaced the missing container with a new smaller screw top container covered in camo tape. Please ensure its tucked well out of site.
Unfortunately the only thing we found was a green plane. Bumped into wicked weasel who had picked up a tb. Definitely muggled.
Not in the first place we looked, but in the second one, dropped a trackable, tftc iammrwalker
Having a look around, I think my GPS was being a little strange, but caching sense kicked in and I soon found it
TFTC iammrwalker, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 finds of 4 today, making this find #1545

We thought the first day of the year was the perfect day for a bit of cache maintenance, then decided to tidy up a few newcomers too as we haven't done any Hamilton caches for ages!
What a good container! Just the right colour to go unnoticed. I left a pair of smiley earrings. TFTC!

Lovely little spot and all quiet here this morning. A quick find of the cache. Log signed b&p. Find number 4171.
Thanks for the cache iammrwalker.
Thanks for the cache iammrwalker.
had time to sit and contemplate life while muggles moved on, then found, signed and returned, tftc
Nice quick find as we tried to clean up this side of the river. Nice spot to sit a while. TFTC
Found during a sunny jog along the beautiful Waikato river. Nice quick find in a lovely spot - thank you for bringing me here
The car was in for a service so we were out and about quite early for a weekend day. Stopped in here as there were only 2 cars in the car park & they were both empty. Cache was actually sitting out from its hiding place in plain sight, so once the log was signed, it was carefully tucked away. TFTC!!
There were a number of muggles and their vehicles in the car park and feathered muggles on the river, but none were really interested in us. The cache was exposed so placed it back a bit further.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Detoured on the way home to grab this one. A few muggles about, and a four legged one even came up to me to say hi! Turns out his owner was the muggle I was waiting for to leave, and who had just realised there dog was annoying people.
Found the cache in the first spot I checked, which was good as I couldn't have a decent look as there were to many muggles around. Thanks for the nice quick find.

I was in need for a find so I could earn the souvenir, after striking out big time yesterday with 4 DNF's in a row this was my last chance, arrived at GZ and all was quite, went searching...not where I thought it should be, looked a big harder, no good, walked back up the stairs and sat down at the top to have a harder think about it. was about to give up and it struck me, one more place to check, and there it was.
Well, that was unexpected!! I was walking the dog at Dey's park today with a teen who was more interested in all things poke-y than keeping me company completing park circuits. Then he wanted to stay longer so I fired up the phone GC app, thinking I'd head over to Danny park to look for the multi while I'm around here, only to see there's a new cache a few hundred metres away. No brainer ... off I went! Surprisingly quiet around GZ which made it easy to search but I couldnt find anything. Figured I'd sit at the nearby picnic table & read through the listing/recent logs, only to find the cache sitting on the table! Now why didnt I think of looking in such an obvious spot before now lol !! Log signed & a quick call to the CO to find out where to re-hide it - replaced as originally hidden with a rock door to hopefully protect it a bit more. Thanks for the unexpected fun at our fav dog park
It's Labour weekend and I should be at the Mega in Turangi, but instead I'm in Auckland collecting caches before having to work tomorrow, well thats life.
So with a few things planned for the day, it was a chance to work my way around the city and see what I would be able to collect.
Having finished the work part of my visit to Auckland it was back home, the long way around of course, and a final couple of caches that I've been meaning to collect
Thanks for the cache, Thanks for the placement

Was just on my way out of hamilton back to the mount when I saw this notification pop up - I was so determined to get my first FTF I drove all the way back to the other side of hamilton for a shot at it. Met a couple of cachers at GZ and we had a look but it was KayGeeDee who came along and found it almost immediately. Thanks for offering joint FTF
Got the notification "oooh only 2km's away!" Grabbed the boy (didn't even let him finish his dinner) and zoomed off to find what was hopefully going to be our first FTF. Sadly, no. 4th to find. Ah well, gotta be quick round here!
2406 Joint FTF
Arrived at parking to see a person heading towards GZ. At GZ there was already 2 other people looking. Obviously not made the find yet. Spoke to them before making the find and then all signing it. Nice to meet "out of towners" and a new local to me. Thought I would log it there but my phone wouldn't connect. Meanwhile another turned up so watched them make the find.

We were just leaving for dinner when this notification came through. We don't normally set them up when we are away but today we did. So off we went to find cache and 2 other cachers turned up at the same time. That would never happen in Hawkes Bay! Anyway we found a rat but not a cache and the clever guy that turned up put his hand on it straight away we all signed log together- a fun start to our time in Hamilton. TFTC
