Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

GeoCrater

I think it is time for the CO to check this one. Over zealous local taking action on public land all in good faith might have removed this one as it is close to the Scout Camp.

Got told by a guy that they can’t have it there due to the safety of the children

Co-ordinates point to an obvious spot, but following up on all the clues present in the description and the comments yields nothing. Checked every tree in the area from top to bottom with no luck. Wasn't keen on jumping any fences to trespass anywhere, either

We came upon your cache, BarraRaiders, while travelling from Crows Nest on our homeward journey to Brisbane, after enjoying the 2017 Rural Safari event.

Nice quick roadside find.

Log signed and replaced at 3:31 pm on 3 December 2017. TFTC.

The day after attending the Rural Safari in Crows Nest, decided to do some caches before heading home to Brisbane.
A quick and easy find . TFTC

Heading up to Crow's Nest for a few days for an event. Taking a bit of a scenic route and hunting for a few smileys along the way. Big Grin

The map on the GPSr was a bit off on this one. The cache showed as being on the other side of the road, but the numbers did not agree. I looked at the hint and at first it made no sense at all. Surprised Then I just went looking. Once I found the cache the hint made perfect sense. Big Grin

T-Tech and I are staying with Brother Colin in Toowoomba for the weekend, and today's plan is to attempt all of the SSE caches in one day, as well as get 120 finds in one day. Happily all was achieved.

The SSE series is now complete, but I still have another 11 finds to do to bring the day's tally up to 120. Well, there's 7 more up at Highfields...

This one gave us some grief, as GPS put us in a very thorny scrubby ditch Sad We searched it quite diligently, but got no smiley. A look at past logs showed youngoldfella's set of co-ords, and we realised it was a good 11 metres away and on the other side of the road Surprised I headed over there to the obvious spot and made the find. Decimals of 222 and 357 worked for me tonight. TFTC, BarraRaiders.

01-Jul-17
As part of finding all the SSE caches today IolantheK and I also added a number of other caches so that
the total today was 120 Big Grin
I think that we may be the first to log visit all the SSE caches and log them in one day [?]
IolantheK did a lot of planing working out the most efficient route and this aided in getting us through the collecting without a lot of doubling back over our tracks (Note my logging order doesn't reflect this, I've done the logging in SSE order).

Now back in Toowoomba we continued trying to find caches that IolantheK hadn't already done Twisted
This one and The Highfield Park series fitted the bill, and so for the next half hour highfields was the cache mine.

Love love love this Scout Campsite. Our all time favourite place. I camped here as a Cub scout in the 80's and now bring my own Cub pack all the way from Greenbank to make their own memories. TFTC

Needing a find for the day and with this cache being close to home and still on our unfound list it was out target for the afternoon. We used the co-ords that youngoldfela provided and found that they put us right on top of the hide. A nice quick find for us today.

Thanks BarraRaiders.

We decided to take on Toowoomba & surrounds again today as there are SO MANY coloured dots that need to be converted to yellow here! LOL ...

A quick find IPS.

Trying ever so slowly to fill in my caching calendar...had time today to venture a little further from home to save the more local ones for time poor days. All quiet this Christmas Eve morn so the find was straightforward using YOF's coords. Thanks BarraRaiders.

04-Dec-16
The cache co-ords had us on the road closer to the tree line. Do not go there it is full of spiky things. We noticed that YOF had posted different co-ords for the cache and when we used these we were spot on the cache. If you are the type of cacher that uses the listed co-ords first without reading hints or logs this cache will be a little difficult. Read the hint and no matter what co-ords the hide becomes obvious. SL TFTC

Caching plan for this week. Leave Nanango at bout 3am and make my way to South of the Border. Arrived here in the dark and it was not long before I had the container in hand. Co Ordinates were out for me as I was in the middle of the road. I understood the additional hint. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save space on the paper. Posted the co ordinates that worked for me. TFTC BarraRRaiders

Thought we were going to be FTF as the logs were not coming up on my app despite this being published a few days ago.
But alas, we missed out, as to be expected.
Nice cache. We could actually see from where we parked.
Thanks for the cache

{*FTF*} @ 1:00pm

I needed a cache to fill a calendar spot and since this one hadnt been found I went for a drive to try my luck. With an event happening at the scouting venue I was hoping not to be spied. The distance was great enough for me to sign my name. TFTC BarraRiders
