Thanks for your amazing cache squirrel nutcase. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.Found with Fisha1288 Cheers, Cympull.
Quick find with Cympull. Dont think cache was put back in correct place so Cympull moved the cache slightly so it is out of sight. TFC
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. We found and signed this cache in good condition. squirrel nutcase, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.
No, tak to m do vody nikdo nedostane. Bahno stkalo a do pl metru. Pak jsem to vzala siln vedlej silnic kolem trailu s kekami a njak si odlovila. Kolem opt zvlnn kopekov zelen krajina, ovce a krvy. In the morning I went to the river for an earth cache and then set off in the direction of Rotorua. Along the way, I made stops at attractions and also at caches. It was beautiful, up to 25C in the afternoon. The path is scenic and leads past lakes and various geothermal features. I visited hot streams and a mud lake and in the evening I arrived at Lake Rotorua, where I will stay for 2 nights. Thanks to everyone for their caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Took a couple of attempts to locate, found 2 possible cache locations that we were convinced it would be, but after doing some more realised what the hint meant. Found with Reschedule
A second attempt at this one and we figured it out.. very nice camo, caught it at the last second. Tftc and the updates one them!
Thought we'd take the scenic side route, so stopped to grab this cache. Will save the others to use as incentive to do by bike someday.TFTC!
It's day twenty-one of this months Wheel of Challenges challenge, the streak, and today I needed to find a cache. So I found this one.
Having spent the night in Mt Maunganui, today I was heading south and home. I had a handful of specific caches marked to find along the way for various reasons.
This one was on my list as the coordinates help me with a challenge cache I am trying to complete. All good here, log was signed and everything returned as it should be.
---
Thanks to squirrel nutcase for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

while we are in Rotorua we are visiting places we had not been to or had visited with our respective families many years ago and so we spent a day going down and visiting waimangu valley. We walked down , having our lunch on the way, and after a ride in the boat on Lake Rotomahana we caught the bus back up the steep hill thankfully ! it was quite an amazing day and we managed to stop at these caches on the way and all were fine except the one DNF at the bench mark I wonder if it is still there ?
thank you for these caches along here .

This is my fourth geocaching excursion to **beautiful New Zealand**!
Due to Covid [xx(] I had to wait for 3 long years to again return to my beloved [:X] Middle-Earth.
This time its a road trip enduring for 26 days, covering both North- and South-Island.
Today was dedicated to collect some smileys in order to complete the **'NZ 400 minutes longitude challenge'** (https://coord.info/GC7YQZ8) .
This geo-treasure contributed to the mission and the finds of today. Cool! [^]
A big thanks [:X] to the owner squirrel nutcase for hiding and maintaining this cache [^] - and best regards from Germany !

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked at the Ash Pit Rd DoC Campsite alongside Lake Rerewhaaitu for the next few days … planning to get in a few days R&R, assuming the rain stays away … but if it doesn’t, then we’ll just chill in our caravan … decided we’d go for a bit of a drive & see what local caches we could find … this was an easy find, log completed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,402 for us.
#13,207. Park, walk and grab on the Te Ara Ahi – Thermal by Bike Trail in Tumunui. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Another nice quick find here, which was lucky as the rain was just starting to come down, and it was nicely timed as the last cache of the day before heading home. TFTC
#10,626. I have been staying at my sisters place in Rotorua but today I am driving back to Wellington. Packed up and left nice and early in the morning so I could do a few caches on the trip south. This was one of them. Nice quick find here. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache exactly as found.
While signing the cache I had a visit from the local constabulary. I had parked the car and wandered down the trail to grab this cache. I looked over and saw a cop car pulled up beside my car and an officer peering in the window. I headed back. He thought it was an abandoned car as they are common in this area apparently. Anyway I explained I was geocaching close by and he seemed relieved that he wouldn't have to do any paperwork on this occasion. Thanks squirrel nutcase for hiding the cache here.

One of several caches we picked up today heading south to Taupo. This was a reasonably quick find. #4428. TFTC.
A nice quick find thanks. On my bike now and didn't know that I was on the Te Ara Ahi trail, except the caches were called that! I was to biking back to be picked up near the GC45 memorial cache. I didn't realise the caches were all P&G through here. I had a good ride anyway. Last of the day for me, now for the blast along the trail.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. It was a great weather today, We walked and drove and I biked to a bunch of caches in around Rotorua.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Followed a police car into the parking area here and they gave us a bit of a stare but then they went back to the highway to catch speedy drivers. Quickly found here.
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions.
Greetings from Dunedin!
Thanks for the cache, squirrel nutcase

Breezy & cold here this morning. Hope the day improves, but nice to be starting to collect these puzzle caches.
We headed out for a bike ride on a cool and cloudy morning. We were making our way along the cycle trail collecting the odd cache as we went. After riding on a rough bit of trail which was under water in parts after the overnight rain we made our way to gz. MrJAG found this in the first place he looked. TFTC
Stayed the night in Rotorua on our way up to Auckland to see the kids. Had lots of spare time to cache. Parked up near the main road and got the bike out. Good to stretch the legs and collect some smileys at the same time. No problems finding this one and log all fine. Thanks
We are on a North Island motorhome trip from Blenheim. Lots of wonderful places to visit in Aotearoa. Quick find here today. TFTC
I am down in Rotorua for a few days. I was joined earlier today my a couple of friends, but they had to skedaddle, so I continued by myself. TFTC.
Nice find for our first of the day as we geocache our way from Rotorua to Napier. TFTC.
We spent a delightful day exploring around this lovely rural area, before heading home to Tauranga in the late afternoon. Labour week end holiday, but there were not too many people around. A quick find and the cache is all good. Interesting to see the bike trail heading off here - will have to come and ride it a bit more. TFTC
Another quick stop on my drive from Masterton to Rotorua with the odd cache grab along the way. GZ was wonderfully quiet here and made a nice change of pace from the busy road, if only for a few minutes. TNLNSL TFTC
After heading down the valley and enjoying the cruise on the lake nearby we decided to grab a few caches along this road before heading home after a few magic days in the city. Our last cache for the day, happy to finish the day on a find.
Over from Tauranga for a couple of nights with grand daughter as it’s the school holidays. Cheers. All good here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Vacations 2019 - Road trip trough New Zealand
With Geoesposa, this was my 50th anniversary. 16 days, 4200Kms and a few hundreds smilles after, i was sure i saw nothing....
I liked everything, the friendly and civilized people, the way the country works, the roads and especially the natural beauty of New Zealand.
I fell in love....
I decided to go back in 5 years, I easily see myself living my last days somewhere lost in any stunning scenery of this wonderful country.
With the itinerary studied at home, the caches were the ones that were in the chosen places, and a few used to stretch the legs. It was decidedly not the most important on this trip. Of all the visited, only half a dozen did not appear, all being in good health except two or three.
I will use this generic log, not for disrespect of the owners, but due to the amount of caches visited. Here the majority of caches serve to show something beautiful (as it should be), not giving importance to the container.
My thanks to all the ownwers who, allied to the natural beauty of the country, have made this vacation unforgettable.
