Served its purpose, but the face of the paddocks will be changing again and access will not be possible soon. So I am removing before it does become an issue.
A nice find around some open and peaceful land, captured the Munzee next to it as well, TFTC!
A quick find, I signed the log first and then switched apps to capture the munzee, tftc and the munzee
Thanks spent a few minutes looking in the wrong spot but soon corrected when finding other game piece thanks for maintaining
Found at dusk - after walking from the School of Arts where I saw “Captain Moonlight”.TFTC
OCW GGCoconut and HJCoconut. HJC had ordered something from Big W which was only available for pickup from Richmond so we made the drive out this afternoon. Although it's not exactly on the other side of the world, it's far enough away for us that we wanted to make it worthwhile - so after picking up the item, we grabbed some yummy ice cream from the local ice creamery and set about picking up a few caches.
With the sun about to set, we parked the geo-mobile on the side of the road and walked over to GZ. It seemed we had actually picked the perfect time to come here with not only a beautiful view of the mountains and the sun setting behind them but as we soon realised - heaps of kangaroos doing their thing in the paddock! We could see some shapes in the distance and original weren't sure what they were until they began to bound across! We then realised there were actually quite a few closer to us to, but we hadn't realised as they blended in with the grass so well in the hazy, fading light. Super cool!
A nice quick find of the cache itself, signed and replaced and time to begin the hour long drive home.
Cheers Swampgecko!

Defiantly hanging on a rope a bit hard cause the fence is covering it but pretty easy to find
Now on our return journey, after talking to CO we headed here. Quick find as CO said it would be. Tftc
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches that have appeared around Luddenham & Wallacia since our last visit to the area, and will have a go at the new GFA Adventure Lab. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains to visit some previously unexplored caching locations, revisiting areas around Penrith & suburbs that have new or replaced caches, and maybe finish with a visit to the Londonderry area. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base.
Today we headed up to Richmond, going via Llandilo and The Northern Road, then returning via Londonderry Road. This was the 16th of 28 finds for the day (day 3), and 44th find of the holiday.
A nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Swampgecko.

3rd and my last find upon giving geoson a driving lesson. Relieved it was a quick find. The sounds of frogs from the pond nearby is overwhelming.

The second roadtrip after lockdown with the goal of of reaching 10,000 finds by year end. Covid-19 lockdown put a spanner in the works and with only two months remaining in 2021 to find 200+ caches. So it was time to select caches based on quantity rather than quality. However there were still caches on beautiful and unexpected locations.
So today's trip brought me to the area of Richmond, Kurmond and Kurrajong. I also planned a bit of an off-road trip to Mountain Lagoon for three out-of-the-way caches.
I don't like that other gamepiece. I'd rather stick to real geocaching. A quick find and on to the next.
This was 12 of 31 finds today. TFTC!

Another quick P+G. Went out and about in the early evening, sun is still up and temperature has dropped away a little from the high of 34C earlier today.
Mercifully, the cache was sensibly placed making fir a quick find. The log is over full and there is a distinct country smell just over the fence.
3rd find in one day! 19/10/20. Couldn’t put our name down as there was no space. So fun!
