Caching takes us to some delightful little parks and reserves, such as this and to find four caches here was a real bonus. H-P remembers having a budgie as a pet but there was certainly no smuggling going on.
Unfortunately, access to the cache log proved extremely difficult and the cache was damaged in gaining access to the log. Full details provided to CO.
Our thanks to 'Kookacrew' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

This is a fantastic geocaching location, pretty patches of swamp, bridge walks, birds, paperbark tree tunnels and fun finds including this one. Thanks for the cache, the boys were very excited when they spotted this one.
Found with the grumpi (nephews) on a wander around the lake. A read of the description should help keep the head up.
An enjoyable walk towards your cache with Whitepaws9. Very nice park. It took us a few minutes to find it. Cute container.
Thanks Kookacrew for the cache

Found soon after attending the Millicent GeoVenture2020 event on my way to Mt Gambier for the weekend. Thanks for the cache Kookacrew!
Wow, a nice little cache hide in a lovely park near a pretty lake. Our first favourite to be awarded after doing about 60 caches this weekend so far. Serves us right for doing a nearby power trail.
TFTC Kookacrew and a favourite from us.

Mr Tardis was out for a caching weekend down in the south east and a find bunch of new caches in Tantanoola and the surrounding area.
I found this after a short search while waiting for the near by caching event to start. A cleverly hidden cache.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Kookacrew.

Today was my final day in the southeast region before heading back to Adelaide. A final cave dive was had, before then driving on to Millicent for the OzAdventure 2020 promotion event, geocaching along the way. After having a good chat and finding the geocaches around Lake McIntyre where the event was held, I then found a few need ladder geocaches on the highway back to Kingston, and made a slight detour out towards Robe. Although there was intermittent showers earlier, it was only here when the sky unloaded with heavy rain, and arrived back to Adelaide a little earlier than my forecast ETA.
After the event, [@Laighside Legends](http://coord.info/PR3BCW0) and I walked to this geocache, and I really enjoyed Lake McIntyre area. It was really pretty full of birdlife, and the paths were well maintained. At GZ, I eyed the creative cache, with logbook signed and replaced. All in all, it was a pleasure finding this one, thanks Kookacrew, Favourite Point from me!

While staying nearby in Millicent we visited this beautiful area and grabbed a couple of caches while we were at it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the lake watching the thousands of birds going about their lives, and also finding this delightful hide
Many thanks for the cache Kookacrew...a favourite point on it’s way

A very pleasant spot to spend some time. Lots of water birds and one budgie seen here. I wonder who smuggled that in? TFTC

Out with CPwanderer caching our way back to Adelaide.
Never knew this place was here ( and I use to live here...)
A lovely walk & was more pleasant with a lower temperature to cache in.
Thanks for bringing us here Kookacrew

Suscoe was enjoying a few days at Mount Gambier and surrounds this week leading up to Easter.
We experienced a strange but familiar pattern of weather with a storm last weekend, with hail, rain and strong winds and towards the end of the week we had calm and sunny days. Just like home.
Anyway, we enjoyed the caching, so many different locations and interesting hides.
Well done to all the cachers for the work done in creating and hiding their caches for us to find.
It was the day after that cold front and things were settling down a bit but there were still a few showers about and a cold wind.
Millicent is a delightful area to explore.
Thanks to Kookacrew for this hide.
All good at GZ.

with the river rising we were told to go on holidays so what do you do.
Caching time.
Now we have wandered down towards Anglesea and found many other like minded people so the caching adventure grows stronger.
soon the event was over so the wandering continued
Thanks Kookacrew for putting this cache out for us to find

Fantastic way to finish off a day of caching. Loved this cache and the walk to it. TFTC
We used this cache to get the Haunted Hides souvenir but it wasn't a straight forward affair. Instead of going by the GPS we hunted here and there but could not find the budgie. Had a better look around GZ and found the tricky little bugger.
