It's tricky for vertically challenged cachers to get this cache and it's probably time for a change. It will also free up this area for new caches.
Oh no....if it's where I am thinking I would need a ladder .

After the *fun and games* of yesterday (read my log for GC6WC6D) it's a totally different day today.
No weather. Well behaved geohound, and easy find. In line with my Goal of a streak of consecutive daily cache finds I am successful. TFTC

(# 5155). On a trip to the Bay of Plenty to visit relatives and decided to grab some caches as well. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC

Clever hiding spot. We’re unsure what TOTT meant but found it anyway!! Thanks for a great hide
Tried to get this one yesterday but I was unable to reach it and ended up moving it even further out of reach. This morning I picked up the person with the longest arms I know from the airport and bought him here to retrieve it for me. He still needed a stick though. Thanks for the adventure!
Found with lucypear after she discovered the cache yesterday and couldn't reach! She brought in long arms for backup and we grabbed the cache... After sizing up a few sticks for usefulness.
#757 - I have never been down here before, such a wide open space. Located cache pretty quickly but getting my hands on it was another matter! I managed to find a useful tool nearby which helped TFTC
Out and about chasing hidden creatures on a miserably wet day, are we stupid or what? No problem with the find TFTC.
Find number 4047. I had a look for this one some time ago and had no success. Back today for another look. A group from the school was doing some gardening on a bank on the way to GZ. A magpie was standing guard on the goal posts. My GPS had me in a different place than last time. I thought no wonder I did not find it. Finding it was the easy part. Getting my hands on it took a bit longer and did require a tool to do so. Thank you for the placement.
When logging the cache I noticed that it has moved since I last looked.

It was dark and we were on the wrong side of the stream, had a look and managed to cross over and up the bank to this one.
Not many possible hiding places so soon spotted, but getting it out took a while.

In Tauranga for a conference this weekend and making the most of my late evenings & early mornings to grab a few caches while I'm in the area. There were muggles galore working nearby in the gully (doing a great job too) so, although I’d worked out where the cache was hidden, I couldn’t work out how to extract the well-tucked away log without attracting the muggles’ attention & didn’t want to compromise the cache. I resorted to a photo log and explained my predicament to the CO at the Papamoa event later on. Hopefully the next finder has longer arms than me TFTC
Super quick find, after a walk from the car. Although i did notice that the last name on the long before me was Davidson Clan.... armchair loggers are only cheating themselves . Thanks for putting another smiley on my face
Just enough time to grab a few caches this evening while the kids were busy. Nice evening for a stroll in the park quick find .

Heading over the BOP this evening with Mr McC for an evenings caching before the event in the morning. So this was going to be a long evening and lots of fun. Hopefully the rain would hold off for most of the time (although I didn't hold out too much hope for that) but the caches would be in good order (was sure that that would be the case). All caches signed "MCCD" or a variation of as we got more tired as the evening progressed.
Started at the most northerly point and worked our way back towards Tauranga. Collected this as we headed back to the car, glad we didn't suffer from "ducks disease".
Great place for a cache and a very pleasent wander (even as it persisted down)
Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Out with Cats&Dragons on a late night - early morning cache run. Logs were signed MCCD but may have varied a bit as tiredness settled in. Thanks for placing this cache and giving us a reason to visit
Went straight to the wrong place for this. Looked back and spotted what I thought was the cache. Not expecting it to be there. Great hiding place.
A bit of a last minute change of plans meant 11HPG11 and myself were heading back to Tga for another assault on it's caches. We were also meeting up with Kiwis69 who had been over their most of the day, with the main goal of the new night caches, plus whatever else we could find before we had to head home.
Had started this search at the old co-ords before I realized the GPS was still pointing me 20m away. A quick find as we approached GZ.

Well after a fantastic Sunday caching over here with Kiwis69 and HKCB what else is there to do after a day at work but to drive over and cache till midnight! Nothing better to be doing on a Monday night, sleep is for the weak (or for the weekend?) Redbull for brekkie on tuesday morning to make sure I was bright eyed for work after a few hrs sleep
It was rainy in Hamilton, foggy on the Kaimais and then a lovely mild evening in Tauranga. Logs were signed as HK1 to save room.
Once we realised where we needed to be searching it was a quick find. HKCB spotted on approach. Glad for my tall friends.

Caching with Tigatat2 and CeeVee and this time it was CV on target first. A faster walker than the rest of us. Lol.
A team effort to extract this one. All signed.

Yeah first to sign new log. Found with Tigatat2 and My Precious. Team effort was required. Cheers
Doing some late afternoon caches with My.Precious and CeeVee. The ground was a bit damp after a shower or two. It was a team effort to get the log signed.

Checked this morning and it's gone. Will replace when I've prepared a suitable container.
Second time out hunting for this one and no luck. I gather it's not up the bank as per the comments. I feel like it's been tampered with or scattered by the bad weather. Has anyone seen it lately? I would've guessed it would be in this hole...
Don't know why I didn't spot this last time, stupidly went way up the bank, when it was actually a really easy find (:

Another FTF hunt to Tauranga this time, and again beaten to it, decided to carry on caching for the afternoon as we had not been here for caching reasons for a long time, got a haul of 20 for the afternoon/evening.
Knew roughly where it would be on approach...

You are indeed right, the cache is most certainly in line with your goals The cache was again quickly located in the most obvious location. Again, nicely done - TFTC!
A post Christmas adventure with the dog...
After walking several kilometres in the hot sun, we were looking for something low key and shady. We remembered this area from the other day... Not sure why we didn't come after these hides then. We could see the hint object from a distance. We wondered how this one would be placed, as there didn't seem to be much in the way of hiding places. This resulted in a quick find... TFTC.

11.35am - Well perhaps one more cache today. Just have to be careful getting this cache out not to damage hiding spot. SLTFTC
It's not a particularly nice day - but we decided we needed a reason to get outdoors - what better than a walk to find a cache - all quiet at GZ, making for straight-forward retrieval of the cache. Thanks for the placement tryfyn.
My goal tonight was to find and log this cache and then get tea. Tick cache so now for takeaways. Thanks for the placement.

Funny but I found the co ords pretty much spot on & together with the hint the job was done & dusted in no time. Thanks tryfyn,a job well done for your first cache.
We parked on Little John Drive and made the wander down. This was our first stop and it's been a good 15 years since I was in this area last so all the memories started flooding back. The title was prefect and I didn't feel a need for corrected coords. Cheers tryfyn TFTC but I was curious as too where public access stopped and private property began?
Also might be a T1.5 due to wheelchair accessibility

Spare time after walk so I thought I would come for a walk to get these two new caches. Had read the logs and spotted the hint as walking up - School was well out so it was very quiet at the GZ but you would have to be careful at particular times of the day. The cords were out for me too - I took a couple of readings and got S 37 40.687 E 176 07.899 TFTC
Arrived at gz to find the others hunting. Disregarded the coordinates and used the title to locate cache. Another joint ftf. Thanks for bringing us here
Thanks to all for the kind feedback. I'll try to sort the co-ords over the next few days (though it doesn't seem to have hindered anyone). But who do I assign FTF to?
Found on the way back from the nearby cache. The cache is right where the name implies, but the co ords for me were a bit out. Mosh was no help whatsoever.
Regardless, found with Teq and Barker (who like to confuse people by referring to themselves as their real names rather than their caching names), and replaced as found.
TFTC!

Phew. Felt like I was on the amazing race!! Good to share FTF. Found the co ords out a few meters. Thanks Tryfyn for the hide.
