Caching in the area with @MayFamily. We love that caching is a great way to discover places. Such a rich history here. TFTC
Interesting history for this location, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Great location for a cache.

Another nice quick find here, but i dont particularly want to get back in the geovehicle. The geopooch found a dead something while i was working on the last cache, it will be windows down all the way tonight i think.
Heading away to Corowa with Bogonghazy for a couple of days. This took a bit to find. Thanks Robmc for placing the geocache
Found this rapidly in the dark with spot on co ordinates.
The smell of eucalyptus around here is absolutely divine.
TFTC and clearing all the nasal passages!

Found on our little journey for palindrome day on a 2'sday.
Heading to Mooroopna for a meal with like minded cachers but decided an afternoon of caching would be a great idea, so we are journeying to Rushworth, Tatura the Mooroopna.
Found quickly and cache in good condition.
Stamped log and continued our journey.

Love the history here and it is a pity it is not a Sunday as the steam traction engine would be amazing to see.
Thanks Rob.
Thanks Rob.
Toot toot. A cache. We did not need to whistle here. RIP Jack.
Thanks Robmc and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

For my personal challenges, I needed to keep my streak going - day 359, a multi, a mystery, a lab and a regular. Neither the multi nor the mystery that I had targeted were regular size so I added this one to the list for today. When I arrived near GZ there was a car already parked nearby and I wondered if they were fellow cachers, but I didn't get to find out as they drove off.
I did get to read more and thanks for the history lesson. What a fascinating place this is.
A good quick find thanks Robmc for which I was very grateful as I still had a way to go this afternoon.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

last cache of the day for team pikachu and team squirtle! log books zip lock has a hole but the cache is in good nick!TFTC!
Out on a drive to Rushworth, we stopped for a cache or two along the way. Although it was raining heavily, this cache was dry and in good condition. I certainly wouldn’t want to be in front of a 30 ton steam traction engine! . Thanks Robmc.
Found this cache on 7.2.21 at 4:08pm. Enjoying having a family road trip around Rushworth looking for caches.
Found on a day out with Nan, log book a bit damp. Cleaned rocks out of container and replaced snaplock bag. Left a smiley badge. Tftc
Was it the urge to go travelling?
Was it being cooped up with the Co-vid19 virus?
Was it the draw of the sunshine up north?
Was it the bite on the rod of the great Murray Cod?
Was it running out of the fine liqueurs from the Rutherglen wineries?
Whatever it was, the team dusted off the caravan and scraped off the mould, and got out of home.
After being cooped up for the last few months with Co-vid19 virus we finally got let out of the house – whoo hoo - parole! We’re free, after the police check point on the Hume Fwy leaving the Mitchell Shire checking every vehicle. And besides we needed to get back to the Rutherglen wineries as we finished all our liqueurs while locked down. OK, any excuse to go travelling. We love it. So we spent a couple of days free camping on the Murray River, having some time out, some time to re-coop, keeping warm by the camp fire and in the local wineries as well, spending our money supporting the local businesses.
Found at 12:15pm after staying in Kyabram for a few nights. Shame the sign with the Whistle Stop is no longer there.

Found on a school holiday adventure with Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, Neisha07, Boo09, AdamSistema & LukeSistema as well as geo-pup Sammy).
We headed off to Whroo then back to Bendigo for some dinner and more caching by torchlight before heading home. What a great story on the board too with the grandson blowing the whistle for the final time. TFTC

School holidays are upon us so TeamClarmensma (myself and my kids AdamSistema & LukeSistema, and becca85 and her kids neisha07 & boo09) reformed for some geocaching fun targeting Rushworth, Whroo & Bendigo. Great story on this sign. Lots of lovely history! That’s for the cache - an easy find.
Found by PR&F on 9/1/20 @ 3.15pm
A quick find before heading back to Colby.
Geo kid spotted GZ from the car!

Found on day two of my three day plan.
Three days and three trips to Rushworth for my last three caches in the area (closest to home).
The things we do to fill a calender grid.
I can proudly say that my kids and I have had the priveledge of riding up and down the main street of Rushworth in the basket of the restored steam engine mentioned on the cache page. A vivid memory from the same day we witnessed opera being perfomed in the supermarket. [^]
With limited time between jobs, I shot out to put my name in this logbook.
A quick "Whistle Stop" whistle stop and I was heading back to work.
