No joy here. Had what I thought was a good look, but no cache could be spied.
Thanks anyway NN...

Looked in all the places possible, not sure if I found its hidey hole but no luck today
A quick find,a very wet route to the cache, but all good after the recent rains. TFTC
**Found whilst in Ararat for a couple of nights**
A pleasant day with lovely sunshine which is rare enough this time of year. Ventured out here to clean out a few caches and bank some smilies for the Signals Labyrinth souvenir. Nice to have the area to myself.
A nice straight forward find here.
Thank you Nards_Nuggles for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts.

An afternoon spent caching in Ararat Regional Park returned a pretty good success rate, with only two DNFs recorded. The majority had excellent coords, was a little surprised that so many were micros, and all caches were in good condition bar one. Several logbooks need replacing if they are to stay on the caching gameboard.
Thx to Riddell for his log or I wouldn't have found this one. With coords 15m out maybe an update is in order?

We were heading through from Portland to Mildura to do the fireworks for New Years Eve up there and naturally we were going to break up the drive with a few caches outside built up areas and also close to the road.
There was four of these in Moyston so we decided to take a detour to check them out.
We spotted this raod on our way into the Cherry Tree series and a quick check showed that there was a cache on it so we had to stop and try our luck on the way back. It was found fairly quickly and our name was added to the log
Thanks again Nards+Nuggles for the cache.

GT37 and I are enjoying or driving adventures up here. It is not a place that we have often visited and not since either of us started caching really. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

This one took a while to track down but I eventually spied it in the distance, at the cache I had 12 metres to my indicated GZ.

Our pointing machines seemed to have us quite a few metres from where we found the cache. Maybe because it is now February and New Years Day has gone this year! SL at 12.57pm #6881 TFTC Nards_Nuggles
And rather inappropriately,
I found this cache on February 8
Only about six weeks too late

A weekend away to clear up a little bit more in Ballarat and surrounds.
Thanks to all the cache owners.

I came into this part of the park 2 months ago to do the Cherry tree series, but I left a few of the caches around the area as I was short on time, back today I made the ice walk around through the trees collecting the last few that were left over. The cache was quickly found and is all good.

Found 10 meters off GZ. Replaced the log sheet.
Out after the mega event. Day 84 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 18 for the day and 2400 for the trip. TFTC

After wandering in circles for a while we read some logs and punched in Muff1 coordinates then made a quick find. We signed as TT to save room as the log is nearly full.

As we approached this area we had to pull over and wait for a truck to come by after it had delivered about sixty bee hives to a clearing about 200m from the cache. Once the truck had gone, we used the coordinates provided by muff1 and their accuracy led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Nards_Nuggles for the cache.
A slight detour on the way home to nab a few more caches. I parked and walked into this one as after the rain we’ve had the entries were both big puzzles. Like others I overshot the cache and came back to it. Many thanks.
This one had me stumped. Used phone and GPS and still had no luck. When back through the logs and found another set of coordinates, tried those and now I get a smiley. Thanks for this cache. Find No: 988
TFTC. We are camped at Green Hill Lake for a few days before heading home to Maryborough. WEe needed to head into town this morning for fuel and groceries. Before doing that though we spent a couple of hours caching.
This took a little longer to locate. We had been distracted by the previous cache and looking for something else. Read a few logs and used the co-rods that Muff1 had put in their log. Bingo.

Found during a flying visit to the area, our local caching partner showing us some of the local sites and tracks took us to a couple of finds along the way, loved the find, log retrieved, signed and replaced, TFTC and all the fun
This one took a little bit of looking, obviously we were distracted by an article near the base of a tree. We read back through the logs and found a hint in one of them and headed there and soon spotted a very obvious cache. The co-ords we used were S37 14.948 E142 56.545. SL TFTC
the bug bit hard today & i could no longer ignore the itch that had to be scratched. missing my partner in crime i set out with Buddy the faithful puddin' jack who signed his own log books along the way as he played the doggy version. i've driven these tracks a lot before i found the fun of cacheing - nice find. the co-ords were a little out for me today so had to scratch around bout 15 m away from GZ. still fun & Mistress Time gives her approval (see gallery)
Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! As with a previous finder we found actual GZ some 11m. away!!
This was CPwanderer's 25th find for the day and about 24 or 23 for me. Aussie Mary. It was cold and wet, and 11 metres off from our GZ, as Phetlern described in his log. An interesting spot although not as I pictured from the description. Most of the New Year Day road was excellent and easy to drive despite yesterday and todays wet weather.
Thanks for all of your caches that we found today....

Cold, wet and windy weather was not a sufficient deterrent to keep us from a day's caching in and around Ararat today.
Another appropriate cache for a wet day, not sure we would like to be here on the "Real" day.
Satellites today had our GZ 11metres NW of where we found the cache.
Thanks 'Nards_Nuggles' for this placement.

In Ararat for the Good friday Event and some caches with wozzle68. The car got very close to GZ so it was just a matter of jumping out and finding the cache, or so we thought. Our devices took us to a slightly different spot where nothing was sighted so we just widen our search perimeter and the hide was found.
Thanks Nards_Nuggles for the placement.

TFTC - Had planned to go to Ararat Meet & Greet, but arrived too late. So off I went searching. Got side-tracked for a while (feeling sorry for "Miss") When along came an experienced cacher - au.fait who shared her knowledge and expertise.
Met a very puzzled looking cacher from Hamilton here on the hunt for this one. I joined in to no avail. After some time I spotted something 15m away. Bingo. A very appropriate cache Nards Nuggles
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Found during a trip back to Ararat for the weekend.
A lovely day for a walk around this area.
Nice cache hide and plenty of Wildflowers around right now.

Suscoe headed out early for a big day of caching around the Ararat, Stawell, and Grampians area.
It was a beaut day compared with yesterday's chilly rain, sleet and cold.
We had a good bit of sunshine from time to time and also the occasional rainy reminders of yesterday.
We even caught up with Chooknchunk and Wozzle for a coffee and chat, the nice things that happen when we are out caching.
Thanks to Nards_Nuggles for this cache, all quiet out here today.

Tick tock for sure #1 for the day. Took me a while. So busy checking the phone. The moment I started to look I had it. Nards Nuggles you're a wonder
We had a chance today to find our last few unfound caches in the Ararat area. It was very quiet out in this area today - as it usually is. tftc
Up in Ararat with Wozzle68 to do some shopping and some cache maintenance, and pick up a couple more caches while we were at it.
This was a quick easy find. While the boys were signing the log, the property owner pulled up and asked us what we were doing, and we explained of course. TFTC Nards Nuggles.
