On a long weekend caching trip from Mackay thanks to Mackay Show holiday. In the search of caches I have missed on previous trips. Found with mackay_geocaching TFTC SL Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.Tried to access these three caches by Kelly's Landing Road but drove down the road and there is a a Road Closed sign across the road. After a bit of online research found another way in by driving along Byfield Road then turning right onto Corbett's Landing Road and then a right in the back tracks. Followed the dirt road and saw the map turned into a dashed line at the end of the dirt track and continued in to eventually come across Kelly's Landing Road at the Black Stump cache. This is not a track for faint hearted. I had my tinny on the back and counted 32 times I crossed water from Byfield Road to exiting Farnborough Road. I used the winch a couple of times and the Landcruiser with 2inch lift had water up the doors at couple of times. Got stuck once and had to crawl out the drivers window to get the winch attached to a tree and skull drag out of a water bog. Fun times hey. Only damage sustained is missing boat trailer number plate, but that could be at the Fishing Creek Road end from my adventures this morning. Thanks Temengi, these 3 caches in great condition and thanks for placing them, loads of fun had today.

We're keen to collect the full set of "The Land of Nowhere" geocaches to help with D/T chasing (well, I am at least Big Grin) so since I haven't yet solved several of the puzzles, we decided to head over to collect these three trads while we had some spare time today. Advantage: we got to see a part of the countryside we didn't know about! Thanks for find #5050TNLN

After visiting Farmborough school fair we did the drive up to the "Land of Nowhere" to find the cache along a bumpy road with many puddles which made it worthwhile. Took a bit of searching to come up with the cache . Was a great experience, worth a fav point. Thanks Temingi for the effort of placing the cache.

Final day of visiting this beautiful town of Yeppoon with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC and youngoldfella.
Beaut lot of puzzles and traditionals in town, some were hard to spot, some we needed the generous help of the CO. All caches were in good condition when found and my apologies for the generic logs.

Day twenty-five of our northern trip. Exploring Yeppoon for the last day before making our way home for Christmas. Out and about with hatzofff, Youngoldfella, and Snickersallan today.

Early morning goal: a quick 4WD trip up to Water Park Creek for a few caches. This was the third of the three caches in this area. It was a bit rough getting here the way I went - lots of broken grass. Snickersallan came in the longer but safer way. The cache was soon spotted, and Youngoldfella and hatzofff guided us back up a better way. Now down to look at the creek and boat ramp, where we saw a family camped. Looks like they had been there quite a while - they were wery well set up!

Log signed and cache replaced as found on December 21, 2020. TFTC, Temingi

Out caching with Geo Friends RoddyC, Snickersallan and hatzofff.

Caching around Yeppoon today. I loved the drive out to this one as I have never been out this way before. Thanks for bringing me here. After finding this one which was the third one on the road I drove us down to the end of the road to see that a family had set up a very well organised camp for a few days. Boat, fishing Rods, Trail bikes and plenty of water. What else do you need. Oh a tent and a camper trailer. TFTC Temingi

After spending a week just south of Bundaberg doing a farm sit so the family could go away for a well earned break, we decided to head north to Yeppoon for a few days to find a few caches to complete some more of the spaces on our next D/T Loop.

We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name in the log book, we continued on our way.

Thank you Temingi for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Big Grin

This one seems a little obvious, we didn't encounter any of the attributes here but thats cool I can deal with that and so can the rest of us.

Log signed, clues collected, Did I check the others, I guess I did as we have all the clues from each of the caches in this series we have attempted so far. Twisted

Onward to see if we can turn at the roundabout.

TFTC Temingi we are off to have chilli crab for lunch before we head home again. Till next time.

Wahoo wahoo wahoo [*FTF*] third first four two day Wink let's see, yep, pretty views, prickly plants loaded with green ants ( I rhyme this time) no room service so I dunno what 24/7 stands for, didn't see a cow a child or a tick, what else is there oh yeah, we located that attribute too. Sorry about the messy log but I was halfway through when the cache guardian dropped by to ask what we thought we were doing. That explains the difficulty rating! All good after a brief hiatus we were able to return cache with a little swap cautiously perform my ftf dance and continue on our merry way. Loved the drive. Thanks for bringing us here.
