Logs
Cache had slipped out of its string holder & disappeared but found the water proof log.Didn't have any containers with me but hid the log at GZ-it's out of sight & should be fine.
The lockdown has lifted, but with our International wings clipped, a domestic road trip is in full swing.
A quiet spot on a sunny morning, Thanks
A quiet spot on a sunny morning, Thanks
Went for a short walk here to find the cache with watcache. I couldnt go too close to the cache location as I may have fell into the water so watcache helped for this one. Tftc

Thought we were going to fall in the pond but we managed to stay dry and find the cache! Thanks for placing.
We looked and looked and looked, finally FF65 made the find! YAH! Thanks for the hide!
It was getting rather late but I was crazy enough to keep going and collect a few more! I was not quite sure how to approach gz from closer by, so I came straight through the camping ground, had a good chat with the owner, and even refilled my water bottle! Good hide! TFTC!!
It was pitty that Gannets track was closed, so we were looking for an alternative how to spend afternoon. Hunting caches was a good substitution Nice place, thx for the cache.
We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

Away in the Geocamper for a few days down Napier Hastings way taking the bikes and riding the trails and doing some caches. We drove to GZ across the stony foreshore. Saved us walking in this heat. At GZ persistence finally paid off when Mr S eventually made the find. We did wonder what was THAT used for.
Thanks TDFinders. One more smilie.

The cache description certainly helped to find this cache, at at interesting location, as for us the coordinates were a bit out. Our coordinates were S39 37.944 E176 59.207. TFTC
overlooked this initially but then spotted something slightly out of place. tftc. enjoying our bike ride along the trail and looking forward to lunch at the cafe at Clifton.
Cache quickly located and signed. Many thanks for the cache and the placement. Cheers
Stayed the night at the nearby campground and found on Tama's early morning constitutional walk. Logbook now full and disintegrating. TFTC

This was always going to be a bit of a caching trip in the company once again of HKCB. Having though about it and done a fair Its Been a while and now its time to catch up on all the logging that I've put off to a rainy day (while it may not be raining, where we were heading the roads are still closed hence sitting here doing this).
Over here for the Arts Deco Festival and a little bit of caching thrown in. We headed over early so as to get at least a little of the fine weather before the change and a weekend of rain. Just the opportunity to grab a few quick caches before heading along to view the Ganet colony. A great spot here full of eager people about to start the walk along the beach to cape kidnappers.
Finally managed to make the grab before moving on
So thank you for the placement, thank you for the cache.

This was finally the first cache in NZ. The neighboring campsite was the ideal starting point.
Another quick find. We didn't even know this littlest was here so thanks for bringing us here.
Not too much surf around today, and no surfers.. we did see some people filleting fish though, and found two seagulls with hooks in their mouths. Cache was quickly located and log signed. Tftc
We were camping very close by. An early morning find while all was quiet. There were potentially a lot of places to look, but first instincts were correct. Neatly hidden, thanks!
A nice evening stroll along the beach to get to gz. Along our way we saw a pair of undies, a guy catch a fish in his net, people with a camp fire, someone kayaking, quite a few people and some nicely decorated stones done in vivid we assume by some kids. Once at gz it was a quick sign of the log. Lovely evening to be out this way. Log signed b&p. Find number 4186.
Thanks for the cache TDFinders.

Thanks for the cache. This is our find number 647 and we found it at 2:57:39 PM NZDT on 2 January 2017. Out for a few caches around our holiday bach at Haumoana. Lovely spot! On a breezy day.
Over thinking geocacher BBear. Doh why not look there first. Not many peeps fishing today although the unattended fire was a bit of of a concern. Thanks for the cache.
Nice walk along the beach on a warm day. A quick search and cache soon found, signed and placed back. Thanks for bring me here, nice spot, gave it a FP. Cheers.
Quick walk and cache was soon in hand. cant believe I was the second name on the log. TFTC
With one of us needing a break from school report writing we thought a quick dash out here for a 30min dog walk would be a good excuse to refresh the mind. After a quick walk cache was soon in hand. Many thanks for placing these caches out here. [FTF]
