Logs
5 and a half years ago I got a dnf one this one.Today I turned that frown upside down and no longer have to look at that blue face taunting me.Not sure it was were it was meant to be but replaced it where I found it.Happily SL and TFTC
TFTC - Visiting some friend in dysart and took them on their first geocache adventure
Clermont - DysartAn overnight stay to find a couple of caches.Luckily we read the hint for this as there is so many places a cache could be hidden. We were so pleased when hubby found the cache only to be even more surprised that our name was already on the log. We signed the log again next to our previous find. It was probably about 2017.Thanks Chonbrie-nic for hiding this cache.
Too many hornets and nests in vicinity and Im allergic to these critters, maybe next time
6 years ago when I was last passing through, I was forced to DNF this one. Today, I literally walked up, and spotted it instantly. Not sure if it's been moved to an easier location, or if I'm just getting better at finding them. Feels so good to turn a frown into a smiley face!Tftc!
Took a second look and a read of th logs and found it well concealed, definitely Dysarts number 1 cache, thanks.
Searched for ages using the hint but just couldn't find. Covered in coal and grease but that's ok Will have to return another day for this one!
Out for a drive on Australia Day. This was the first cache of the day. It was located after a short search thanks to the helpful hint. This is an interesting spot. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Finally after many goes we found it!
Needed extra clues.
A strong torch will help the hunt.
Put back where we found it

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
01/08/21 After having again looked for this one a couple of days agi and having no luck. Reached out to CO. Yes I am searching in correct location. Returned today with new found knowledge and searched again. Made the find 3rd tome lucky. TFTC SL Fav Point
Day 8 - Last day of our little driving holiday
Rubyvale to Mackay
and decided to do the Cotherstone Road from Capella
and have 'another' look here - OK - I have had a few attempts years ago
what's that saying about insanity and expecting a different result
... still nothing
moved on when a car load of muggles turned up
... oh great ... and now a flat tyre to boot
another for another time ... after the CO tells me exactly where it is

30/12/20 Roadtrip Mackay to Emerald to Barcaldine to Aramac to Blackall to Jericho over the next 3 weeks. TFTC SL Gave it 15minutes no find
3:48PM
4th attempt - was always in the right position, but always complicated the search by looking in places I didn't have to!
Thanks to the CO for a hint on this cache!
TFTC,
Jay of GemJay.

Travelling Moranbah to Blackdown National Park. Spent ages here yesterday looking for it. Knocked my head half a dozen times crawling under the truck. Had to leave after 20 minutes but I didn’t want to let this one go. On the way back home today, I had another go. Victory!!!! Out of sight but definitely not out of reach.

Another 6 months year later. Another extensive 30min-long search at the position 8 tyre - and nothing.
TFTH,

Couldn't believe it! Yes. It's still there. I took the TB and will logged it now.
I love those huge trucks, but wouldn't like to pay for the tyre.
Thanks for the cache and your ongoing checking!

Day 1 of my 4 day trip from Mackay to Emerald and Rockhampton.
Pulled up and headed straight to the GZ.
Had to google the hint and was straight onto it.
After a good look, I was unable to find the prize in this occassion.
This DNF gives me an excuse to come back some day.

Checked today, all's good & left a travel bug. Please keep it moving & log correctly.
Quick stop on our way through town with 19PJR79, Jezza the GeoKid and GeoPeacock and two muggle kids. Cache located quickly, hint helped p, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Took us a while but we found it. Beware of oil leaks under the truck if you have no intentions of washing your hair anytime soon. Thanks so much!

One year later. An extensive 45min-long search at the position 8 tyre - and nothing.

Still on our way to QOGM 2018 in Barcaldine. Caching along the way. It has been interesting caching with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC as I am usually caching alone. Good to have company and looking out for each other. TFTC Chonbrie-nic
We came across your cache, Chonbrie-nic, on our way with youngoldfella, caching towards this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
After a good while and a bit of wand waving it fell to the ground.
Log signed and cache replaced at 9:46 AM on September 21, 2018. TFTC.

Had a quick search after lunch in the park with the birds but no Smiley for us today. TFTC
Had a quick look passing through but couldn't stay. Will have to find out what the hint means.
Have raised the difficulty level to a 3 as it seems to be a little difficult to find. The terrain is easy & there is no climbing required.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Checked today all good. If you take the tb please log correctly and keep it moving.
After many attempts, I have finally found this cache. It only took my partner a few moments to find it. That in itself was the most frustrating part.
Sorry about the late log, life has gotten in the way of cache logging, but not cache finding. TFTC

Attempted this cache, but a camping muggle nearby prevented me from having a proper search! Hopefully next time!

Checked this morning & it's still there waiting to be found. Please, if you take the tb log it correctly.
On our way to Emerald for a day of training. Totally different look now with mining everywhere. Glad to stop for a look and pickup but no such luck. Looked up clue and meaning still no luck. Had a torch out and did an internal. Sadly had to move on
More DNFs than finds today on a roughly 500km round trip from Blackwater to Moranbah. No good here.
Cheers

International Geocaching Day and I need to find a cache
out this way for work
and have been driving past this one for ages
so stopped in this morning for a quick look
but just like the previous cache at this site ... walked away with a DNF
not suggesting its not there - just that I couldn't find it [:o)]
it was at dawn, so I am going to blame the lack of light
next time ... maybe

Changed this one to a Found for me. Was actually quite easy. TFTC took nothing left nothing.
Checked today & all is fine & the tb is still there.
Due to some not being able to find this cache I've raised the difficulty level slightly but if you use your compass to get to the gz then read the hint, there's not much more I can say except have a good look. Good luck everyone.

No good. Spent 30 mins with 3 people looking in all obvious and not so obvious spots.
Requires CO maintenance.
