A nice sunny day so perfect weather to be out and about in the Adelaide Hills and of course picking up some geocaches along the way. Found without problems after consulting the hint. Thank you Henry, for placing One in Hole for the geocaching community.# # #15107 # #
A quick find, stamp my ancestors here this evening.and a very worthwhile D/T combination for my gridTFTC
Found it! Spend a while looking here. It wasnt until I just about gave up and started heading back that I decided to have a glance across and spotted a suspicious looking pile of sticks! TFTC!
Tftc! Left some things for the geokids! Thank you to the last log who mentioned the sticks and from this we found it!
This was a bugger!
I wandered around, looked up, wondered whether i needed to climb onto the fence and into a tree, I shook branches and got covered in pollen, and finally I sat and pondered a while.
I read a few logs, and it was probably 2-ystassies who's log helped the most. I didn't find the aligned sticks mentioned by OZGrumpy, but I left some there for the next finders. I also put some dry log sheets in a baggie in the cache. Accurate coordinates helped a lot. The name fits, and the hint fits, I just needed to check absolutely everywhere else first!

Log Book damp. Need to read important stuff like terrain and cache name to make my life easier
Found while caching with friends TFTC.

Thought for a few moments about how to tackle it. Gave it a go and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Nice quick find (recommend climbing up along the fence line and then going across as the pine needles are very slippery) on a caching day out with Tigtog08 and BearyOrganised. Tftc
Out and about on a glorious sunny May day with earthlight after attending an event, caching as we go. Afternoon air has become very chilly but still sunshine about.
This was one we found today. Only a handful of sheets from a note pad for log book. May need a new log book at some point soonish.

Today was my third attempt here. For some reason the gps wanders, very disconcerting. I got some advice that it was under a tree, so did a lot of gardening here today with no result. The area looks like chickens have scratched up a storm.
Desperate for success I decided to look in new places not searched and saw two sticks aligned and close. Boom. Success. Another stick or two added to help guide future finders.
Thanks for the cache. A smiley finally

Found! Needed a PAF to get this one as the hide was not obvious. Coords were quite accurate though.
A quick find here, cache is all good
Today I set out from the morning from uni after doing some testing and with nothing to really do all day I decided to spend it caching. With an event in black hill in the evening I focused my search early on around the unley area before going up into the hills and enjoying the back roads before walking up black hill and collecting a few more caches.
All up 43 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Out & About with clare007 after work collecting a couple of caches close to home...
This took longer than it should have but eventually located it...
Today the grass had been mowed so no trudging through long grass to GZ...

While hevwalker & I were out this was last time,
we'd managed to miss the oval...
As it came up again in conversation,
I remember that this was the one that we missed & didn't go back for...
We didn't think that it would be a difficult find.
It probably wouldn't of been, but the sat loc was a bit iffy.
And when found, it was hidden under the pine needles...
An interesting spot, pity it's been neglected only the birds enjoy it now.
Thanks for the cache Henry.

Thought maybe I wouldn’t find this after a bit of a search but then spotted something where I had first looked was nice to find this one after trudging through the wet grass makes the cold wet feet all the more

When we arrived at the site, we decided that one would take the high road and the other would take the low road. The team member on the low road saw the cache and the one on the high road retrieved it. Accurate coordinates and the hint helped to make the quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Henry for the cache.
Mr Tardis was in the area and went for a nice short walk. Fortunately I managed to spot the container in the corner of my eye, so it was a quick find.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Henry.

first finder of 2019. I came and looked where the co ords had me, nothing. I looked over there then over here, nothing. I then decided to look else where and found the cache. The hint makes sense just not what i was expecting, other wise it would have been a quicker find. At least gz was empty on a 37 degree day.
Tftc. The win is a howling but the rain hasn't arrived yet. Obviously a quite place now but the whole set up harks of glory days past.
Found It!
Interesting little spot and after a bit of wandering around I spotted the cache!

'Twas a lovely and cool day for a cruise through the hills today
After yesterday's heat,
the drizzle felt so refreshing as I strolled across the tennis court to find this cache
Head for the obvious spot first
Nup !! Doesn't even fit the clue !! [:o]
Wander over to where the GPS points ..
.. Yep !! There's a cache in there

Found easily with the spot on coords.

Once again we loved this hide. Fooled by the tank, the eaves and other distractions but eventually located and signed. TFTC
Caching day out with Purrfect Di.
Thought just like Astro and searched the hole in the tank after climbing up!
Great place for a magnetic cache, only it wasn't magnetic and wasn't there...
Looked around nearby. Bingo.

All quiet here today but the oval looks in great condition but not so much the tennis court, found the cache after a bit of a search, nicely hidden TFTC Henry
I missed the cache on the way up and I started playing in the tank hole. Epic fail. PAFFED and had the cache in no time. I think the terrain fooled me. [:o)]
Thanks to SoozEGreen and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
*Grabbing a cache or two to maintain my current streak*...
**Out and about with Tomboy**
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment SoozEGreen... Appreciate your efforts...

Found just on nightfall after a bit of a scramble up the slope and a fumbling search in the impending darkness. Thanks for the cache SoozEGreen!
Gee, it would be great to live near here now - your own (publicly maintained) private park .
Was tempted to drive right to GZ, but thought it was a bit blind coming back onto the road, so parked on the verge instead [:o)].
Raced up the steep bank to GZ .
TNLNSL.
Took the easy way down and back to our car .
Thanks Henry.

Easily located after a short scramble with Andy Colombia!!! Thanks for the hide!!
This was number 2 of 6 for today. Looked up and looked down till I saw where the obvious spot was. TNLN. Cheers.
Spotted an object that looked like it had a hole in it but it wasn't to be. I then looked at the GPSr and walked the few metres to GZ. TFTC SoozEGreen
Out with brisal5 grabbing a final couple of caches.... We made this harder than we needed too but a great spot for a hide.
Thanks
Thanks
A menagerie of cachers were to meet up for a few hours of hills caching. A starfish (brisal5) a ladybug (mogni) a rat (S.A. Sewer Rats) a snake (Blackadders) and an owl (Doctor Owl)
We managed to make this a helluva lot harder than it needed to be by going straight past it to a higher elevation first. You can't blame us really the GPS went a bit haywire under the canopy.
When we invoked Geo Golden Rule #2 - (when in doubt...spread out) we made the find.
Thanks SoozEGreen.

Owl was out with SA Sewer Rats, Blackadders, Mogni and Brisal5. And then it was reduced to just SA Sewer Rats and Blackadders. The team came armed with a ladder and description that matched a location at GZ perfectly. it was just that the cache wasn't there and the ladder ended up being completely unnecessary. Fortunately the Rat scurried around and located the cache anyway.

Out with Brisal, Mogni, A Rat and an Owl. We passed by this on our way back and this really had us scratching our heads. Extendable legs in hand (Climb Up) and reach under (Torch) for better views at a structure at GZ. Hmm nope, Maybe up the tree, nope. Has to be in there, that's what the hint says. Still nope. PAF hmm no answer. Something not right here, Log as a DNF. I wonder says the Rat, hmm bingo a cache. Thats a bit away from GZ, has it been moved? who knows. Sign and replace. Smiley earned. TFTC
Almost back to full strength so spent a few hours hunting some traditionals that have appeared in my 24K circle and this was one of them.

No guardians seen today. A fine cache in a pretty location. Do the bikes ever stop?

What a stunning day to be out and about [^] Brodie and I thoroughly enjoyed our day although he was absolutely dog tired [)] by the time we headed home.
First stop, the Finska champs 2016 event , a FTF cache find during the event thanks to muggle partner [:X] and then following the fun afternoon of wooden pin tossing some caching in the cooler Adelaide Hills on the roundabout way home
Even in the cooler hills the walk for a multi had Brodie panting so much that I wondered if he would actually make it back to Harry[?]
Thankfully he did [^]
1 awesomely great event attended and 5 cache finds for the afternoon made for a lovely day [^]
Brodie and I enjoyed the chance to amble through the hills in Harry at a pace that allowed me to sightsee
I'm not that slow when I'm on my motorbike on these roads, that's for sure and I'm too busy watching traffic and the road surface to sightsee so this was a treat [^]
The cache was a quick find and it was an indication of how tired Brodie was that he didn't follow me all the way to GZ [)]
Having seen crushed grass on the way in, I knew I wasn't the FTF however it was still nice to find the cache and enjoy the views in the hills and the cooler air than down on the plains
