This evening, I headed towards the north-eastern side of Adelaide's suburbs to Craigmore and Blakeview for a few target caches. There were some nice parks and reserves visited, including a rather modern fountain/lake area, and I enjoyed seeing some of the modern houses built in those areas. A nice evening out and about.

I managed to asked a previous finder where this cache was, as although I had done the puzzle properly, there were logs of moved coordinates and long searches. Then a string of DNFs occurred and this cache got archived, so I was still a little confident that this cache was still here. I came by this evening to try to have a hunt for it. It may well still be here, but the amount of growth in the garden meant I couldn't find the cache within the 10 min allotted to this search. Thanks anyway garmyn8r for the cache placement.

I had to go up this way early this morning, so I thought I'd grab a couple of caches on the way home before it got any hotter. This was the first on my list.

A good search at GZ revealed nothing. I am confident I calculated the correct coordinates, and the clue and previous logs seem to support the area I was looking. I did quite a big of digging but found nothing, I was glad there were very few people about while I searched in the early morning 30 degree plus heat. In the end I had to give up and headed off to another cache.

Nevertheless, thanks garmyn8r for the puzzle. I will watch with interest and hope that I can return sometime to make a find.

Thought we had this one nailed, but it was not to be Sad.
It appears we're in the right spot (using the updated description) - maybe we didn't dig deep enough [?].
No birds or fountain working here today [B)].
Thanks anyway Garmyn8r.

Northbound to Gawler to catch up with a couple of local cachers while I was doen from Brissy, I had some puzzles in the solved list that I wanted to grab.

Luckily, all nice and quiet here this Mother's Day morning so I was free to hunt. There were very few options for a hide at GZ so the cache was quickly in hand and my name was added to the log. All done and cache returned as found, I continued my journey North.

I used to live in the adjacent suburb many years ago, so it was nice to drop by and see the changes in the area.

Cheers garmyn8r.

I solved this one when it was first published and this is the first time since that I have been out this way so thought I would stop and find the cache. [^]
Lucky I had been speaking to a previous finder yesterday and she told me the cache has been moved so I needed to do a quick recalculation before I left home. Big Grin
Cache found right where my coordinates put me. [^]
Thanks for the cache garmyn8r. Smile

After being picked up By the snipey Doctor Owl.
For a day of caching, an event and laughs galore.
In the area today checking out caches, before the event.
A quick find for us today. TFTC

Mrs Snippy picked up Mrs Grumbly for a day of fun and caching. By the end of the day their equilibrium was restored by some converted boxes. This one looked elusive, as the coordinates (or their answers) were out by 15 metres, but the clue soon put them on the right track.

Worked out and found by The Boofs TFTC

Out for a morning cache with Csaba!. Had us baffled with the correct answers but did work it out. Went straight to the location this morning before the day at work begins. Cheers, very good mystery.

Morning cache with Power_of_six. Armed with 3 different coordinates it was certainly going to be interesting. Hint made it easier. Thanks

Today we were caching with Brisal5 to find a few caches prior to attending an event. What a lovely area this is, we can picture spending time here relaxing, the people who live nearby are very lucky. Brisal5 and myself were looking here and there while hubby did his usual, he had found the cache and I had not noticed. SL TFTC

Decided I would leave a bit early to get to an event later that night. Left 1.00 p.m. for an event start at 7.00 p.m. Surprised Mmmmm. What to do for a few hours. Perhaps grab a cache or two...or three...or ten! Cool
Nice cool cloudy day meant I could go for an extended stroll around and grab a few caches. And then I got a call from Muff1 who was also running early for the event. So we met up at the event well before start time and went and found a few caches whilst waiting for everyone else to arrive. Razz
This proved to be way harder than it should have. Read the clue boofhead. mr Muff had and conseqently had the cache in hand in no time. Smile Thanks garmyn8r. Big Grin

Being away and having missed nearly 2 months of local caching definitely hurt me here….
I was searching in a spot where many people had obviously been searching before but found nothing. A PAF with Freddo made things clear…. The cache had moved.
A verbal description of the new location lead me to a structure that proved to be too big (and without a cache of course), but a new set of coordinates did the trick.

I did not feed the birds. I did not have tuppence.

Luckily found in the first spot I looked. The area has certainly come along since the first time I came out this way.

Thanks to garmyn8r and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Another wonderful location for geocaching. A slight correction to my calculations, plus the great hint, led straight to the find. I was surprised that this attractive park was so quiet. Must give this one a favourite. Thanks.

Epic fail you pwned us n00bs... You are only as good as your next find. I have the solution for the original puzzle. The hedge has seen better days. We will return.

out on a northern caching run with 3lg. 3lg had the co ords for the old location but not the new. So Mrs 3lg got on the internet via the phone, while I was reading the questions out to her and Mr 3lg was recording the figures. So puzzle was resolved in the field and Mr 3lg made the find.

Armed with a new set of info and new coordinates,
dropped in after work when all was dark and quiet.
A cat sat by the water admiring the ducks.
A nice size cache was spotted shining in the torchlight,
and all was calm as I signed a fresh log book.
Thanks for fixing it and TFTC garmyn8r Big Grin

Cache has been replaced. Brand new cache, with lots of small toys, and plenty of room for more.
Please note change of final coordinates and change of cache description.

I hope it's not cachers destroying the hedge.
Sort of location you want a quick in and out to not draw attention
Still watching...

Yay, one I worked out easily & quickly and although only a short drive away, like Brad&Janet was in no hurry for FTF.
Twice over the past week I have been past yet unable to stop & look due to muggles using the area... even late evening at 10pm I had hoped the coast would be clear, obviously not in these parts. Wonder if the parents know where their teens are!?
Finally... third time in the area, this time buddied up with Nic, we began the search. Armed with knowledge from Mr TB I was fairly certain my co-ords were on the mark. Still 5 miutes later we couldn't find a cache. Messages back & forth, could I have the co-ords wrong? Spent easily a further 20 minutes checking every other possibility... still nada!
Frustrating is the cache that's not there and at the time there had been no other DNF logs so we continued to look. But alas now I see Mattycat had a DNF (noticed the crushed foliage also) Sad

Thanks for the hunt garmyn8r

Seemed to have a viable set of coordinates after stepping in time to the musical,
however no luck at all in finding the cache.
It's probably just sitting staring at me, but after a long day at work
my caching eyes were fuzzy and I went off to find others nearby! Razz
It did look a little like people had been searching through the bushes,
hope cachers aren't trampling them Twisted
Thanks for the challenge garmyn8r
will place on the watch list and return asap!

I was way down south with Moneydork and RideTheGeoWalrus on an unexpected Wednesday night caching trip when this cache was published.
After grabbing a nearby trad at 1am this morningSmile, I headed home to get some sleep as this was a puzzle and I was too tired to try and solve it on my phone [)] Once I got home I had a look and figured that I could maybe solve this puzzle... maybe because I'd seen a quite similar puzzle some years ago Wink So I did solve it.
When I woke up late this today this cache was still unfound however I couldn't go anywhere as the Corolla was buzzing around somewhere with a bee in it while muggle partner worked on the bees' car! Wink
Mr Bee got to my place and despite being late for a Dr's appointment, he agreed to come for a drive with me and so we headed off to GZSmile
One thing I have learned about garmyn8r's caches is that quite often they are not your average cache hide! TwistedCoolTwisted
Mr Bee and I started searching and eventually when the cache was found, we laughed at how much harder we had made the find Big GrinRed FaceBig Grin You really got us on that one! Smile
Cache found and a well stoked cache it is too [^] You really could create a whole new cache from the contents [^]
Woohoo! Cool Joint *FTF* at 12:45pm Smile with the travelinbees [^]
