A beautiful little community project made extra fun with a geocache! Thankyou for placing
What a delight this experience was!! I'm out for my daily caching fix while spending some time with my aged mother in Brisbane. Today's geo-excursion took me half an hour up the highway to Bribie Island, and after completing the island's ALs, I turned my attention to a couple of other caches that had caught my eye ... like this one. Arriving at the Labyrinth, I was a bit concerned when I saw 3 ladies at the epicentre of things, but I figured they probably knew why I was there. They did, and I had a lovely chat with them while I retrieved the cache and added my moniker to the log book. It seems they have a meditation session there on Fridays, but I think they had reached the post-meditation chit chat stage. Thanks for a memorable experience, Darwould. It gets a big fave point from me, as much for the chat with the locals as for the cache.
Found this cache while visiting Bribie for the day. A great concept that was a lot of fun to do.Took us a little time to find the numbers needed as there were leaves everywhere. Once we raked them out the way the rest was easy.Giving it a favorite point. TFTC
Having said goodbye to my eldest & sent her on her way back to London, I had a relaxing day planned visiting Bribie Island with my cousin.I needed a *Regular* cache to fill a gap on my calendar today so made this my first stop. We parked up as suggested before wandering over to the labyrinth. After a false start I realised what we were looking for in amongst the dead leaves & soon had all the requisite information. As we arrived at GZ we were met by two of the guardians who were enjoying the morning weather & were interested in my geocaching exploits to date. I soon gained entry to the treasure chest & then the cache, where I happily signed in. Unfortunately, there were no trackables present - I haven't seen any on my 17 day trip so far, apart from the ones I've dropped off. Found at 11:45Cache #10372TFTC Darwould
Headed over to Bribie Island to catch up with a friend. First headed out to Parkrun. Now its time to cache befor heading home.I found your cache, Lucky Labyrinth T.B. Hotel today. This is my 3050 find.List in the labyrinth for a bit then found what I needed to solve this cache.Darwould, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Find # 10861Looking at my stats I have a personal goal to meet before year end and its not an altogether small one. BUT when Im on a mission anything could happen. Christmas holidays and Im making the epic road trip from Canberra to Brisbane. Did a bit of research for some power trail options along the way and found a couple that would help boost my tally. This was one of them. Slight detour, but so long as I achieve my goal its all worth it Now just fingers crossed there arent too many DNFs or that put me off. Overnight planned in Tamworth which is about halfway and should be where I need to be by Christmas Eve.Quick easy find to start the labyrinth and complete the field puzzle at Lucky Labyrinth T.B. Hotel here today so I can be on my way.Dropped off TB Thanks so much for the many caches Darwould and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
Visiting Bribie Island for a bit. Always nice to collect some hides outside of the ACT. Great labyrinth + cache hybrid. A fave. No issues with the field puzzle, after we went through the labyrinth the wrong way, found the instructions, and then followed the correct direction. All good with the treasure chest and cache inside. Friendly cache-guardian lizard in residence too. Visitor logbook and cache logbook both signed. TNLN. Cheers Darwould. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to Traditional Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Me and my boys loved this cache! What a fun puzzle to solve. On a day spent visiting beautiful beach caches around the Island, this was an unexpected change up. Thanks for all the work setting it up! TFTC
A very enjoyable way to spend a bit of time.e this afternoon. Lured by the favourite points we were not disappointed by the quirky little puzzle. Took us a while to cotton onto the different stages of the puzzle requirements, but hanks to geodaughter we got there in the end. A favourite point from me.
Started fiddling with the code on the chest and a couple of minutes in went I wonder if this is a cache then went back to do the labyrinth again and find the code. So good! Thanks!
What a beautiful little spot. Had to put the rake to good use, but it was still an enjoyable adventure. TFTC!
Very well made and stocked cache happy to give a favourite point sad could only give one
Found at 9:43 AM GAFF1.A bit of a slow start trying to work out what we had to do as there was a lot of leaf litter covering the path. Eventually spotted the numbers, but we only had 3 after the first run, so back we go and this time with a broom that was supplied and we found that we had missed the very first one, which would have been fine with the 3 that we had to open the actual cache, but not to open the Labyrinth box A nice little game that was entertaining even for us oldies Thanks to Darwould
I loved the little labyrinth with it's crafty little pieces along the way. Thank you for bringing me to an amazing creative space. Didn't have anything to swap so took nothing but there is plenty to swap in the "treasure chest".
Nice cache.Dropped over here one night last month to see where it was, but did not know how much there is to look at here and services (caf, woodwork club, arts centre, and other stuff).Okay, made it back in daylight, did the activities to complete the cache collection of codes. All worked, and nice to see muggles and cachers able to access this puzzle. Many thanks for bringing me here.
4/9/23 amazing cache! thank you so much. myself my cousin and his friend are travelling around australia from melbourne and picked up a travel bug! we plan on taking it around on our travels and dropping him somewhere far!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
12665 located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1135. We at first didn't see the information board. When we looked for some more information it all became clear. Found some nice looking numbers that we thought may give us egress into a large box, and it did. We Took 1 TB and discovered a 2nd one which we left so the TB lounge was still in use. And visited our TB's. SL Tnx Darwould. A FP from us.
Such a peaceful place with a really cool hide. We had so much fun completing the labyrinth here, and solving the simple field puzzle.
So much creativeness. A fav from us.

Wowsers what an epic cache!!! Filled with lots of surprises. Put a smile on our dial! Thank you so much for this special space!!! Left trackables
Caching the day in Bribie Island with Peppa, BM75 and karicka. Everyone else had found this cache but Peppa was gracious enough and stopped for me to give this one a go.
We wandered the labyrinth a few times to locate the numbers and were happy to open the well stocked chests. Fun cache to find, thanks for making us stop Darwould

Once we were finally traversing the labyrinth in the right direction, we soon had the info we required.
Such a cool area here, we would love to participate in many of these clubs.

Wow, this one is pretty cool. On holidays without the kids and this has to be the fourth thing today I wished they were here with me. Sure a cool idea to add to an art piece. Yes I did have to go around twice because I saw the red herring instead of the real one but second times the charm.
Really enjoyed this one, it's nice to slow down and enjoy a cache from time to time.
A favourite for sure and if we holiday at sandstone again I'll bring the kids back.
Thanks again

Tftc Darwould, this is a nice place to visit. We were here very early but a few artists were arriving and we could look at the art on walls.
At the labyrinth we needed to backtrack as the lock would not budge. Found our error and then opened the chest that was full of treasure.
Favourite point ️

On a quick visit from Geelong to Tewantin to visit my Parents. They have just purchased a house over here on Bribie. I will be encouraging my mum to come over and do some craft here. I have also dropped a trackable that we picked up in Gippsland Victoria that wants to go to far north Qld. TFTC??
Complete overhaul of cache... new box, lock, and decals. Separate tub for log book and travel bugs. This cache has been going for seven years now... let's keep it going. Darwould.
Checked on cache today. Minor maintenance shortly. Grabbed two tbs Darwould and Plus Elle from Calgary, Alberta, Canada
An interesting and fun filled puzzle. Enjoyed the whole thing. sadly the cache has seen better days. TFTC
What a fun little field puzzle that was. We missed one number on our first run so the lock wouldn’t open so we had to go through the labyrinth once more and discovered the one that we missed. With the correct numbers I soon had the chest open but the cache container was a little more challenging. Thankfully we managed to gain access after a short time. An impressive amount of swag in the cache and we made sure to sign both the logbook and the labyrinth visitors book before leaving. The perfect spot to sit and enjoy our surrounds on this hot day. Thanks Darwould
Years ago we tried to open this treasure case, but couldn't. Today we thought we give it another go.
We made the walk through the Labyrinth once more, got the numbers and opened the outer box.
We signed the visitor book and then the logbook. A fav point.
I took the TB.

Darwould I found your cache Lucky Labyrinth T.B. Hotel on 1/2/2023, 3:50 pm. This is my find 4711 and find # 12 today. Did the walk around the labyrinth and gathered the required information. Found the treasure chest, opened and signed the log book. A lovely little spot. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found with TeamBarritts during our road trip east to Brisbane. Spending the day caching on Bribie Island. Tftc!!
Out for another day of caching with BJA3 before heading home to Perth.
All good here, thanks for placing and maintaining this hide for us and others to enjoy!

This cache has held my interest for a long time but I’ve never found myself in the main part of bribie when I’ve visited the island until today. Unfortunately almost all of the places in the arts centre were closed but we were able to visit the gem club, which is of particular interest. The staff were very helpful and informative and it was an added bonus to our trip here. Fun idea for a cache too! I had to check back in the hint/description when it came to the second padlock but quickly realised how to access the container. TFTC in this spot and bringing our awareness to the facility. We’ll have to come back again when it’s open.
Just under 5 years ago I was here and got into the chest but was not able to open the second one. So I did not record a DNF as I found it but was not able to open it.
Came back today, worked out the combination for the outer. Tried to open the second realised what I was suppose to do so I opened the cache, signed the log and closed it up again. Signed the visitors book as well.
Seeing as it is a return visit and the effort put in I am giving it a heart. Thanks for maintaining this one.

We arrived just as the Friday morning meditation ladies did. We walked the leafy labyrinth but come up empty handed. We had a chat to the ladies with a response “Would you like the code? or Would you like to follow me on a journey to find the code?’
We took the latter and were rewarded with the code. Unfortunately the ladies, Sandy and I couldn’t get the cache open. Still we had a lot of fun trying.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights.

The second lock is broken, but there is another way into the cache box to sign the log. Use it. A new lock will be installed in due course, meanwhile the instructions in the text have been updated. Thanks. Darwould.
The code for the cache is not working. Also references to blue and yellow lock are confusing (there is no blue lock) especially as the code for the chest has now changed. The note telling you the old code in the chest was not easy to find. All a bit confusing and disappointing that someone has changed the cache code. We managed to get in my other means (all left intact) but the cache needs maintenance.
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Fantastic cache loved doing this cache Thanks for the cache
Great puzzle but the final combo lock didn’t want to play nice and open for me, finally got it open just using random numbers.

time to move on to the Caboolture area where we have solved puzzles and there are a number of Adventure Labs and plenty of trads to find.
The weather is improving further although there seems to be plenty more muggles about.
A good variety of hides and some interesting places to visit.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Darwould.

Wow! That was an awesome experience! Beautifully set out and so creative! A favourite for me! Thanks for bringing me to this spot and the cache placement.
Found first go, very easy after reading the labyrinth rules, such a beautiful maze
A long weekend on Bribie Island and Greatjustgreat and I had a few hours this afternoon to find a couple of caches. This was the first one attempted this afternoon. Parked in the car park and wandered down and spotted the well signed Labyrinth. We read the instructions at the start and memorised what we needed to as we found our way to the treasure chest. The outside lock was opened quickly.
Once we had gained access to the chest, we quickly found the inner box with the second padlock.
The listed method did not work for us, so whilst Greatjustgreat fiddled, I kept searching through the treasure chest.
I found the yellow piece of paper that I had read about in other logs. This sheet clarifies some details needed to open the second padlock. I have placed in the front inner cover of the visitors folder inside the chest. You can’t miss it.
Log book was signed and off to tick off a few more caches.
Thanks very much for the cache Darwould. We had fun. Cheers

The code on this does not match the hints, we just tried random things to crack it lol
At Bribie for the weekend with my niece. We loved this little puzzle and she loved the adventure
We followed the path and collected the numbers to open the outer box. I then struggled with the inner box but CaptainVimes was on it. Left two trackables. Thanks for the cache
Banjo Lilywhite
A huge, bald man with thirteen fingers, brother to Medium Dave. Used as the muscle in Medium Dave's operations.
Physically thirty-five years old, mentally and at heart he was five years old. Though capable of fearful violence, he drank milk when others drank beer, was happy to find a lollipop tree and a swing, and wanted to have a puppy called Spot. He lived in a simply furnished room in the YMPA (Young Men's Pagan Association). He still maintained belief in the Hogfather and other childhood fantasies. Led by Jonathan Teatime, he journeyed to the Tooth Fairy's Tower in an attempt to assassinate the Hogfather. He was the only one of Teatime’s assistants who was not afraid of him.
In the end, he replaced the late Tooth Fairy and took up residence in her tower. Presumably he is still there.
His aliases include:
Reginald Lilywhite (true name)
Park Lane Prowler
Goose Gate Grabber

My final cache of the day… I must be tired, it took a couple of try’s to get the first combo and then even more on the second before the Penny finally dropped…
But having now read some previous logs, it appears I’m not alone…

TFTC. This was a little tricky, the first code was easy, but after wasting 10 min on the wrong code for the second lock, reread the attached notice and it all fell into place. ️
What a great geocache! I rode in just before 7AM on Australia Day, and already the gemmies were busy in the nearby shed. I completed the labyrinth as requested, but missed a number... Urgh... I am good at making easy things hard! Back to get the missing digit. Ok, enter that into the lock and hey presto! Signed the visitor's book, then began to unlock lock #2. I, like others, used the logic on the current numbers, and when that didn't work decided I should read the big dangly note hanging on the container that actually told me what to do! With that sorted, the lock was unlocked with ease! Shame there's a hole in the bottom of the container when others couldn't use the instructions. Anyhoo, I signed the log book. No TBs inside at the moment. Thanks for the great cache Darwould & something different. Fave point from me.
Swearah and I had a little bit of a false start here but once we backtracked and read the instructions properly we were soon on the right track. The second step took a minute or two and we face palmed a bit when we got the answer. God I swear we are such losers sometimes. Finally we had our names on the log. What a great spot, TFTC!
This was so cool. What a great spot!
Krcamber and I had no trouble with the first lock, but we took little longer with the second lock. Turns out all we needed to do was read the sign attached to the cache to provide enlightenment and gain access to the log.
Thanks for a lovely cache, Darwould

Tftc. Found with Deano25. Pin code for lock DOES NOT fit in with the instructions. 1 number is infact included in the labyrinth. Not sure if this is intentional or the cache owner was mistaken with the code.
As everyone else has said, second lock combination doesn't work. Log book obtained and signed by alternative means.

First cache of the year,
Nice labyrinth trail unwind,
Thanks for all the locks,
Cache was good to find,
Either combo or the lock,
For the cache does not seem right,
A crack beneath,
The log book seized,
In order just to sign.

We took a drive to locate this puzzle cache and enjoyed the walk around the labyrinth to gather the required information. The first lock was quickly opened however as previous finders have indicated the second lock would not budge. We decided to try a more creative approach and the log book was signed. It may be worth the CO checking the combination for the second lock. TFTC
We are doing a cache run this morning and this is one we found. What a beautiful place this cache has shown us! We did the walk and collected what was needed to open the chest and signed the visitors book. The cache lock opened quite quickly for us with the code and as we were signing the log a lady rode up on her bicycle. It was nice to meet the CO’s sister and have a chat. All replaced as found and a favourite for this one. Thanks Darwould for the adventure.
Managed to open the second lock. Do not align the numbers with the line - align them on the narrow side of the lock. I have taken a photo and lined the numbers as 111 to not give anything away.

Adventure with my friend day! We decided to get out adventuring as we only had one kid today and an un-used baby carrier. We started our day off with walking up the steep 700m hill to wild horse mountain lookout. Surreal views for sure! We then had to make our way down to Redcliffe to visit family so we decided to stop at Bribie on the way. This geocache has been on my list for quite a while and this would be baby A’s first geocache find. I loved this place and the cute labyrinth. I could spend soo much time at this beautiful place. Finding what was needed was a breeze but when it got to the second lock that’s where we encountered some trouble. We were sure we had the right combination but a quick read through previous logs showed we weren’t the only ones. Nonetheless, the logbook was signed and a favourite point rewarded!

Today I had the pleasure to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and later on Willis007 for a day of caching. Our initial target for the day was the land based Bird caches while also grabbing several other caches on our travels. We then moved on to Bribie Island to attend an event to have a brief break from caching duties and mingle amongst fellow cachers, luckily we dressed for the weather because that bitterly cold wind would rip straight through you, brrr!
After the event we decided to stay put on Bribie Island to grab the remaining caches that we missed on our last visit, I think we’ll need a 4x4 for the remaining ones however.
Thank you for showing us around these wonderful locations, we had an absolute blast.
Apologies for the generic log.

An event on Bribie Island today so an excuse for 4 of us to get together and make a day of it. Lots of fun and some caches ticked off with Willis007, Chamad and Nayfee.
I was grateful to have the chance to turn this frown upside down as last time the kids and I couldn't even open the first lock. Today, that was easily achieved and our numbers were perfect for the 2nd lock but we just couldn't get it to budge. Thanks to a small hand and some ninja skills, we were still able to sign the log.
