The old town of Nowhere had always been a mystery to travelers passing through. Nestled between rolling hills and dense forests, it was a place few ever ventured intentionally. But for one geocacher, the town held a special allure. They were known only as Nowhere Man.Nowhere Man had heard whispers of a legendary geocache hidden deep within the town, a cache that had eluded even the most experienced adventurers. It was said to contain treasures from an era long past, and the coordinates were hidden in plain sight within the towns forgotten corners. One crisp autumn morning, Nowhere Man arrived in Nowhere. With a worn map in hand and a GPS device clipped to their belt, they began their search. The first clue led them to the old train station, abandoned and overgrown with ivy. There, hidden under a loose brick in the station's wall, was a small, rusted key.The next clue directed them to the town's only bookstore, a quaint shop filled with dust-covered volumes. In a book of local folklore, Nowhere Man found a slip of paper with a riddle: "Where shadows grow long and whispers are heard, beneath the tallest oak, lies the third."Following the riddle, they ventured to the town square, where an ancient oak tree stood tall and proud. Digging carefully at its base, Nowhere Man uncovered a weathered box. Inside was a small figurine of a man, along with a new set of coordinates and a note: "You are closer than you think."The final coordinates led them to the outskirts of town, to an old, crumbling church. The doors creaked as Nowhere Man pushed them open, revealing a dark and dusty interior. In the back, beneath a broken pew, was a metal tin. Inside was the legendary geocache: a collection of artifacts from Nowheres past, including old coins, a locket, and a journal detailing the towns history. But the true treasure for Nowhere Man was a letter addressed to them personally: "To the one who found this, you have unraveled the mystery of Nowhere and discovered its hidden heart. May your journey be as timeless as the treasures youve found."With a smile, Nowhere Man signed the logbook and carefully placed everything back in its place, leaving behind a token of their own: a compass, to guide future adventurers on their journey to uncover the secrets of Nowhere.Come visit SA's longest running annual event -keep the Long weekend free- June 2025 Can't wait!!2562

Away for a couple of days with TheWhiteDogGang.
We stayed at the free camping in Blyth and cached around Blyth, Brinkworth, Yacka, Spalding, Clare, Stanley Flat and surrounds.
Most caches found were in good order.
We took the sidetrack and then didn't find a cache. How could it go missing out here. We replaced it.

Staying at the Beautiful Hummocks station at Snowtown (highly recommend it) we ducked out to find a few caches nearby again today. Loved all the history shared today with us by using Geocaching as our guide.
There is a new fence at GZ and there was only part of a cache. We have put a temporary replacement with a rock over it.

We discussed what we were doing here. Caching of course. This one was a little damp and had been collecting water. I could not empty it out as the container was stuck fast! Hope it dries out. However we all know there is more money in mud than dust.
Thanks to Tk2 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Wow, this really is nowhere man!
The road is in my GPSr, however just as a track.
Can see the vastness from here, with no trees blocking views from road!
TNLNSL
Thanks

Commented that this would be a great road for moving stock or driving machinery - wide and flat - but only when it's dry

Found on a trip north with Anymules, eventually found as the natural surrounds had covered the hidden cache, two layers of cammo almost had us fooled, certainly felt like nowhere today

Found something that looked like the right spot. But there was just dirt. After looking a bit wider, returned to the original spot where it had to be. After a bit of a better search, the container was found.
Thanks for the cache Tk2.

We made this trip up north to pick up some of the caches we keep driving past as we head to/from the outback .
Well, it sure is flat out here !
Not many places this could be and we found the cache in the first place we looked. TNLNSL.
Watch out for the cache guardians .
Thanks for one more Tk2.

Second to find. It is going to take some time to fill that log book at this rate. Loved the location. It would be even better with a couple of inches of rain. Vroomm.
There's a frog in there, Red or Green, oh no thats right they don't do Green ones any more.
