Sorry for the late log I thought I had logged this one on the tram back to the city.
It was a quick but fun event and the beer did the trick before heading back to our city night out.
Our thanks to Pitfeder and Bebbigirl for hosting the event I hope you had a great time whilst visiting.

Made it to the event after work. I was the 1st one there. Went to the bathroom and when I came out the hosts had set up and were unpacking the 86 TBs they had collected. So I started off with a very large and extremely expensive beer before collecting the TBs I thought I could handle.
Other cachers arrived and the social side kicked in.
LouiseAnn, gwd.aussie and I left to go have dinner around the corner and I discovered that my red handbag had been stuffed with heaps of other TBs which I hadn't chosen. That's a bit rude isn't it? Have grabbed all the ones I have in my possession and have since passed some of them on to another caching team.
Nice to meet the cachers from Basel.

Find #2936. Attended @ 18:00 until 18:30 with skirrel, j-bean and The Good Lady Wife.

I was contacted a while back by the EOs saying that they'd collected one of my traveling trackables and were bringing her home. After that, how could I not come to this event and greet my returning dragon? Welcome home "Viscountess Thornfang Petalforth of Ankh-Morpork" [TB3WWN8], and thanks for helping her achieve her mission Bebbigirl & Pitfeder.

We arrived a bit before the scheduled time to find that there were already cachers here, and a table choc full of trackables to discover (and grab). I got a round of drinks for my lot, and while they were hydrating, I did a bit of socializing with some familiar faces and more showing up as the event progressed. Pitfeder presented me with Petal and took a picture of the joyful reunion (maybe it'll make it to the event page).

All too soon, it was time for us to leave, the kids needed some dinner (the adults as well) and some of us had school the next day.

Great to meet you Bebbigirl & Pitfeder. I hope you both enjoy the Australian caching and drive to Brisbane.

Took some trackables, left some trackables, signed log, and visited yet more trackables.

As it has been years since I was a regular addicted cacher there are now lots of caches between work and home, so before leaving I checked the map for a likely target and noted an event.

Ooh, it's on now!

Even snagged a park right out the front.

Was great to reconnect with a few of the community and meet some others I had not met before, as well, of course, or hosts.

I feel that I may be reaquiring a problem my long suffering wife had thought I had lost.

Thanks to all for the catch-up and the fun.

Was a great evening albeit a short one for me as I had an appointment to attend. Many thanks for the event and enjoy your trip in Aus!

A few TBs dropped off and a few TBs picked up!

Mary & David were there, as we love Events. Our TomTom underestimated the traffic delays, so we were a little late. So nice to meet such a friendly couple with so many trackables. We were able to take 4 with us. Mary enjoyed a craft beer while we chatted to new friends and old friends. We wish you both a wonderful trip to Brisbane. Retrieved "In honor of Capt. Raymond D. Hill II" geocoin, "Dor Sachse" TB, "Aussie GPS Geocoin" and "Schweden Elch" TB. Our thanks to Pitfeder & Bebbigirl; it was lovely to meet you.
