While down in Rotorua it was great to finally solve this interesting puzzle. I had been slowly butting it together. so managed to pick up the final yahoo. nice walk about in such an interesting area.
Solved a while ago. Popped by after the craft market today to pick up a TB and drop 2. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle. I enjoyed solving it.
Sat in the UK and worked this one out. Isla helped by bringing me a ball to throw for her. A short search at GZ and a TB dropped. TFTC
The riddle was solved at home and I could find the can with the hint well.
Thanks for this cache

Stayed the night in Rotorua. Out on an early morning walk to collect a few mysteries that we solved a long time ago. No muggles around. Cache all fine. TFTC
We had to make a trip to Rotorua today to pickup an item, so took the opportunity to find a few solved puzzle caches before heading home.
Mrs nzk had solved this approx 3years ago so was pleased to make the find today. Two possible options were narrowed down with help from google maps. A quick find thanks to the hint, cache in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle and cache GenCuster!

Had to come back and grab this one today as when I was down here finding others a couple of days ago some muggles were drinking beer right at GZ! Friendly enough but definitely not wanting to stop and search at that time. Was a relief no one was about today and soon had the log in hand and was signing. Fun puzzle. TFTC
I'm down for the weekend with the crew to look after my Grandson while his parents go whitewater rafting. I'd seen this little puzzle series and solved them at home ready to collect them some time this weekend. An interesting gz and a quick find here, thanks
Day 6
Staying overnight at Rotorua motel before heading to Hamilton. Today is Sunday that I want to be lazy but have to do some caches to catch up. Travelling on both islands for 22 days. Beautiful area. Found it. Thanks GenCuster for placing this cache

Greetings from Melbourne, Australia
While walking around we decided to take this path and grab this cache. At first I looked at the wrong side, but when I turned I knew where to look. Thanks.
I'm on a road trip with my lad to meet up with old friends in one of my favourite places in New Zealand, Rotorua. I come as often as I can but not often enough these days, so this has been my first chance to visit the Bay of Plenty as a Geocacher. In anticipation of this weekend, I spent a few nights earlier in the week solving a few of the local Puzzle Caches, including this one, in the hope that I would find time to look for them.
This Puzzle was one of the more frustrating, if only because it has a flaw or two in it which makes finding the East co-ords a matter of trial and error rather than straightforward logic, but persistence paid off in the end. I suspect that the Certitude log count reflects the puzzle flaw rather than the true difficulty level.
As one of our party was visiting NZ for her first time, we figured that a quick outing to the Gondolas and Luge, followed by a visit to the Agrodome was in order so she could see a few very distinctive activities before we were to make our way back into town for a stroll around Kuirau Park. Then it was on to the Government Gardens and along to the Polynesian Pools, where I left them to do their own thing for half an hour whilst I took a walk to investigate a few caches along this walkway, including this solved Puzzle.
It was actually a nice stroll to get to the calculated co-ords. There were very few people around so I was able to take my time exploring the area and take my photos without much bother, as well as searching for caches. This was a reasonably quick find, thanks to the helpful Hint. Apart from being a bit dirty on the outside, and a little damp inside, there was nothing wrong with the cache so I signed the log and replaced it all exactly as found.
Thank you for puzzle, and for setting up this cache and bringing me to a spot I hadn't visited before.

In Rotorua for Easter with Jag50 with the aim to put a smiley face on as many caches as we can. Mrs Jag quickly found this cache, I enjoyed solving these puzzles
In Rotorua with Merlot58 for the break Easter. After lunch at our nearby accommodation we headed off to explore the area. Quick find with the hint.
After solving a couple of new mystery caches I decided to see if I could crack another one. And I had success on this one. So today I came over to get another smilie on a blue spot. Cache was an easy find. Tftc
had solved this ages ago and today I had the time to finally make the find, I thought I had logged this at the time but I had only saved it, thanks for bringing me here, it had been raining but glad it was all over by the time we made the find.
16/01/19 Certitude: 1. hint changed and 2. includes a spoiler photo as the track and environment has changed. Cache otherwise good and shifted about a metre from where it had migrated into the bushes. Thanks for finding my caches...
On our 33rd day in New Zealand we stayed in Rotorua. Today we wanted to stay around town, have a look at it, go to the spa and get some of the solved puzzle caches or challenges.
Also here the puzzle was solved back home. From the previous one we were warned that it would not be easy and this was right again. Funny place to search! Ok, we have to and on top of that we didn't really understand the hint. So we read previous logs and started the search again. Soon after we could spot the box and "only" had to get it out. Tried to leave the box again at the same location as good as it was possible.
TFTC, greetings from Switzerland and Happy New Year

TFTC

Just solved for the coords. Will be in Rotorua in Feb. visiting from Canada. Looking forward to finding it then and log a find. Thanks for the puzzle.
On a lil mish from Tauranga today with PP to clear some of the Rotorua spots. A bit overcast and showery, still it’s only water. I am logging these with a generic template on Cachly. Many Thanks to all cache owners for the placements. Solved these a while ago and great to finally get over to the GZs cheers.
Solved a few puzzles before leaving home in Aus so made an early morning run to find a few. We had tried a couple of days ago to find this one without luck. Read the previous which gave us an idea where to concentrate our search.
Enjoyable solve. Found in a rainy morning. All good at GZ.
Thanks for another smilie

Today we're heading down to Rotorua to support my son's Tai Mitchell Rugby Team as they've made it into the semi finals and I've found some time to geocache afterwards
I really enjoyed this puzzle where it did take me a little while to put it together.... correctly. Eventually I got the tick though and here I am at GZ praying the recent earthworks in the area hasn't buried the cache. It was close but I soon spotted the cache a little deeper into the foliage then I could reach. Got there in the end though - Cheers GenCuster TFTC

In Rotorua for the Div II Swimming Championships with one of the Jr. Cachers and a great opportunity to grab some caches. Had quite a few minutes to spare before the race this morning and so decided to get some more finds. Headed over to this area to find several nearby caches and this was one of them. Another puzzle solved before we came without any problems and all quiet today at the final so a quick find. Thanks for another puzzle GenCuster.
We left home Friday night headed to Wanganui to visit our daughter then Saturday morning headed to wards Rotorua and grabbing a cache or two along the way. Today we got up early and decided on the route we were going to take starting at 8.05am, no sleep in for me today. Found the cache signed the log and placed it back exactly where we found it. such a nice area to visit thank you for placing a cache here made us visit the area and enjoy the sits and the stunning scenory. TFTPC now onto find the next cache we have found 46 caches today a total of 66 for the trip or grand total now is 4768 good puzzle
Easy puzzle with an easy find, thanks. Just took us sometime to find time to wander out here and grab it!! TFTC
Right. So it's about time we took the time to stop and grab the last of that mini-series of puzzle caches. Short walk, easy find, hot day! Cache a bit damp inside but write in the rain paper working fine. Straightforward puzzle, straightforward cache. Like that, because there's nothing worse than getting frustrated while practicing a hobby!
Argh. Too much sitting around doing the family thing. Not enough exercise. So I and my niece and nephew put our bikes on and disappeared into the real world. First the woods, then the surreal otherworldliness of Sulphur Point.
After not finding the last cache, I wondered what we would (or more correctly, would not) find here. But the kids found the cache fine, without the hint (is there a hint?)
Merry Christmas and a cachey New Year from the Seagnoid!

I think I'm going batty. Mixed up the hints on these mystery caches. Got there though. Really liking your puzzles!
Haha michaelteacher mixed up the clues on our solved puzzles spreadsheet. We found this alright, just was a bit confused at the hint until we realised where the confusion came from. Tftc
Fun puzzle. It is more of a Lazy Friday for me rather than a Lazy Sunday, before competing in a half ironman at the Blue Lake on Saturday.
Quick find at GZ, using the hint.
Thanks.

This mystery solved at home before the trip to the New Zealand. Then we could not imagine how interesting the hiding place will be (cannot tell without spoiling…). The cache was found easily due good hint. Thank you for the mystery cache and greetings from Finland.
We love doing this type of puzzle, though this one seemed a little trickier than some. Got some good coords after a while. We arrived in Rotorua late this afternoon, after spending the night in the Waikato. We parked up and made our way to GZ where we were pleased to make a quick find. Thanks for the fun!
Easy find from the hint. My pen refused to mark the camp waterproof paper so I left a little slip with my signature in the cache.
Solved this series several weeks ago; had quite a few little bits of paper on the floor after this one. I looked in several places before spotting it but as I went for the grab realised someone was behind me and had to retreat. Waited a minute but they stopped to look at the views so I moved on to others first.
When I arrived back I found a young tourist setting up camera on track about 20 metres away; she then proceeded to start dancing around in front of it so this time I grabbed it with her totally unaware that I was there. With cache signed around the corner I went back and she was doing it again so cache is back without her knowing a few metres away there was this stranger poking around on the track. TFTC.

I like that song ,I think it's from the " Small faces " lazy Sunday afternoon got no time to worry close my eyes and drift away....what a cool theme Gen C Found it ....in good condition, first time along this track for me ...
As the song says close your eyes and drift away ...it was a tad steamy and smelly but an interesting area...I never realized how Barron and moon like creator it is along here ...thanks Gen C for bringing me along this walk it's great

I tried to solve this cache puzzle in the field, sitting on the edge of the boardwalk, but could not get the tick. Came home and forgot about it. Had another look and still could not get the tick - what was I doing wrong??? Third time lucky. All good here. Thanks GenCuster for a great puzzle cache.
Solved during a cyclone but great weather for the pick up today. Took TB. #798. TFTC.
Another cool puzzle to match the little cooler temperature in Rotorua this morning. I enjoyed a day off today and had beautiful weather to pick up some puzzle caches in Vegas. Always enjoy the walk in this area TFTPC
Had solved this little series of 3 on publication and was very happy to have a wander along with Pagenz finding the actual caches. Love these type of puzzles. TFTC
It was raining super hard today, rain jackets were required. I had previously solved this cache but solved the other two at home this morning on our lazy sunday. We first suited up then left the car, and headed off. At first we were looking on the wrong end but once sorted it was a quick find, cache in good condition! Dropped a TB and took a TB. TFTC
We already passed this cache yesterday but since we were soaking wet we agreed on finding it next day. Said and done after a more sunny day we picked up the cache today.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot!
I joined HKCB and Kiwi69 on a road trip from the Tron to Rotorua, primarily to attend a local event but to also spend a couple of hours geocaching before heading home. We managed to get away just after 5 and I was tucked up in bed by midnight. Unfortunately for us it bucketed down most of the time and we got absolutely saturated, it didn’t dampen our spirits however (ok maybe that’s not entirely true) and we had a fun time exploring the area. Thanks to all the CO’s for the well-maintained and interesting hides.
This was a popular spot today with a number of Hamilton locals names on the log. We grabbed the TB's and HKCB dropped off some of his own.

Down from Hamilton to attend the nearby event with HKCB and Iammrwalker. We wanted to find a few local caches before heading home after the event despite it being dark & very VERY wet. At least we could be confident we were unlikely to get muggled!
We didn't meet previous finders here so were surprised to see how many Hamiltonians had signed the log in the slashing rain tonight! thanks for the puzzle & hide

Came down from Hamilton to attend the nearby event with Kiwis69, and Iammrwalker. A decided to spend a few more hours down this way finding a few caches before heading home after the event.
Took a bit of fiddling about to get this puzzle to line up, but no real troubles with it. A small search needed to find the cache, and like the last puzzle, I had left my phone in the car due to all the rain coming from above so had no hint for this find. Swapped a couple of TB's before replacing back. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.

Over to collect some caches. Weather not the best but these were on my list. Nice quick find and room for the TBS I had.
Found on our day's outing from Tauranga ... took the Penelope Pig TB, thanks for the puzzle and the cache GenCuster.

#8738. We were staying in Taupo and for a lazy Sunday, we thought we might swap Lake Rotorua for Lake Taupo for the afternoon to do some unscrambling. Other walkers and bikers were on the track today, but GZ itself was pretty quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside.

Took nothing, signed log.

Another one we solved the other day, after a few false starts. Mrs S had seen something similar a week or so ago but Mr S used his own method to figure out the correct co-ordinates.
We decided today was the day to go and find the cache but when we arrived there was tape across the area and a sign saying "Danger. Keep Out". Oh dear. What to do. Lets ignore that and try a different approach. Found another way, found the cache, signed, replaced and left. At least there were no muggles around to get in the way.
Thanks GenCuster for another grey cell workout.

Heading home on a lazy Sunday...
I haven't spent a lot of time looking at local caches lately. The end of the school year is always hectic. After camps and report writing, there's never enough time in the day... I managed to solve this one using my own unique strategy. A whiteboard marker works well when paired with a computer screen... Word puzzles are a favourite, and I've solved a few using this structure. I stored the coordinates into the iPhone gps and waited for an opportunity to pass ground zone.
It was quiet here today. I was surprised at how quickly this was spotted. It was not 'under' as there seems to be no 'under' here. I quickly did the business and returned the hide as it was found. TFTP and TFTC.

Tied to solve last week on the fly but with too many distractions it just wasn't happening, solved during the week and grabbed today while in the area
Solved this the other day came to collect yesterday but the track was closed for maintenance noticed it open again this afternoon. ApacheD and I made the find this afternoon and were meet at GZ by the CO who has been scoping out more areas to hide caches. Good to catch up Gen Custer and thanks for the puzzles and hides.
Woohoo! Sorry fluffy beard! Georunnermatt and I solved this together and dashed out for a quick find. Tftc GenCuster! We liked the unscrambling, bits of paper all over the floor now
Solved this lazy Sunday afternoon, and then headed out to find with livee_nz, hoping to get a first to find. Livee found it first, so she is the official FTF. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache!
The second to last card is 'ROcomma' (not 'ROfullstop').
Yes, I have solved this myself, blindly, by printing the picture and using a pen as a TOTT. There are spaces between words and numbers. There is a dash between all digits except 38 and 176. They're kinda obvious... The rest is patience and logic.
The puzzle solves with only two 'options'. This is the digit (2 cards) immediately after each 'point'. They can be interchanged, but hey, Certitude will specify which one is correct! Have fun.
And thanks for playing
Cheers, GC.

Awesome, obviously a bit slow on getting out here as we weren't FTF, but we enjoyed the solve and the find anyway. Added a few toys. Tftc.
Well that was a Lazy Sunday afternoon what a difference a , can make I thought it was a . Anyway it was Child's Play once I got the , sorted.
Will add to my list.
Will add to my list.
No lazy Sundays in the Davidson Clan we are running around Kuirau park chasing the kids as they do the Weetbix Tryathlon.
Yay, first to solve! I guess the old cut and paste method worked! Had a few options and a couple of misses before we hit gold. Hopefully will try to find it later today.
