What a view! Have been meaning to come this way for a long time as it is a special place for friends of ours but a sunny day and a swimming session in cannons Creek Pool provided the perfect opportunity. What a great view and a crafty hide!
Well wouldn't you know it. It was exactly as described. Lovely view tonight
Found this one right at the end of my massive long hike. Lovely place to sit, cache all good. TFTC!
Once I figured out where I was going I made a nice quick find here thanks to your hint. Love the birdsong in this place. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its place all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Found out on a pleasant afternoon in a completely new reserve, for me at any rate. It took me some time to find this cache, spotted eventually after checking everything else at GZ. All good, tftc!
The sunny day after snow and perfect for a stroll through the park. Easy find as geohound found some sniffs. Tftc!
Found on a beautiful peaceful day with no one around. Excellent hide! Took me a little longer than it should have. TFTC
Cool spot and excellent cache! Thanks for introducing me and for the effort made
Around and around the access spiral to the seat, then around and around the seat looking for the crafty cache! Cheers t96!
Another cache nicely tucked away. Typical Trancer96! Nice to get a view of the lie of the land TFTC.
Was out here earlier in the year but a return trip seen us nab this cache. Logging late as I have log catchup to do, oops!
Out with sveppi for a Sunday suburban tramping trip. Left Aotea around 11am and had lunch at this location. When to check out the progress on the new road at the end of the track, and came back home. A nice leisurely 5h walk, collecting 3 geocaches along the way.
We were here in late March last year but did not geocache. The cache was easily found, signed and returned. TFTC

Loved this! Work on power lines above Takapu Rd meant a change in plans for me today. Haven’t been in this area for ages. Fabulous new plantings and tracks. Lots of mahi - bringing back the birdsong
Thanks for a clever hide too!

I spotted a cat (feral?) and a rabbit on my way up to this cache and apart from birds, these were the only living things I saw on my walk in the park this afternoon, I liked the clever concealment of this cache. TFTC
This is a good spot for a cache but I didn't linger due to a steady rain. I quickly spotted the clever hide. Thanks for the cache.
now that I'm a premium member I am able to award favourite points, so I'm awarding some to the more memorable and enjoyable caches that I've found, added a favourite point for this one for the nice hide
Just passing by while doing maintenance on other caches. All good here including being hidden as intended.
#6527. I have been meaning to check out the tracks in this reserve for ages. Especially as I wanted to finally locate D8, a cache I got close to from above a few years back but ran out of time to visit. The trails in here are quite complex and not all of them showed up on my GPS map. What a cool wetland on the way up to this cache. Carried on up the path and resisting the strong temptation to shortcut through the shrubs I meandered my way via the track to the GZ. Yes an unusual seat. Looked closely all around and finally spied the odd man out. Nicely hidden cache. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks trancer96 for the cache. Favourite for the clever hide and nicely presented cache pages.
One of six caches found on our Cannons Creek walk today. Reasonably quick find. Nifty hide! #1953. TFTC.
Spent my Sunday nabbing some caches around Porirua! Cool random view here that i had no idea existed. Great hide!
Had to go around a couple of times to find the out of place object, having discounted it the first time around but finding nothing else. A well crafted cache and great views earns a FP from us.
Found on a cycle ride Ngatitoa Domain, Cannons Creek, Whitby and back round the Inlet. Cold, sunny and no wind made for an enjoyable day. We really appreciate the thought and enterprise thats been put into the hides for these caches. TFTC
Now thats an interesting seat - able to have views in all directions! Nicely crafted cache. TFTC
Just passing by here today figured I might as well check up on this. All good still.
Got a call from Yeetrees asking if I wanted a walk. Teamed up with him and -gonefishing- for a stroll. -gonefishing- quickly spotted the well constructed container and was soon in hand. All in order. TFTC
Out for a stoll today with Yeetrees and Mr-Mcgoo picking up a few caches along the walkway.
Managed to spot something of interest and Mr-Mcgoo was able to grab it. Nicely done.

I reached a sort of triangular clearing and thought I'd arrived, but my GPS was adamant I still had about 25m to go. A perusal of the description revealed all and I quickly got to GZ. It still took several minutes to spot the cleverly hidden cache. Another of the CO's exemplary hides.

Needed a cache for the day and in the area so took a pleasant lunch time walk. Was going to head up and get the one further up the hill but short on time so made the stop here. Nicely constructed hide and in pristine condition. Thanks for the cache.
Just a quick checkup on this cache while taking a walk around here. The cache wasn't hidden that well so was kind of obvious. Please take care when returning the cache that it blends in properly.
The cache itself is fine as is the log.

#8938. A venture up from Cannons Creek to sunny Takapu Valley today. We first arrived at GZ to find a couple of Friends of Maara Roa fixing some plaques to the triangle seat. Had a quick chat with them, and decided to carry on to All Uphill From Here first.
Upon return to this spot, the Friends had already completed their task and left. So GZ was all quiet at this time. Enjoyed the good views from this lookout. Quick find. Nicely camouflaged. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Cache # 3,622 - after a previous DNF earlier, Astro Hunter and I pushed on for this one. Took a bit of searching, even though we had a good idea what we were looking for. Very well concealed, well constructed, and definitely worth a favourite point. TNLNSL. TFTC!

I was very pleased to find this well hidden cache immediately although I was assisted by perfect coordinates. I have no hesitation in awarding a favourite point. This is turning out to be a very enjoyable hike.
Better walkway than I was expecting and nice area for the cache.
Another good hide here.

Nicely done cache. Unfortunately there was an 8 legged monster hanging on to it... caching really does make me face my fears!!!

A late afternoon stroll through the bush and up the hill after the celebrations of the day to try and work off at least a small fraction of the lovely Christmas lunch from Mrs S. [^][^]
Quite a clever hide here!! [^] Read the hint and followed the instructions while doing a lap of the seat. Humm ... ok nothing stands out though there are some numbers stapled underneath one of the seats - a clue perhaps? Starting another lap I noticed something very slightly different and upon investigation, achieved success. Like It!
Signed the log and rehid the cache back in its spot while enjoying the view back down the valley. TFTC.
FP added for the clever cache.

Had a very enjoyable afternoon walk up the track, I don't think I have been along here since the 1990s. Found the nicely constructed and camouflaged cache after a few minutes' searching likely spots. Signed log, TFTC
Happy Days FTF. A flash looking seat which looks pretty new. a quick hunt around and I found the nicely camoed container. Another blank logsheet and a happy cacher. TFTC
Took a bit of searching for this on, great hide. Must have lapped the triangle at least a couple of times to get this one to log. Heading up the trail for more cashes. TFTC
Now that took a bit of spotting! Very nicely done. Even PTS was impressed I& it will get a FP when I have one again. A beautiful evening to be out walking, thanks for bringing us here.
